- Sam Darnold matched his career high with four touchdown passes, and the undefeated Minnesota Vikings trounce C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans 34-7.

As a Vikings fan I've been a big admirer of C.J. because of the way he carries himself. The talent he has is the exclamation point on the future of the Texas franchise and as long as DeMeco and the front office can build around him and be smart with the team there's no reason to believe they're leaving the conversation anytime soon. Ya'll got a bright future ahead and it's only week 3!!

Vikings could be a problem
I am a Vikings Fan who has been cautiously optimistic given the cursed nature of the team. I say this because I did not want to go into watching this game believing everything is going to be perfect. Football is a rough sport with many competitive individuals with some insane dedication and drive. I was happy to see my team succeed, but I also went into it feeling like the Texans had a real shot too. Texans fans have a real one with this coach here. Demeco Ryans does not mince words. It was a blast seeing him succeed so much in his first year as the Texans head coach. It was great watching CJ Stroud blossom last year, because at that point when he started to find a groove I wasn't happy buying into the pessimistic views I had watching Football games. The Texans are a team which really made me reevaluate why I watch the game, and so now I am trying to find more of the fun in watching, enjoying the good moments when they come. I got to hand it to the Texans for inspiring me to reevaluate my stances on what it means to be a fan of this game. As a Vikings fan, thank you for that. I wish all the fans of the Texans the best. I respect the hell out of your team.

SKOL. Respect to coach ryans. A young coach still evolving with a great team to work with and a lot of weapons in stock to use. It’s only week 3. Texans just couldn’t get momentum and get the ball rolling. I still see a lot of positivity ahead for the texans down the stretch.
SKOL I told eveyone Slowick has been hair horrible at play calling this year and the vikings (my other favorite team) Are the one team I was worried about. And it happened I see vikings winning NFC at this point.
Although the defense did not show up in the game against the Minnesota Vikings overall the Texans defense has done a great job in my opinion
CJ is a fantastic football player that will be very good in this league for years to come. As a Vikings fan I was worried about this game because of the amount of talent that Houston has on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. The Texans are still the team to beat in the AFC in my opinion, they look way better than the Chiefs.

He needs to go. Writing up plays is only a small percentage. You gotta instill confidence in your squad. You gotta know how to handle your big players and if they keep having snap trouble THEN PRACTICE THE SNAP COUNTS. don't just sit there with that stupid slowick look your face do something. I strongly believe that CJ is the franchise. I do believe my Texans will get it together and ball out this year. I am so proud of the way Nico Collins is playing!
This was a demoralizing loss. I am discusted by what I witnessed today. Not one player on the Texans showed up to play. ON OFFENSE: No protection, stupid penalties, no reciever could get open, awful quarterback play, uncreative, predictive playcalling. ON DEFENSE: Leaving Justin Jefferson WIDE OPEN on almost every single play in the first half (bad coaching), not getting to the quarterback, missed tackles, not stopping the run.... I had high expectations for this team, but today they looked like the old bottom of the barrel Texans. Not even competitive...
I love Demeco and CJ I’m not even worried this team is going to bounce back and be great. No excuses what so ever, taking accountability. That’s what the great teams do!!!
The momentum was given to the Vikes in the 1st quarter and they never let it go due to penalties...the refs controlled the tempo the entire game in the first half and we just could not get into a rhythm after that...good game Vikes we will get you next time

Yeah the oline was toasted today from all sides. CJ was running for his life today but also only Diggs was getting separation. Vikings defense brought their A game today ngl.
And i dont see how texans are going to want to win more games if they dont fix the O-line guys like Kenyon Green and Shaq mason are huge big body guys to protect cj need 3 hundred pounds guys

Texans need to stop tip towing around tunsil! Vet or not he needs to be held accountable and participate in the off-season. Tunsil does this every year and it's costing the Texans games. I feel like the Texans coaches are afraid to coach tunsil and hold tunsil accountable. Quit giving Tunsil vet days off, he needs to practice his timing.

Cj has a super fast arm. he needs to get better at faking the play action and turning back around to make the throw. cant expect to be able to sit and stare straight head all day. I see a sophomore slump in CJ! He only has two interceptions but he has been bailed out the last 3 weeks and should have more interceptions. The offense has looked horrible the last 3 weeks. For the first 2 weeks we played inferior teams and we still looked like the cardiac Texans

I’m a fifty year Viking die hard and noise definitely disturbed your team. Tunsil was very poor in his play and maybe should’ve been replaced to get him to wake up. Unexpected is a word our team would use also but different players under different coaches and being Hungary with one year contracts can be a nice result for a team. We’ve had three games at home let’s see what happens on the road.
