Thank you for your thoughts and review. I have just placed my order. The writer possibly has been selected to write Hulk for Marvel. So we shouldn’t expect a part 2 anytime soon. Artwork is great. A lot of work and effort has gone into this book.
Interestingly I had this in my collection for almost 2 yrs now ( still in the shrink wrap!) , but as 'the last God' on the cover. I always wondered why they changed the title for the second printing. But sure this book was highly recommended at that time in the community. Can't wait to read it now and put it up the list on my tbr pile! Peace n love from Malaysia, cheers!
Very cool review! Are you going to get any of the new Conan books being re-released through Titan instead of Marvel??? I never collected the Marvel releases before, and when I got into omni-collecting, it was too late due to availability/expense. From what I've seen/heard Titan is doing an excellent job with the transition.
I've managed to get all of the Marvel ones except Volumes 1 and 2 of Barbarian and Savage Sword so I'm planning to get those whenever Titan finally gets around to releasing them, but they've been delayed well into next year already. My plan had been to get those then gradually start working through reviews of all of them on here, but I might just start with the ones I've got then eventually come back around and do those first two volumes when they're finally out
@@TheComicBookTrove You are right they've definitely been pushed back. The other day, I could have sworn Barbarian Vol. 1 was due in February, but I guess it's been pushed back yet again. Hopefully, it's not a bad omen for Titan Comics.
Thanks for the review. I wanted to know whether this acts as a standalone. You answered my question. Thank you so much. I am going to buy it now. Also for more fantasy comics, checkout Elric, Berserk, and Witch hat Atelier
Hey there I am stuck in a situation i Can't decide what to get between DC Kingdom Come and Dark Knight Returns. I'm just a beginner so i thought you could help me out
They're both classic 'elseworld' stories taking place away from main continuity and I recommend reading them both at some point, but Dark Knight Returns might be a better option to start with as it focuses just on Batman (and a little on Superman) whilst Kingdom Come is about pretty much the whole DC world and involves a lot more characters.
I love this book. It was one of my favorite reads last year. Hopefully we get a book 2
Only you has been talking about this book it seems... great getaway from the super heros soap operas.
The recent Elric box set from Titan Comics is great, as is Remender & Opeña's Seven to Eternity.
I'll have a look into those!

That's interesting, I'd definitely be interested to see what he would do with a Hulk story

Definitely get it out of the wrap and read it!
Hi Michael, let me recommend you The Hunger and The Dusk. Cheers.

Nice review. Not my normal choice of book but you make a great case. Looks beautiful so may give it a go if I can get it at a decent price.
Yeah I'd say it's well worth checking out for something a bit different!

We can only hope Phillip will write more Fellspyre books sooner rather than later. 🥹
Would be great if it happens
