@ no the wigwags are going to stay they’re just not gonna use the other one it’s gonna serve as the relay case for the crossing as the relay box is connected to the wigwag

@@Nashvillesteam42 there was actually one of those special triangle key locks for sale at the train show where I got this custom-made key for my switch lock in this video this is actually not a key this is a ratchet turned into a home built key

@@MorrisonFriends even though I was behind a fence and it was a little bit hard to see it was a good shot regardless the signal set up is basically a little interesting the mast only holds up the lights the stop on red signal sign and it’s installed directly next to one of the support columns to the roller coaster with the crossbuck mounted on it instead of the signal mast and the signal that holds the opposite gate signal with the WCH electronic bell is actually mounted on a little hill so the mast holding up the gate mechanism is slightly shorter and the two gate lights are mounted on the furthest end of the wishbone gate as for the further signal with the teardrop bill it’s the same as the gate signals at shockwave and boomtown it is the same western railroad supplied double pole gate mechanism signal

@@Kai-643 no worries thank you this train is currently out of service because the axles on the driving wheels are starting to get bent the train wobbles so hard that it derails constantly hopefully I can find a fresh set of wheels to replace them to get it running good and true again

No Trinity Railway express bought two of these engines rebuilt by progress rail at their facility in Georgia numbered 130 and 131 TRE will operate them for 10 more years however sadly it’s the F59 locomotives which are not gonna be around for much longer eventually TRE will take on the order of new charger locomotives from Siemens mobility in 2026 however the F40s will run for 10 more years next year I’m gonna take every opportunity I can to film trains on the TRE line

This is actually the imperial sugar plant in Sugarland Texas 4014 is already in Texas currently slightly north of Houston it’s going to be in Fort Worth on October 9 through the 13th

They’re actually is a model of the Sam Houston Zephyr but it’s very rare to find it could be but this is the Pioneer zephyr

@@dfw_railfanner I know I was actually there when I saw the new WCH electronic be sadly installed it’s not too far from where I actually live it’s roughly a 10 minute drive to this crossing

This is one of the last crossings with a mechanical bell in Parker county the only other place is one Crossing in Aledo Texas and what appears to be a safetran crossing Bell in my hometown of Weatherford there was once a dual crossing on Main Street with Texas and Pacific style Highway flasher median signals and two gate signals with mechanical bells sadly in 2017 a train derailed at that crossing destroying the entire northside I was able to catch the functioning southside one more time before the crossing had to be upgraded the highway flasher signals were replaced with median gate signals

Thank you I believe I shot these videos in November 2023 that very same day I got to ride spike for the first time it was on its last run before it would be taken to the facility until the evening rush-hour the last passenger stop would be northside before it would deadhead back to the facility near Hodge yard but I boarded Spike at T&P station and got off at Fort Worth ITC where I spent the morning that day
