I like to think Gemstones are like a middle ground between Science and Magic, seeing as how Deep Blood, despite being an Esper Ability, is geared towards killing Vampires, a Magical race. So Gunha is basically doing both Magic and Science at the same time.

So, from what it seems: Magic God: You become a physical representation of an idol. Level 6: You become a physical representation of the cosmos. Which is ironic as magic was created to replicate the gemstones. Becoming a Magic God reminds me of mantling in the Elder Scrolls and Level 6 reminds me of Ascension in Stargate.

He got randomly contacted by someone he shouldn't be suppose to know, but you realise that deep on inside he already recognised that being Misaki subconsciously. He instantly believed that she's working hard on trying to turn Mikoto back to normal as well, not even doubting her words nor suspecting she might be running away leaving him as a sacrifice now. Misaki herself never said a word in their telepathic communication promising her working along to solve this problem. Normally you should suspect if you're just being used like a pawn, but Touma here just simply put his trust in Misaki. He knew that she's not that kind of person who will run away from this and leaving him there fighting alone, even he didn't "remember".
I like how the guys in this show, with the exception of the magic users and Accelerator solve their problems via the tried and true method of “monke punch”
Sogiita talking about how Misaka being controlled because she doesn't have enough guts is crazy. Because in the Astral Buddy manga he literally gutsed his way out of Shokuhou's control.

So I'm binging the series and this guy popped up. And I have three questions. 1: why are there dragons sealed inside of toma? 2: why isn't anybody going after toma? Those dragons made one hell of a scene and they must've been exerting a massive amount of energy. Both sides should be going after him to obtain imagine breaker and those dragons as weapons but they aren't. 3: what is gunhas ability?
At least for 2 Toma is a level 0 so almost no one in Academy City would want to bother with him. There is the Index series that gives more info on Touma if you haven't seen that already but in the anime this was the first time those dragons appear iirc

Bc I would think anybody that can regenerate like Zombie Man from OPM would be a threat to even a level five.

For instance, accelerator has the same power that Medusa from Soul Eater has. However accelerators is at a much higher level to the point where he can actually form "code" pictures in his head. And misakas no better. She can see digital code as words and manipulate it in the form of electricity. They're like a scalpel that's also a bazooka.

I think it is a nice place to tell you that-- Sogiita isn't ranked as 7th Level 5 because he's the weakest one out of all Level 5's But ranked by Aleister's Priorities, he ranked last because his guts are too much for Aleister to influence.
