That last boss was probably an improvisation. Bowser died after the fall, but Kamek casted the quickest spell he could find, reviving Bowser and giga-tising him. Kamek obviously didn’t know what he was doing, hence why he was so confused
I love Ludwig as well, especially when he goes “Oh...”, ever so slyly. If I remember correctly, his shell slide kinda scared me because of its speed, same with Morton.

I love how in this game they had you fight them twice. But it didn’t seem repetitive because the second time was always really different from the other. I also like the fact that you never used power ups to make the bosses really easy
Oh my, awesome. You are one of few people that don't instantly jump on the NPC's heads after they come out of their shell. This is really annoying when people do that. They "show" the bosses, yeah, we see their appearance, but we don't get to see how they move, their animations, magic, etc. So thank you for not jumping right on their head after they come out. You, like, earned a like and a sub. Normally I only like Music videos, to find them easily, but this is really fun to watch someone not ruining NSMB bosses.
I often did that a lot but at the the time I was complete garbage at the game and got desperate, but hey, I was like 8 or 9, I was very impatient at the time

I really like how most of the ambient sounds in the castle corridors before the boss battle correspond to the world’s theme. World 1, 2 and 6 has lava boiling. World 3 has wind and presumably ice twinkling? World 4 has water dripping, World 5 has birds tweeting (and Iggy giggling) and World 7 has wind and air.
Always thought those were the noises inside the lands structure like the inside sounds of Pyramids & Mountains etc. but did not know it was Lava Boiling
I love how in NSMBW the bosses have become a good challenge for the player, unlike in NSMB DS and NSMB2. In their first boss fight they are fairly balanced bosses, but in their second boss fight they are made much harder to beat and require a lot more concentration and reflexes. It doesn't surprise me at all that NSMBW has the best boss fights in the entire NSMB series.

The Lemmy fight was awesome, because a lot of people just hit him right after he gets out of his shell, not even giving him time to place a ball, and I’m happy that this guy didn’t do that
iggy always stood out to me. Why? Cause he screams when he sees mario. Unlike the others he isn’t angry,shocked,or impressed/unamused. He is genuinely afraid knowing Mario took out his whole tower believing, if he was able to do that he wouldn’t stand a chance.
This brings me back as a child. My sister and mother would always play this and they reached island 9 when they had finally given the game up. I still have it but the Wii won’t accept the disk anymore
No joke, when I was younger (around 13-ish, maybe younger), I actually cried tears of rage from not being able to beat Ludwig's castle. I struggled so hard on the castle part, only to be confronted by an almost impossible boss afterward. I did eventually beat it. But shortly after is when my Wii finally gave up its ghost and croaked permanently. Talk about bad luck! I never did finish this game.

I know it's an odd thing, but god I just love the sound design for then leaving and going into their shells, as well as the spinning, I just really like the sound.
I remember when my brother got me this game. I must say, it was hard playing this solo when I was 14. Even though I struggled a lot, I manage to complete it by myself, all star coins and world 9. This is also what got me into the koopalings, and ever since then I've been a fan of them. This is why I love this game, makes me want to set up my Wii U and play it again.

I used to cry alot due to the memories of playing this game when i was young, but whenever i play it, i find myself screaming and raging over a tiny goomba that stops me before getting the final star coin.
I credit this game for having the most creative Koopaling fights I've ever seen, just like how SMW did! NSMBU is pretty creative too, but theirs I felt was easier and not as thrilling. Yes, these bosses are still easy to beat (for the most part), but what bosses in 2D Mario history can you not beat in seconds?! Exception is SMB2 who are pretty challenging.
True story, my brother and I were fighting lemmy for the 2nd time, I was dead, he defeated him, but got in the pits, so instead of waiting, he bubbled, and thus lost. And then the platforms came back up. Story of our lives
God, I remember the feeling of how hyped I was for this game. A sequel to a previous game I enjoyed, the fact that it was the first 2D Mario to have 4 player co-op, but most of all, the fact that the Koopalings made their first appearance in years (outside of Superstar Saga & remakes). To add more additional hype, it the first game for the Koopalings to appear alongside Bowser Jr. In the same game, as well as the first game to display them with 3D models. It may not seem like a big deal now, but for those who aren’t aware, or need to be remembered, this was during a time period when everyone thought that Jr. would replace the Koopalings. This was also a time period when the Koopalings were still considered Bowser’s original children, before Miyamoto decided to change their story around a few years later, and say that the Koopalings were just minions while Jr is the only son. It was an amazing time to be a fan of both the Mario franchise and a 2D Platformers in 2009. Thanks to this game alone, Many other franchises tried to follow in this game’s suit with the whole 2.5 perspective platformers, & multiplayer platforms (or both) such as “Sonic 4 Ep. 1”, “Rayman Origins”, & even Nintendo’s own “Donkey Kong Country Returns”, & “Kirby: Return to Dream Land” Other Mario games that followed came and went with their own precious (or dreaded) memories, but for me, this was definitely one of the top Mario games I was really hyped for, and enjoyed the heck out of it. It definitely made my Christmas morning that same year. Really wish I could relieve this time period again.

