I love your idea of “every bath is special”!!! Why do why have to wait till a special day? Everyday we wake up is special!!!! Thank you for the reminder!!!😊
It never ceases to amaze me how much clutter I accumulate without noticing it creeping in! Thank you so much for this daily motivation, Steph! You are such a blessing.
I like how your house looks like a home people actually live on and not a “display home” like other videos. Plus your clothes alway look so cute and comfy ❤
Bathrooms always seem to accumulate stuff without you realising it. It’s so refreshing once it’s cleared out and organised. It was definitely a space that needed it today! Thank you.
I have been feeling so inspired by these! I recently went through my bathroom and decluttered everything! I've been slowly going through each category in my house. Recently did my books, then the pantry and doing the baking pantry this week. I am loving all of these videos, thank you!!!
I am definitely guilty of saving the end of a discontinued bath or cosmetic product for a "special occasion" and then either I don't deem an occasion special enough, or I completely forget about it. I really need to be ruthless about these items!
I appreciate that you are a 'real' person and don't have everything in crystal containers, etc. Sometimes we have our Qtips in the box! Thanks for sharing your process. 💜 I have enjoyed clearing up the clutter. I never thought of putting towels under the sink! I only put cleaning stuff there or backup lotions or HBA stuff.
I am loving this series and I'll say it again, I love how real you are and how your home is real as well! I have turned away from other you tubers who have overly staged and fake feeling homes. Keep it up!! :)
Bathrooms can attract so much clutter because we're always adding new things without taking out the old! Thanks Steph for the great reminder to do what I can with the time and energy I have today. I appreciate your authenticity and fresh approach to decluttering!
We have one full bath for my family of 5. Sometimes it's rough, but honestly... I love it. Less to clean, less space to clutter up 😅 we had to get creative with space and storage, but it works!
I've been decluttering for a while. My hubby needs nice shirts. I asked him to go shopping with me to choose some clothes. To my surprise, he said yes this time. He found 8 shirts and 2 pair of shorts. We washed the new clothes. We went into the closet to put them up on hangers & there was no room for them. He decided to declutter what didn't fit him or he didn't like. I keep a cardboard box in corner of our closet for donationd. He filled it & had to find another box. He donated 52 shirts. We both feel so much better walking into our closet. It's like a breath of fresh air when you see what you've accomplished in a declutter. Thanks for your videos.
My master bathroom definitely needs a little TLC! We custom-built our house eight years ago. My master bathroom is a beautiful room. I have a large linen closet that goes from floor to ceiling. And I have a long vanity top with two sinks. In the vanity we have nine drawers along with the under sink cabinets. The bottom part of my linen closet has six nice deep draws. I have been putting off this job as it seems so daunting! Well, here goes! There is no time like the present. Let's get her done. Thanks for the encouraging motivation!!💖
I finished going through drawers and cabinets in kitchen. Decluttered a box full of things. And now I went through bathroom cabinet and drawers. There is a lot more space in the cabinets now. And the drawers are more organized. Thank you, Steph!
"Every bath is special" reminds me of my mom telling me to use up all that pretty childhood stationary instead of saving it for a special occasion. Just use it up! 🌈
I used to have hundreds upon hundreds of eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers, lipsticks. Now I have about one- two of each, and 1 eyeshadow palette- I’ve NEVER missed any of it!
Absolutely loving this we’ve got one more day or maybe two to go in the kitchen and we are done we don’t have anything for the bathroom to unclutter in fact everything is in the hallway closet or downstairs in our prep pantry. We just restocked on shampoos and conditioners body washes toothpaste toothbrushes mouthwash all of the essentials that we need for our bathroom I am getting cleaning caddies for each one of my children so they can have their own personal care in a cleaning caddy and take it to the bathroom every time they need to use their items when they’re in the bathroom helps to keep clutter out of the bathroom we won’t have a ton of shampoo conditioner or body wash bottles open at once everybody gets their own scent takes her caddy to the bathroom when they take a shower brush your teeth do their hair whatever put it back in their caddy and put it back into their closet in their room that way all the mess is cleaned up taken care of nothing is left around in the bathroom and we change out the small wastebasket every week. This is proving to be a game changer when it comes to keeping the bathroom tidy and neat and then when the kids need to refill any of their personal care hygiene products they can go down to the basement grab what they need off the shelf refill their caddy we go through that once a month to see if anybody needs anything refilled whatever gets refilled I just add to my list on my next shopping list and re-purchase as needed this is an amazing series thank you so much for doing it it’s keeping my butt in check and I just finished my top cabinets yesterday bottom cabinets are almost done will be finished today drawers are almost done and we’re bringing up two shelf systems to put into my kitchen to re-organize a lot of pantry needs.
