- CSX Train Crossing Over 2 Tracks To Get To Norfolk Southern Line. 2 Trains Pass At Railroad Crossing & Van Goes Around Gates With 2nd Train Coming At 18:35! Conductor On Caboose Platform Watches Railroad Crossings For Engineer. 4 Trains In Hamilton, Ohio.
I wanted to film trains diverging over a couple of tracks since the last time that I did a video on that there was a great response. The plan actually worked. I noticed the tracks switch for diverging trains so I put my radio on 160.230 and 160.440 and waited. First we see a big intermodal with a DPU shoving the rear and getting on the NS Newcastle Sub from the CSX Toledo Sub.
Then we see a northbound CSX mixed freight hit the railroad crossings and pass the area where the new motels will be built. Immediately after this train passed another train pops up in the opposite direction taking the NS New Castle interchange. Was that cool or what?! That was just like what I filmed in Kentucky a week ago when two Norfolk Southern trains passed on the hill at the Beechwood railroad crossing. It is kind of dangerous for the automobiles. You have to pay attention and assume a train can show up on any track at almost any time. While I was filming the northbound train a woman on the street approached me and asked for money. I gave her 12 bucks after I was done filming but I hope our conversation didn't come over the video. I don't think it did since the trains were so loud.
The last train is a northbound CSX local switching freight. It was reversing a long distance and had a caboose leading the way. Check out the awesome view that the conductor has while riding the platform. He was communicating with the engineer and there was a high rail truck next to the crossing that was also communicating with them.
I give a birthday shout out to a viewer in South Africa in the video between trains. Happy birthday to Ethan Jansen Van Rensburg who turns 21 on the 31st of January, 2024. I filmed so many trains that I will also have a Part 2 for this video. We will see the caboose again going in the opposite direction and we will see a loaded rail train. I will also discuss what happened while I was sitting in my truck. Another truck hit my outside rear view mirror on the drivers side. It scared the heck out of me because I was looking at a video at the time and didn't expect it. The mirror was destroyed so I will have to get that fixed soon. I think I am finally starting to feel better after the surgery. It was pretty rough. I was under for 12 hours and thought I might have pain for a few days but I was wrong. I got that done on the 10th of this month and it was very painful. You can tell that I am having trouble talking in the video. They said it will take up to 3 months for my gums and jaw to heal. I also want to thank everyone for the well wishes and prayers. For a few days I was wondering if I was going to make it. I found out that they don't like to give pain medicine the way they used to 20 years ago. Todays pain medicine is bags of ice. Lol
Filmed Monday, January 22, 2024 in 1080p with 60fps. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for getting cold for our entertainment JT, it’s very much appreciated.
Thanks for watching!
I was wandering around in Hamilton this morning (Jan23) had to stop because a fellow was standing close to the street and filming a train. I was in the grey Nissan PU when the last car went by. That’s probably the closest I’ll to get my “5 minutes of fame”. My truck gets a cameo in a Jaw Tooth vid. How cool is that!
I enjoy your content, JT. Keep up the good work.
Morning, Jawtooth, hope you're feeling better.
@marksykes8722, i think he is feeling better now.
@@LisbonRailProductionsandF1Glad to hear it.
@@marksykes8722 no problem.
@@marksykes8722 i checked your channel, not bad.
@@marksykes8722 i subbed your channel.
It's cool to see a caboose on the end of a freight train again.
Feel better soon
Appreciate the effort
Of you working
While recovering from Surgery
Hamilton always delivers JT. Great show. Glad the healing is going well 🙏🙏🇬🇧
Yes, it is a great place because I know I can get a couple of trains for sure
Glad you are feeling better, we had you on our Global Prayer Ministries list, Jaw Tooth has now been seen around the world. Listen, You are Famous, everyone knows who Jaw Tooth is. Thanks for another awesome video, my friend.
Seeing the dogs in the snow reminded me I was reading in my paper about the bad weather in USA hope your OK.
