Roy: high jumper and ground-pound (big pipes,on roof)
lemmy: bouncy rubber balls rolled on (big ball)
Wendy: rings (y so ez now?) from wand, ballet jumper (underwater battle)
iggy: higher jumper than Larry and roy, moving platforms (big chain chomp chariot thing, similar to paper Mario: color splash)
Morton:small platform, skewers on edge ground pounder (when Morton ground pounds, platform around him go up, trying to crush Mario and friends)
Ludwig: flirter,homing magic balls from wand, conveniently learned yoshi's flutter, and can do it more than once! (Constantly moving up platforms until Ludwig is defeated)

That last boss was probably an improvisation. Bowser died after the fall, but Kamek casted the quickest spell he could find, reviving Bowser and giga-tising him. Kamek obviously didn’t know what he was doing, hence why he was so confused

I love Ludwig as well, especially when he goes “Oh...”, ever so slyly. If I remember correctly, his shell slide kinda scared me because of its speed, same with Morton.

110% agree!!! i still have a completed save file of this game, but i'm nowhere near as good as i used to be..... i just like watching the boss battles
This brings me back to the old days, the thing about the Koopalings made me love the Mario franchise. When I was more younger than now, I used to think they were so cool (they still look cool to this day).
I paid a lot more attention to them since NSMBWii, but what made me love them to the fullest is Mario Kart 8!

but for reason my favorite Koopalings for Mario Kart 8 are Larry and Lemmy,

Those guys kind of remind me the nerdlucks from space jam They’re both silly looking goons, who like to follow orders, but are too stupid to listen to them.

Oh my, awesome. You are one of few people that don't instantly jump on the NPC's heads after they come out of their shell. This is really annoying when people do that. They "show" the bosses, yeah, we see their appearance, but we don't get to see how they move, their animations, magic, etc. So thank you for not jumping right on their head after they come out.
You, like, earned a like and a sub. Normally I only like Music videos, to find them easily, but this is really fun to watch someone not ruining NSMB bosses.
I often did that a lot but at the the time I was complete garbage at the game and got desperate, but hey, I was like 8 or 9, I was very impatient at the time

I love how in this game they had you fight them twice. But it didn’t seem repetitive because the second time was always really different from the other. I also like the fact that you never used power ups to make the bosses really easy

I really like how the ambient sounds in the castle corridors before the boss battle correspond to the world’s theme.
World 1, 2,6: Lava boiling
World 3: Ice ringing
World 4: water dripping
World 5: birds singing and Iggy laughing
World 7: strong wind and air
It never occurred to me that those were lava sounds
Always thought those were the noises inside the lands structure like the inside sounds of Pyramids & Mountains etc. but did not know it was Lava Boiling
Ludwig is my favorite Koopaling, but Larry and Morton are also really cool.

iggy always stood out to me. Why? Cause he screams when he sees mario. Unlike the others he isn’t angry,shocked,or impressed/unamused. He is genuinely afraid knowing Mario took out his whole tower believing, if he was able to do that he wouldn’t stand a chance.

I love how in NSMBW the bosses have become a good challenge for the player, unlike in NSMB DS and NSMB2.
In their first boss fight they are fairly balanced bosses, but in their second boss fight they are made much harder to beat and require a lot more concentration and reflexes.
It doesn't surprise me at all that NSMBW has the best boss fights in the entire NSMB series.

I used to cry alot due to the memories of playing this game when i was young, but whenever i play it, i find myself screaming and raging over a tiny goomba that stops me before getting the final star coin.
Meeting Ludwig for the first time was prob the creepiest boss I met when playing this game. His chuckle than “ohhh” than proceeding to fucking fly was terrifying for my younger self. Than getting to the castle I was like “ok I’m ready for you this time” than the ground breaks and you start going up super fast on 3 little platforms, then his spell attack turning into a wide spread sorta attack. AND CAN STILL FUCKING FLY! I was like “WTF!?”

True story, my brother and I were fighting lemmy for the 2nd time, I was dead, he defeated him, but got in the pits, so instead of waiting, he bubbled, and thus lost. And then the platforms came back up. Story of our lives

No joke, when I was younger (around 13-ish, maybe younger), I actually cried tears of rage from not being able to beat Ludwig's castle. I struggled so hard on the castle part, only to be confronted by an almost impossible boss afterward. I did eventually beat it. But shortly after is when my Wii finally gave up its ghost and croaked permanently. Talk about bad luck! I never did finish this game.

What’s your favorite koopaling and why? Bowser jr. doesn’t count! Judge them based on design, creativity, and abilities. My favorite is Ludwig. His hair is awesome and his fight raises the tension a lot.
I like Roy cause of his funky glasses. I also like the mechanic where he peeks and falls from the ceiling, really adds to his character! Ludwig’s fight is really good though

I like iggy because of his crazy personality and design. His boss design isn’t the greatest but it is unique from the others (the chain chomp design)
i like ludwig cuz he has so much potential and was in fact hard,but is it just me or the castle levels are harder than the koopalings cuz i wasted 20 lives just to get past larrys castle
I wasted over 30 lives just trying to get through Ludwig’s castle segment and then another 40 lives on jumping on the platforms. I felt like a god after beating him. He is harder than Bowser to me!

This brings me back as a child. My sister and mother would always play this and they reached island 9 when they had finally given the game up. I still have it but the Wii won’t accept the disk anymore
I know it's an odd thing, but god I just love the sound design for then leaving and going into their shells, as well as the spinning, I just really like the sound.
