I feel honored to have been part of the 1960s hot wheels area I remember getting thees things for Christmas and all throughout my childhood life and I am still playing with them at age 61
Best is increasing your knowledge of Redlines through books, videos, and TRUSTED people... So many scammers out there. Can’t go by dates on base for real year made, cause many cars use the same mold years later... Best way to know a Redline is looking at near mint original cars, focusing on the paint. Spectraflame paint looks like a mirror finish, and is unforgettable. And if the wheels have a hole in the center, or you can see the axle in the center, it’s NOT a redline... Knowledge and Information IS POWER...especially in your wallet..!!!
I know the Ford J-Car had an enamel white version in 1968 (partially because I have a few of them, it's one of the most common original RLs that I've found at thrift stores), I'm not sure if there were any other enamel exceptions that year off the top of my head. Mongoose and Snake were also enamel in 1970 but they still had stickers except for the headlights which were tampos.
A Hot Wheels Redline is most of the HW cars I used to have back in the 70s! What a nidiot! I had Matchbox, Corgi, Dinky Spot-On, then I got interested in going to the pub and don't know where they all went. Doh! 🤦😅
Hey do you have any info about the alternate light green flying colors heavy chevy? I have one an cant find alot of info other than it's rare but not alot else
@@KurbzGarage awesome. I'm not on fb. But I'll check it out. I'm looking to sell it if ya know anyone. Lol. It's not in bad shape. But its definitely been played with an enjoyed.
If you have the app offer up you can search tampa FL an see my collection including the heavy chevy I have for sale. Thank you so much for your info. And you wouldn't believe how an where I found it. It was all in one purchase an the price was ridiculously low. Youd never believe what I paid for them all. Over 100 vintage hotwheels 1968 to 1988 including 8 redlines
Can you reply please? I have a Solar Reflex Hot Wheels Car (red) with redline on the wheels. Writings: Malaysia and there's a symbol beside it (almost the same as those in treasure hunt, but the image is different and not a fire symbol) Below code R44. I'm a beginner, and I bought the item for one dollar from a thrift shop. Tell me, is this just an ordinary model or something special to it?

There was also a dark green enamel version of the HK Custom Volkswagen...

Hi
the original redlines were only made in the US and Hong Kong they also never have the flame Hot Wheels logo just all caps HOT WHEELS
Solar Reflex also not a redline casting
If it's put out by Mattel Hot Wheels isn't it a "Re Issue"?
Please use a clip, or mount, your hands shake to much to see anything. Good video tho.
Thanks buddy
I have more hot wheels but I don't know where can I sell it
I kept it for how many years now
You can message me on Instagram @danceswithwaves and I can help with values and such maybe even buy some