Nice place to film getting trains diverting and busy mains, caboose with Conductor riding was cool!🛤🚂
good morning once again great video you must put on quite a few miles to give us these awesome shots i did respond to you yesterday thank you so much
Thanks for all the little comments and the details of the track and where the trains are going. Since I'm from Southwest Virginia and not knowing that part of the country it helps greatly.
Good Morning Brian, glad to hear your sounding like your old self again. Great video!
Thanks 👍
This is a cool set up with the crossovers.
Like you, I love boxcars, and I love seeing those old CN boxcars, awesome!
Hey jaw tooth cool train meet and caboose. Sorry your truck got hit. Glad you're ok. Stay safe while filming trains . Hope you're feeling better today after your surgery. Praying you healing well. Have a great railroad day. 🙋♀️🚂
Feldkamp van running the gates! Wow @18:37 cutting it close!
Awesome video as usual, glad you are out and aboutJT👍👍
Diverging Trains is my absolute, favorite new train thing. Bring em’ on!!! I hope you are feeling better, get well. Thanks! Jaw Tooth.
I like to see trains crossing from one track to another and trains crossing diamonds with all the work that goes into making them that way.
And many freight cars are stacked two high. Wow! Must be a heavy train. 😀
It’s great to see a caboose! 😊
Hope your well JT all the best from Scotland 😊
Thanks for watching from Scotland!
@@JawTooth You're welcome JT keep up the good work 😊
Hi, Brian, from the southmost tip of Texas! One of my Bucket List items is to ride a (preferably) heritage train in each country in Great Britain. Have ridden the modern train from London to Edinburgh, back in 1972, but want to ride heritage trains. Hope you are staying warm!
@@leecarlson9713 hey Lee you should visit the highlands of Scotland fantastic scenery by rail 😊
@@brianmoir3388 I have been in the Highlands twice, arriving the first time via rail, and the second time via car. Each time, I felt as though I was coming home. I have Scottish ancestry, and it was obvious to me that Scotland is in my blood!
You sound a lot better, JT. Glad to see it. Tough about the mirror but at least the guy stopped.
You know, if that lady had walked across the border she could have food and a free hotel room but she must just be an American. I'm glad you helped her out. Thank you for that.
Those diverging trains and CSX giving the Toledo Subdivision all that traffic was cool. The caboose was rich icing on a tasty cake.
I really liked seeing the CSX train switch from one track to another one
on the Norfolk Southern track, nice seeing more than one train pass on
the sidings and with a caboose as well. I always enjoy seeing the Train Dogs making an appearance especially outside in the snow and the
slide show of the trains Thank You Jaw Tooth.🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲
Can't ask for a better video great place Hamilton great video thanks Brian
I'm glad you weren't hurt. Your a nice man! I don't have any love for drunk drivers. Especially repeat offenders. That one train was a monster. I was waiting for you to say it😂. Always 1 car! Never fails. Thank you my brave friend for the video. Awesome trains. Stay warm roll on
Two long trains video. Incredible video to catch! See you on the next, Brian! 🙂👍🇺🇸
Thank you very much!
I know it is not warm out there. I appreciate the effort you took to capture the live action for us my friend. I watched another video for you.
Much appreciated
Love those meets. The timing of that meet was excellent. Enjoyed the video
Glad you enjoyed it
@@JawTooth Liked the train, with the 2 rebuilt locomotive leaders!
@@FabianDiazTrainsTrucksNCars Thanks for watching! I am finishing up Part 2 right now
I love the shot of CSX going around the curve! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Great video on this one. Lots of variety on that last train. Cool! Keep em coming and get warmed up. Peace.
Good video Jawtooth
Good morning, James, how are you doing today.
Thanks and good morning!
That's actually pretty frightening to see a big yellow thing Coming toward you JT. 😊❤
Hand warmers and great really work JT I get them for my son who has cold hands all the time, feet warmers good idea in wintertime too. Hamilton always a good show. ❤😊👍
Great tip!
Enjoyed this train video very much. So cool. Interesting caboose. ❤😊 Thanks Mr JT.😊
Good video Brian. Hamilton trains never disappoints
Thanks Greg!
