@@gonzalo4658 bro the game is so stale and bland and the bosses are literally the same with really no action, they could've at least added Bowser Jr. and revamped his style of fighting.

This game technically has eight worlds in the main game if u count world mushroom and world flower, and no it wouldn't be due to hardware limitations
In the first New Super Mario Bros. on the DS, you kill Bowser Jr. off as part of the final boss. (Bowser & Bowser Jr.)
That's why we see the Koopaling bosses in NSMB2.

Fah you mean? Ive always thought Larry should be the final boss. I was surprised it was Lemmy and not Larry, that’s my questioning on the thinking. Other than that though, Larry is the iconic first world boss / first encounter, his “entrance” reaction and catchphrases and symmetrical turtle shape don’t get more Mario than that.
So it’s been my idea that in a later game he’s suddenly not as easy and turns to be the final villain . He’s just zo cool
I also liked how they put significance on Iggy, like he’s successor to Ramek. That was another character I found hard as a kid and that had a cool signature “entrance” boss reaction and cool catchphrases, movements. Rightly so, he’s commandeers all this whole shit ,crazy n shit “OO-HOO!”
Also, Lemmy’s thought to be the second oldest koopa
AND, i in general agree with them being ‘special bosses’ if nintendo really didnt design for them to be in the storyline.