The fight with Lemmy koopa was the best because it was longer, more intense, and you made it more intense my missing of the jumps. All the battles were pretty cool but this one was the best in my opinion

I really like how most of the ambient sounds in the castle corridors before the boss battle correspond to the world’s theme.
World 1, 2 and 6 has lava boiling. World 3 has wind and presumably ice twinkling? World 4 has water dripping, World 5 has birds tweeting (and Iggy giggling) and World 7 has wind and air.
It never occurred to me that those were lava sounds
Always thought those were the noises inside the lands structure like the inside sounds of Pyramids & Mountains etc. but did not know it was Lava Boiling

I love how in NSMBW the bosses have become a good challenge for the player, unlike in NSMB DS and NSMB2.
In their first boss fight they are fairly balanced bosses, but in their second boss fight they are made much harder to beat and require a lot more concentration and reflexes.
It doesn't surprise me at all that NSMBW has the best boss fights in the entire NSMB series.

This brings me back as a child. My sister and mother would always play this and they reached island 9 when they had finally given the game up. I still have it but the Wii won’t accept the disk anymore
No joke, when I was younger (around 13-ish, maybe younger), I actually cried tears of rage from not being able to beat Ludwig's castle. I struggled so hard on the castle part, only to be confronted by an almost impossible boss afterward. I did eventually beat it. But shortly after is when my Wii finally gave up its ghost and croaked permanently. Talk about bad luck! I never did finish this game.

I remember when my brother got me this game. I must say, it was hard playing this solo when I was 14. Even though I struggled a lot, I manage to complete it by myself, all star coins and world 9. This is also what got me into the koopalings, and ever since then I've been a fan of them. This is why I love this game, makes me want to set up my Wii U and play it again.

I credit this game for having the most creative Koopaling fights I've ever seen, just like how SMW did! NSMBU is pretty creative too, but theirs I felt was easier and not as thrilling. Yes, these bosses are still easy to beat (for the most part), but what bosses in 2D Mario history can you not beat in seconds?! Exception is SMB2 who are pretty challenging.

God, I remember the feeling of how hyped I was for this game. A sequel to a previous game I enjoyed, the fact that it was the first 2D Mario to have 4 player co-op, but most of all, the fact that the Koopalings made their first appearance in years (outside of Superstar Saga & remakes). To add more additional hype, it the first game for the Koopalings to appear alongside Bowser Jr. In the same game, as well as the first game to display them with 3D models.
It may not seem like a big deal now, but for those who aren’t aware, or need to be remembered, this was during a time period when everyone thought that Jr. would replace the Koopalings. This was also a time period when the Koopalings were still considered Bowser’s original children, before Miyamoto decided to change their story around a few years later, and say that the Koopalings were just minions while Jr is the only son.
It was an amazing time to be a fan of both the Mario franchise and a 2D Platformers in 2009. Thanks to this game alone, Many other franchises tried to follow in this game’s suit with the whole 2.5 perspective platformers, & multiplayer platforms (or both) such as “Sonic 4 Ep. 1”, “Rayman Origins”, & even Nintendo’s own “Donkey Kong Country Returns”, & “Kirby: Return to Dream Land”
Other Mario games that followed came and went with their own precious (or dreaded) memories, but for me, this was definitely one of the top Mario games I was really hyped for, and enjoyed the heck out of it. It definitely made my Christmas morning that same year. Really wish I could relieve this time period again.

The fight with Lemmy koopa was the best because it was longer, more intense, and you made it more intense my missing of the jumps. All the battles were pretty cool but this one was the best in my opinion