This is actually fun and motivating for me. I had an idea- I wonder if you could create a hashtag ie #StephSecretSlobDeclutters where next time you do this we could all post our Before + Afters! :)
Prior to covid I use to wear a lot of makeup. Once when covid hit I had to wear a mask all the time at work so I wore less makeup. I also use to love Ulta and bought a lot. Now, I don't use as much makeup and got rid of a lot. Simplifying is the best. Thanks Steph for this series! Great motivator. 👍
I declutter the bath room often….. it’s pretty minimal already but my teenage boys tend to take things out and then put them away in all kinds of strange places. So it always feels good to put things back where they go. 🤗
The bathroom was one of the first areas I went minimal in years ago. Surprisingly it has held up! I have just a few makeup items and minimal hair items. I’m down to just one type of lotion. I have a sm pantry closet near by the houses all the cleaners and back stock of all things bathroom. I totally have enjoyed my minimal bathroom cabinet. This year I’m considering painting the inside white as the dark brown is hard to see things. Also found a sm pop light I will install. I just went thru the cabinet and only found one thing that didn’t belong. So wish I could manage this kind of zen in the rest of my house! Thanks Steph for keeping us on track! 🌸🌷🌸🌷🌸🌷
Ugh, bathroom cabinets are the bane of my existence. It’s the one place where everything seems to accumulate without any effort on my part. Thanks for the inspiration to get this done.
I use a sm square glass jar and fill it up as needed. It doesn’t have a lid but is inside the cabinet. I have a matching jar to house all the hair rings and clips. The jars are rather heavy at bottom and don’t slide around. 😃
I love that you say to use your special bath stuff everytime you take a bath! A few years ago I finally broke free from the mentality to save it for a special day or whatever and I used some fancy bubble bath liquid that I had been given in HIGHSCHOOL. Hahaha cant believe I basically hoarded it that long... just live in the moment!
The bathroom was my favorite to clean growing up. I'd volunteer to do it for chores. I loved getting a qtip out and getting to work. We only had one bathroom for 6 people so none of us had a ton of stuff. Those clear shoe boxes with lids were great for keeping things separated.
Thanks so much for the bathroom declutter. That really is one of the places where nearly empty containers, unwanted toiletries and used toothbrushes tend to hang out!
Steph, you are making this decluttering down to earth (Very Relatable)! It always amazes me how much clutter I find even when I think there will not be that much. Thanks for all the things you do!
Today I ended up focusing on my kids’ bedroom and playroom again. There was more in there to clean out than I first realized. It’s nice to be able to pass things to nieces and nephews that my kids enjoyed but eventually out grew.
I can honestly say my hubby has more toiletries then I do. He’s got a large variety of beard products and he uses them all. I moved my overflow into my hall closet that has organizational bins in it. Bathroom looks amazing now! ❤️ Loving the de-clutter challenge!
I pulled everything out of both bathrooms so that I could get a gander on just how much stuff we actually had! Eek! But yay for finding lost nail clippers! Thanks, Steph, for the daily motivation!
Busy day of errands and appointments, but I know just the spot to do a quick declutter. The area under my daughter's bathroom sink needs a quick check and tidy for sure. Thank you for the motivation and reminder that even a few minutes makes a difference and all those add up!
I am amazed at how you can keep coming up with different categories to declutter. This one is the one that feels the most overwhelming for me, but we'll get there little by little.
Ty Steph for all your hard work, you are such an inspiration. I've been watching for maybe 2wks and I'm taking my baby steps, getting my routines and occasionally getting a hot spot or a declutter in there.I so much appreciate you showing your real home with real clutter and seeing you tackling it showing me that it can be done! Again, truly inspiring, you are a gem.