Loved the shot coming at you on the crossover. I love watching the wheels on the frog.
I keep a few hand warmers along with other things in my truck. You just never know what you might need.. And thanks for braving the cold weather.
Right on
Aweful about your mirror great catches loved the caboose and the snow pooches❤❤
Trains crossing from one track to another, people running through the crossing, and a train meet, just another awesome day in Hamilton. Hope you’re feeling well.👍🏼
Great shot of csx changing tracks. That caboose is v cool ! And love the pics of dogs in the snow too!
D-P-U-I-C-U. Good train Jaw Tooth, today I actually spotted the DPU right before you called it out. I have always loved watching trains switch tracks. Weather here in Alabama has been brutally cold, but the next two days it will approach 70 degrees. I am writing this on January 23.
Thanks for the info! I sure wish it would get to 70 here
Thanks for the video under difficult conditions. The length of those trains can continues to amaze me,
🌳🚂🇮🇳🚂🌳
Excellent Video!
Thanks Taslim!
Thanks again JT, there was 300 car frames on that long trains
Thanks for another great video JT. Sorry about your truck. Stay safe. ❤
Thanks 👍
I understand JT, it's always when I get somewhere: "What did I forget now..." ... I live close to the Tehachapi pass CA and almost all trains have DPU's in the middle and the end... surprised that most trains in OH don't have DPU's
I was waiting @ "1:03" for the gate to hit you / me / us 🇺🇸 on the head, 😂😂😂❤
Trust your feeling better Brian !
Can't beat the outdoors 😊
Thanks for bringing us to Hamilton, OHIO.❤
That caboose(900045) gets a lot of air time!! I've saw it on your videos so much, I recognize and remember the number!! lol!
the GEs 910 and 55 was a empty phosphate train heading to FL via Corbin on the CC sub.symbol B310.saw them pass by in central ky.
Hi, I'm Paul from south west France, I'm new to this channel, fantastic videos, we don't have fantastic stuff like this here,
Welcome aboard! I can show you all kinds of cool train stuff from this country. Thanks for watching!
For JT and the viewers the two trains were cool. For the motorists stuck at the Crossings they were hot. That Mega train had about a dozen great Freight cars and the oddest was the Maine Central MOW gon. @18:35 that service truck ran the gates by driving around them. Some pretty old battered cars on the phosphate train and while the gondola Convoy was missing the local had its three cars of Frozen potatoes. Sadly for the crewman that wasn't a pleasurable Caribbean Breeze but more like the Cincinnati freeze.
Hot Hands are great! Those little packets you shake up and they stay hot for a few hours. I stick them in my gloves to snowblow. I also put them in my pockets when we go to hockey games .
No time to warm up the fingers, I appreciate your perseverance. Excellent train meet. Nice transfer crummy bonus. As someone who has had numerous surgeries over the years I can say I feel your pain. Great video as always, enjoyed it much. Thanks JT!
Thank you for another splendid video from Hamilton, Ohio, Jaw Tooth! I enjoyed watching the trains that moved from one CSX track to the other and then heading off onto the Norfolk Southern's New Castle Subdivion. The panel truck that shot around the gates at 18:37 really took a chance going over the tracks after the eastbound train passed the crossing but just before the westbound train came to the crossing. The driver must have been late for an important appointment.
cool l am rod from Australia
Thanks for watching from Australia!
I learned today timing is everything as missed seeing two trains..
1:29 Awesome close up shot I thought it was going to pop out of my big screen
Good Tuesday morning JawTooth, glad to see your feeling better. Have a good day my friend and another great video 🙏🏻
Good morning!
Great video as always Mr T. You’ve got a real steady hand to keep filming when you’re hands are that cold.
Thanks 👍
Felt cold just watching ! Awesome as always.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video, Brian! Talk about "STRANGE" - that car # ended with 32, and it was the 132nd car in that consist.
Interesting!
Surprised that second train didn’t have a dpu! A monster!
Wow...that runner at 18:36.
