I feel like this game just isn't very good. Literally all the bosses are a total joke except for Iggy which is just medium and Bowser being the only actual challenging one. I feel Lemmy is stronger than we think in the first two games, even though the balls don’t damage you they can still push you off, dealing a maximum of 3 hit points of damage.
