This quest was the most disappointing part of the game by far. The HR 29 Bagels? Not super hard, but you need to be careful. HR 49, the Kirin? Took me about 8 tries. Was a good challenge and it forced me to make a build around it and pay more attention than usual. HR 100? I was looking forward a lot to that quest, after Kirin I was expecting a real challenge.... I finished the quest in 14 mins with a LS first try. Kushala, Teoestra and Nergi all died on the same place they spawned in around 3 mins each. Only reason the quest took that long to complete is because you are forced to wait on the timer for the other next to spawn. I was so disappointed, the last quest in the game and its one if not the easiest one, felt like I was fighting 3 Great Jagras. The bosses are so nerfed for the quest it's not even funny.

Omar Avalos Kirin is hardest maybe, Vaal Hazak and teostra are too easy but Nergigante has no Life and no fast one Hit Attack plus its super predictable. But its hard to say which one is easier, my First Encounter i died in every 3 Fights
seregios KILLA forgot all about Kirin though tbh I’ve only fought it once for the four star optional quest and once joined as it was ending so I haven’t really gotten the Kirin experience
Remember when the lance was just poke poke poke, hop, poke poke poke, hop, etc.. with no counters and shit like in MHFU!? Out of all the weapons the lance had the biggest (and better) changes.
the only thing thats new here is the Super guard and its quick counter, and forward hops, since counter has been here since MH tri, which was like 2009 lol.
In my honest opinion lance is the best option for this. In my first three tries I completely forgot about Power Gaurd, but I'm pretty sure that it can block all three of their "fuck you" moves (Kushala's super wind blow thingy, Teostra's Supernova, and Nergigante's Nuke).
I really want them to do what they did in Generations almost like adding the Anc. Steppe or an actual ice place. Or even better there’s an ‘old world’ DLC!
Akid Hamidon Nah. Didn't you see Canta open up Options? The BGM was set to 0 but he turned it back up so that Nerg's theme can play. The new themes are revised versions of the old ones.
Canta, this is random, but when you're blocking/countering Teostra's tailswipe, as long as you block/counter the first swipe, the second swipe won't hit you. It's weird, but true.
And another question what are the criteria that determine one who are noob or pro or just only completion time? I am very curious. Question about the lance block/counter. On the tail attack and the breath attack you only had to block once even though the hit box look like it connected with you a second and third time. Do you only have to block a single 'stage'(for lack of better term) of the sweeping attacks and then are immune to the rest of it? Referring specifically to the Teostra fight.
Lynthaer the breath attack you only need to counter one hit of it then you're immune to the remaining attack. This also applies to Uragaan/Radobaan gas attacks. The tail swipe however is two separate hits.

Crazy you don't prioritize any guard skills and go for all offenses, just all power guards. I couldn't imagine lancing without at least guard 3. I got some grinding to do...
Would having just level 2 crit boost via jewels and regular rath helm for lvl 7 attack be more damage considering the rath 2 piece set effect? Afaik you dont get the 2 piece by mixing regular rath and soul. Or do you not have enough tier2+ slots that way. Idk i dont have the jewels to test it.
Brian Grafflo you can mix the sets and still get the set bonuses. FightinCowboy released a very similar build the other week, he uses S&S and DB, but he explains it further.

At HR100 you now have stronger weapon, armor and decorations. Perhaps augmented weapon and armor too

You should try the Kirin Lance vs Kush and Nerg. With Thunder + 5 it has 690 Thunder damage. It's pretty sexy.