Great trains and great video JT!
🚂🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃💯👍🇺🇸
Last freight had 154 cars. Get yourself out of the cold, and stay warm! Good videos son! LOL!
Jaw tooth and I hope you are feeling better and back filming trains 😊
Jaw tooth another train!😊
Need to visit Fostoria more…I love that place
Good to see you doing what you love! Remember next time...hand warmers. Hope your feeling well!
I was going to suggest the hand warmers! They really work.
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle vidéo comme toujours ! 👍🙏
Good morning jaw tooth, I remember you from plant city, Florida, now you’re up in Ohio and I see you in Kentucky you just all over the place aren’t you well I wish you luck. Your videos are really good. I enjoy watching them you do show lotta good trains. Good luck to you.
Thanks! I am supposed to be in Plant City in a couple of weeks
Keep up the good work from Hopkinsville Kentucky love your videos need to come to Hopkinsville sometime
Nice Seaboard Family lines Covered Hoppers in the one Consist and the transfer van..
I believe Jason Asselin saw that STRANGE car before. So it's been around.
Good CSX intermodal with several interesting shots! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
The super long CSX mixed freight is an incredible train! Great variety of cars including quite a few 30000 gallon tank cars, one of them blue! Cool! Excellent catch JT. 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Where would we be without our wives buying stuff for us? 😊😊
Excellent train meet with a pair of CSX trains that had fine looking power!! Great variety of cars and freight. Another really nice curve shot, too. Fabulous job JT! 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Cabooses are really neat? 😊😊😊❤❤❤
JT, if you get any freezing rain be super careful! I fell on my face and luckily only broke my glasses. I don't want to hear of anything happening to you! 😊😊❤❤
Well done and great catches!
Glad you are feeling better JT. When you have time watch a British video just called Steam 2023. They actually run trains that are one hundred years old. with Victorian coaches and Edwardian. They even have a Jenny Lind engine working a railway special.
Thank You Jaw Tooth, stay well!
Good morning Jaw Tooth. Good to see you doing fine.
Good morning!
JT is back in the saddle. You can't keep a good railfan down!
Wow! Awesome catches Brian 👏
Thank you very much!
@@JawTooth Hi Brian! You're welcome!
Nothing like live action … but some of it can be senseless. Hope you’re feeling better and thanks for getting out there for us. And was that a SD70AC in fresh paint?
Nice catches.
Roosty roosty rooooo! Somebody used a lotta white paint on that _strange_ boxcar. @ 23:07 Skeletor... But wait, there's more... There's always puppies at the end... Hey puppydawgs! Strange boxcar, Caboose, Skeletor, and Grinchypoo too. Hot diggity.
Hello Jawtooth, hope all is well. I caught the last part of a news story about a train derailment in Greenville Oh. ( Northwest of Dayton, OH.)They said some tanker cars derailed, but were not leaking. Not sure if it was NS or CSX .RJ Corman was on scene.
Great video job !
Thank you!
Goodmorning from nw oklahoma
Good morning jaw tooth
Never seen a cutaway gondola car lol. Nice closeup of csx loco and centerbeam cars. DPU icu 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Looks more like a bay window caboose than a transfer one, but still really cool
It is both and used for moving cuts of cars that gives a place for the conductor to ride instead of hanging on the side of a car. Its not an over the road caboose
Cool video Brian. That next to the last CSX train you got the second train had a very low number Number 55 i have never seen a number that low before. Cool on the caboose.
Thanks for the info
You think that car looks strange, I used to work with a “Strange” family, dad’s name was Doug mom was Beth and son was Dustin.
Caboose CSX envy. Thanks
You bet!
Gute Besserung😊👍😊
Morning jaw tooth, awesome video as always.
Hey JT, think you missed a cheeky wee horn salute from the first loco 😮…
Great catches and nice video jaw tooth
Thank you very much!
I enjoyed that video👍👍
Thanks 👍
I’m surprised that the local didn’t honk at the crossing
hello Jaw & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool Thanks Jaw Friends Randy
