@@thehuangbros amazing how easily you and some others on you tube open the panels, route the wires and then put it back together. You make it look easy. I would not be able to yank stuff off my own car and would be more than upset if I couldn't properly conceal it all. I guess I need to look for a shop that charges reasonably.
@@allboutthemojo no you can do it, in my videos, i dont skip a step, i just edit it so you see the important action of each step. You can do it, just take it slow.
Thanks Barry. I just purchased a Rii Mini wireless Keyboard with a touchpad that also works. Also, have you had any issues with CarPlay (Pandora pulsing)? If so do you have a fix
Have not used pandora so i cant really comment but i can comment on carplay. Have not had issues other than the qlink app on android screen needs to be activated before plugging phone in
Has any tried replacing the trackpad with the wheel? I'm thinking of buying a 2018 NX 300H but the trackpad seems terrible compared to the previous years wheel.
Hi Bishoy. Can you elaborate? Im confused about your situation. There should be 2 usb ports labeled USB1 and USB2. For me, USB2 is dedicated to plugging phone in for CarPlay. Leaves USB1 for me to plug the touchpad in which is what I did in this video.
@@thehuangbros mine went out for the OEM side and the lag is no longer bad on the Head Unit side. The issue is that, I can't connect my new phone to the OEM Bluetooth.
@@31maine if you can’t connect to the oem bluetooth, it is not the android screen. The issue is the oem navigation system which is the thing that takes the memory card and has a disc reader.
It's awesome how you make these things look so simple.
I try to record all steps and up close so you guys get a good perspective and continuous footage of important scenes.
Very clever modification! I started searching for a touchpad mod and you have come up with one! Do you think this would work on a 2015 RC350?
Thank you for finding a good solution. I just placed my order for that touchpad.
Thanks for watching and I hope my video made it look easy to install to fix this issue.

Very interesting mod. Love to see the innovation.
It works. 🤷🏻♂️
Hey thanks for the video. If I pug the track pad then I can't use my andriod auto as it uses the same usb port. Do you have any ideas. Thanks

Do these touch pads work with andoid phones? Can they be connected via usb-c and charge at the same time?
No this is connected as USB shown in this video. Ive never seen a USB-C version
Just buy a aux cable from Japan plug in the navi unit and add wireless hdmi module
What is that hdmi module going to do? Not understanding.
Have you had the OEM track pad stop working on the OEM but not the head unit?
Nope. The oem pad for me has always worked on the oem side of screen

@@31maine unfortunately I do not. Never really had to mess with oem equipment before.
Where did you get your phone mount.
Its from rennline.com but originally meant for a porsche. Costs 60-65 but I guaranteed you won’t find a more subtle phone mount.
@@thehuangbros do you happen to know if that phone mount is compatible with the 2017 IS350?
@@chamo907 yeah it is. You just force it in between vent and dash.

Bro you have me dead with the mouse lol
I got the idea from another video when they used a wireless mouse.
I’m wait on Ron to do his review on the other Android screen. I just want to be able to play music videos 🥺😩😩
@@R0ll_lex so far he said lexion the touchpad is good to go. However cant get the oem reverse camera working
Nice video, but clean your interior.
lol when you make DIY videos, interiors always get messy no other way of recording this without it looking dirty.
