For a preview of ESP Presents Phase 2, here’s Nergal, Orion, and Seth from Polish extreme metal gods Behemoth doing a playthrough of their song “Ov My Herculean Exile” from their upcoming album Opvs Contra Natvram. Nergal is using his LTD Signature Series NS-6, while Orion is using his updated LTD Signature Series Orion-4, and Seth is playing his special EX from the ESP Custom Shop. The new album is slated for release on September 16. ESP Presents Phase 2 is coming July 8!

Damn Seth is freaking GOOD man!!!! He played like that was nothing for him! You can clearly see his experiences and comfort in playing. He hit that bend on the last fret of his solo perfectly! I also like Seth’s guitar the most. Nice work ESP LTD.

Maybe because seth isn't an official member, He's a session/touring player.

@@alvaroescandela4495 i always felt that they kept him as a session player to keep the unholy "trinity" they have, of just Nergal, Orion & Inferno for the anti-christian symbolism. just my own hypothesis though.

Seth's solos since Satanist are total trademark of Behemoth sound.
I've always found it funny that he's not in the band.
one thing that i love about behemoth's sound is how orion's lines are very melodic and aren't just mirroring the root note of the guitars like most thrash/death/black metal bands. i especially love the bassline for the track "the satanist" with that old-school almost hard rock bass groove going on + the mini bass solo by the interlude
pair that with his crisp, clear, and rumbling tone, and you have a very unique sound that's rare in extreme metal genres.
the only other band that i can think of with this quality is anthrax with frank's bass
Seeing them live years ago was what got me into playing bass, Orion is amazing and glad Seth was included in this since people kinda forget he exists.

Yeah, I can't figure out how come he's still kinda "hired hand". Often not included in official photos, etc. To me he's an integral part of the band.

@@anotherone7924 It's Nergal's idea that Behemoth is officially just a 3 piece, as in unholy trinity. But then again he appears in videos, probably contributed to the music, he's been with them for almost as long as Orion, so yeah. Pretty wack

I have Nergal's Hex-7 signature, that thing plays like a dream. It sounds perfect and for a 7 string it's not overly wide. I've been wanting Orion's signature because I'm actually more of a bassist than a guitarist but I just can't afford it. Life gets in the way

That Nergal NS-6 sure is something!! Reminds me of a Gibson RD, which got somewhat more popular with the Ghost guys playing it some time back.
I'd love to see a baritone guitar version of Orion's bass. Like the body shape and finish of the bass but the hardware specs of Nergal's guitar and a 27" or maybe 28" scale. That is what I'd do if I had the chance to get get a custom esp guitar. Oh and no pick guard

Guys, it's a PLAYTHROUGH video...that means clear, consistent shots of the playing the entire time. No random cuts to their sig guitar with specs, closeups should have PiP of whatever is not being shown in the main shot and no filters with bad framerates.
