I think powder foundations are sooo underrated! Tati, please make a video on top 5 or top 10 powder foundations! Combo/oily skin types are perfect for powder foundations, which are basically 2-in-1! Lots of love!
I just want to thank you for having your husband giving his opinion. I like to think that a product is really working if a guy notices and likes it. Not all guys are unobservant but my husband is lol. It's just helpful to get James's opinion too! He's realistic about it but super sweet too. You guys are so cute! Sarah Smith meh why though? When people call someone fat they aren't literally referring to their body composition. Of course they aren't just fat and of course even the trimmest people carry fat. It's about the appearance though. After you've reached a certain percentage of body fat, on the surface you'll only see fat, hence you look/are fat. Nobody has a problem with calling thin people skinny even though "skinny" isn't LITERALLY accurate because these people aren't literally skin. You can't take such expressions literally...
Tati my ears are sticking out and I've always been very self conscious about it. I never ever put my hair up if I go out. But when I started watching your videos and saw that you had the same insecurity as me and that you were okay with it and looked confident, I felt so much better. I was always thinking about getting an othoplasty done (my mom is very against surgeries) but now I don't. So thank you very much for that and you look gorgeous as always! ❤

Bare Minerals or Tarte have good powder foundations that are more affordable. I used to use Bare Minerals all the time before I found the world of liquid foundation, and I have oily skin, and it worked well. 😀
+Ashley Nicole I've switched from my Bare Minerals original to the Loreal True Match Mineral. The color match in the cool toned light is better for me and the texture/finish are great. The packaging is annoying but I just tipped it into an empty Bare Minerals sifter and was good to go.

Same here. I think with a different shorter playful haircut, Tati will look much younger. Some hair styles can really age the person a lot, and others can take away years, not to mention let one's true persona shines. :)
I watched this video, when you first uploaded it, and I almost bought the loose powder; however, I actually bought this powder foundation. I purchased it in the shade Rose Beige, and I ABSOLUTELY love this foundation! I'm not even into powder foundation, but I LOVE this! I actually had to go to the La Prairie site and chat with someone because the shades on the Nordstrom app are all out of order. I plan to get the loose powder in a week or two, and I have fallen in love with their products! It really does work VERY WELL with the sponge that is in the compact. Thank you for doing these videos! I also bought the Tom Ford eyeliner! I am hooked for like on both of these products! I just purchased the foundation, and I have yet to actually use it; however, I did test it out on half of my face, and I already want a backup! This is why I LOVE your WTF series! You are very critical with your reviews, and they have always been a wonderful guide for me! Thank you soooo much! I'm excited to purchase and try their powder, and I hope to find some other products that I like from them. I also spoke to someone at Nordstrom, on the phone, out of state, and the lady works in the La Prairie section. The caviar foundation and concealer you tried before was something she did not recommend for me, and I knew it wouldn't be for me either. She recommends that for mature skin, but I wanted to get something for my mother in law from this line, since her birthday is coming up. I am in my early 20's, and I hope to see you do more videos on foundations, powders, eyeliners, etc.! I know some of the products that you show and try out are for more mature skin; however, 99% of your reviews on products are for anyone and everyone! I'm glad you did the caviar foundation and concealer review! I will probably get that for my mother in law. I would have to order it, since we do not have a Nordstrom near us. Also, I was wondering if you know whether this product creases or sinks into fine lines and/or wrinkles? I don't have any of those issues, but my mother in law does. I was curious as to whether you may know this information or not. (You do not look like you have fine lines or wrinkles, but I was curious if you knew by testing this product out on your mom or if you had friends who use this foundation and have those issues). If they do not settle into any of those areas, then I may just get her this foundation. I hope to hear back from you, or if anyone else on here knows, then please let me know. Thank you again! She posts every single day, so obviously under the circumstances, she is going to film multiple videos on the same day, in order to have a video every day of the week for us. She along with Shaaanxo and KathleenLights to name a few, have the most impressive work ethic, everyone else barely post once a week, which is a sham. Jaclyn should take note, people older and younger than her are killing it. It is admirable to see that even though they don't have to post as frequently, they do so regardless, this is what a successful channel is.

Am I the only one who actually prefers to see her with her hair tucked behind her ears? It really brightens her eyes and skin, and she has the most beautiful face, so why not show it?
It gives good coverage to people with nice skin to begin with. If you want to see someone who has actual skin issues try this foundation go watch Thataylaa. She has bad cystic acne and it didn't really cover anything.
It is unfortunate that La Prairie has limited shades for their complexion makeup. I enjoy the skin care and chuckled as the SA tried to sell me the foundation in Pecan. It was an ashy mess, do not try to BS a MUA. POC spend on average $7.5 billion annually on cosmetics, we are a grossly overlooked segment.

looks more editorial because you put only the amount of concealer that you need. In contrast, the big triangle concealer technique under the eyes may make you look too made up. In this video you had less of that instagram makeup (unecessarily heavy coverage, block brows, extreme highlight, contour, baking) which was originally for drag queens. This looks more like enhancing beauty instead of wearing a mask

I really recommend Tarte's medium coverage foundation if you are looking for good coverage that still feels light. The product is matte and very reasonably priced.

Okay, if I were to splurge and save up on one WTF product, it would be this one. I need the quickest makeup routine ever!! With school, two jobs, and theater shows coming up, I need long lasting quick easy makeup that looks NATURALLY beautiful. My mom is always telling me to blend my makeup and thinks I have too much on. I have been on the hunt for a great powder foundation. Thank you so much Tati for this in-depth review on this product. Thank you for zooming in on your pores that I could barely notice. I always love James's cameos in videos and his comments. Side note: Trust me, single gals listen to his comments! Please do a top 5 or 10 best powder foundations. I feel like a lot of girls have busy schedules and need fast make routines. I say powder foundations are a way to go!! Also, this is my favorite TH-cam Beauty channel!! ITcosmetics has a cheaper powder foundation. That has crazy coverage. I'm obsessed with it :) the shades kinda suck. But a great option for sure

She along with Shaaanxo and KathleenLights to name a few, have the most impressive work ethic, everyone else barely post once a week, which is a sham. Jaclyn should take note, people older and younger than her are killing it. It is admirable to see that even though they don't have to post as frequently, they do so regardless, this is what a successful channel is.

It gives good coverage to people with nice skin to begin with. If you want to see someone who has actual skin issues try this foundation go watch Thataylaa. She has bad cystic acne and it didn't really cover anything.

It is unfortunate that La Prairie has limited shades for their complexion makeup. I enjoy the skin care and chuckled as the SA tried to sell me the foundation in Pecan. It was an ashy mess, do not try to BS a MUA. POC spend on average $7.5 billion annually on cosmetics, we are a grossly overlooked segment.

looks more editorial because you put only the amount of concealer that you need. In contrast, the big triangle concealer technique under the eyes may make you look too made up. In this video you had less of that instagram makeup (unecessarily heavy coverage, block brows, extreme highlight, contour, baking) which was originally for drag queens. This looks more like enhancing beauty instead of wearing a mask

I always love James's cameos in videos and his comments. Side note: Trust me, single gals listen to his comments! Please do a top 5 or 10 best powder foundations.
