Awesome job thanks for sharing. I'm rescuing a 65 coupe deville from the pine needles.

@JackTuned thanks, it's my first classic car. I'm really excited about it. From growing moss and back to the road again.

    Nice work.
Just wondering, I had an 01 suburban w/ 6.0 and consistently got 16.5 mpg.
What do these get in an ol caddy?
My favorite caddy is the 59- just those fins and bullet lights ya know?

I’m not sure tbh. I’m guessing it’s high teens. It gets abused so probably worse than that honestly.

My first vehicle was a 71 Chevy C10 short bed step side that I swapped a 327/4speed into. My first car was a 67 Cadillac Convertible. I’d kill to have both back today. Tire smoke bellowed out from the wheel skirts.

I had a lot of parts from CMD (Cadillac Motorsports and Development) a sheet metal intake, longer ratio rockers, cam and headers. It was a fun car.

@@JackTuned I need a time machine to go back and get the vehicles I owned. Especially the pair of ATC 250Rs I had. 😂

Was the transmission tunnel work worth the effort of putting in the 6L90? I have a 6L80 I'm planning to install, but questioning my judgement now.

I think so. It drives so nicely with it.

Just asking why not accessories relocation bracket

Because when you spend 15k on the engine/trans you try to make it work as is for the customer.

Why in the hell are you young cars putting computers in classic cars? You are destroying the very essence of traditional American-made cars - simplicity.
