i have a 2001 chevrolet silverado 1500 with a 6 inch rc lift kit. looking to get some new tie rods. i called and asked which ones i needed and they said krtr12 were the ones for me.
Great vid. You make it look easy. Ill definitly go this route since being quotes 400 for stock install. 1/2 the price for twice the product doing it my self. I have a 2001 3500 dually. Will these fit?
Thankbuou, that's the same conclusion I came 2 as well. It's really not that terrible n of a job. Having a lifted truck gave me more room 2 work 4 sure. Double check with kryptonite. Even if this exact part # doesn't fit your application I'm sure they have a part # that will. Best of luck!
Problem is depending what series truck ur working on tie rod size may be different. Though the procedure is the same I highly doubt the tie rod size is the same on a 1500 as the 3500. They are definitely different part #'s / sizes from kryptonite

They ship the tie rods full of grease... even says so on their instructions that came with it
Pre greased yes..."full of grease" absolutely not. Definitely would not install without adding grease
No castle nut?
Just nylocks with the kryptonite
Will this fit 08 silverado 1500 2wd?
Not this specific 1. But they may have something 4 your model. Checkout their website. I'm afraid I can't say 4 suure
Wrong wat on the sway bar. Should be above your tie rods
Depending on the lift flipping the swaybar 2 utilize factory end links is common practice and perfectly acceptable. Keen eye 😉
Dude has the wrench in his hand and cant even tell you what size you need. lol just get a big wrench
