Railfanning at the January 2024 Dallas Area Model Train Show Featuring FWWR numbers 157 and 2248

What’s going on Texas Railfans Railfan Ryan I’m finally back Railfanning and this is TexasRailfan21 kick of the Start of 2024 Attending the first of the two Annual Dallas Area Model Train Shows on the third weekend of January 2024. I have been going to this train show since I was a kid even back then when they were originally held in Fort Worth Texas first at the downtown convention center in downtown Fort Worth and the Will Rogers convention center adjacent to the stock show area. Nowadays the show is hosted in Plano Texas at the Plano event center and now I go to both shows because I am a member of one of the clubs that is featured at this show two clubs that are at the show I have grew up seeing since I was a kid the club I am a part of is the G scale North Texas Garden Railroad Club which I have been a member since 2018 originally joining them at the Clark Garden train show in mineral Wells Texas and fall 2018 of that I now have a vest train collection that I always run during these my train featured are my custom Fort Worth & Western Railroad collection the star of the show has been a very reliable locomotive ever since I got her from a friend who is also a member of the club my pride and joy FWwR mogul Annie number 157 this was her last show before she was due to get her paint touched up again my good friend and TH-cam user Mr.James Conductor who originally painted and lettered 157 into her current appearance will be doing some well needed touchup work on various spots on the engine where the paint got scratched or scuffed. Also in the show displayed to the public is my half completed accurate model of former Fort Worth & Western 4-6-0 ten wheeler Puffy number 2248 and three of the completed six passenger cars of the Tarantula Train so sit back and enjoy the ride as I take you around the show to see all the model club layouts featured.