I love "every bath is special". You just gave me some motivation to use up some eye masks and other items that I'm saving for some unknown special occasion. Thanks for this!
I haven't worn makeup in a long time. I was going thru a few of my makeup bags and found some stuff I grabbed that my Mom loved from her house after she passed away 9 years ago. YIKES. That of course went in the trash. Now I can give a makeup bag to two of my granddaughters who are in competiive cheer for their makeup.
I only decluttered my bathroom vanity cupboard just over a week ago! YAY! I've decided I need to do the decluttering challenge in much smaller chunks & continue into May to reduce my fatigue levels as I have CFS/ME. I'm not giving up on decluttering though as I've learned through illnesses that baby steps get you a long way over time! I'll get there eventually!🥰 Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
I appreciated the reminder that every bath is special and to use the fun stuff! I also plan to divide my “use every day” makeup from other makeup-type items.
Now I know what I’m doing tomorrow.decluttering my 2 bathrooms. I love the idea of donating to a womens shelter. Since the Pandemic started ,I almost never wear makeup,I just do my skin care. Btw,that shade of pink really pops on you!
I have been focusing on using up as many products as possible in my home, rather than buying more things. I found that I had "saved" special makeup or lotions, and some were starting to separate or not work as intended. I really want to get some good out of these things before they are no longer usable. I am also using up cleaning products, and will greatly downsize the number of things I buy when my current stash is used up. Thanks so much for this Declutter Challenge! I am working hard on decluttering my entire home!
This video series reminds me of that quote "There is only one way to eat an elephant: one bite at a time." Decluttering is a series of small do-able steps... Thank you for this reminder.
One of the few places where I can almost call myself a minimalist. I don't bring a lot new in this category, only to replace what is finish. Only one or two little things sometimes needs to be decluttered.
I only decluttered one thing, after decluttering all of my bathroom stuff in February and only brining new toothpaste, toothbrush, a brush and soap in - I actually voluntarily threw away the old brush before I unpacked the new one! I’m so proud I did that.
Hahahaha-I’ve just left the bathroom after going through the drawers and cupboards, having been spontaneously struck to streamline the items and have a more pleasant experience. What a hoot to sit down to take a few moments for myself and this is todays video. Brilliant! 😎💗
Thank you for drawing my attention to yet ANOTHER area of my home that could use decluttering! Today is very busy, but I’ll go through my makeup bag quickly (very little to declutter, like you I have just what I need to do the same routine every day) and the dreaded drawer of dried toothpaste!😊 I KNOW without even looking that the drawer organizers that hold our toothbrushes need a good scrub.
This is been something that I grab one or two things and toss every time I go to the bathroom! Today I will do some more… but I actually have hubs helping with big major project today YAYAYAY! Decluttering is definitely happening here!!!
I decluttered my son's bathroom today since I did mine recently. He participated by me asking if he uses something or not. Everything that was a no was trashed or donated. Easy and done in 15 minutes!
Great video as always! I cleaned out three drawers. Put the travel stuff away with the travel stuff, threw away some old makeup, threw away wrappers and reorganized a few items. This is so much more fun when doing it with someone. Thank you!
I so love your attitude...you're all about progress, not perfection (which I think you've said that). I can have a perfectionist mentale and I my "theme for this year" is BE INTENTIONAL...so I'm being intentional to NOT do things perfectly (all or none attitude) but rather to do well "a little at a time".🥰
I was surprised at the amount of extra I could let go of. I overstocked in the last two years and it’s gotten out of control. I’m back to what I need, and it’s all refreshed now. Thanks for the motivation.😁
This is one area that I keep putting off. Thanks for the motivation to get it done. I bought a small, clear drawer container to hopefully prevent my current “out of sight, out of mind” situation.
Since I only own one eyeliner, one eyeshadow quad and one mascara, the make-up sorting was pretty easy! I had completely gone through all of the shelves, drawers and cupboards in my bathroom about a month ago and cleaned every surface, so that was a quick "job" too. Kind of like a day off. :)
Mission complete! I got rid of a couple of products that I said I'd use up last time I decluttered and hadn't, and a few empties. I like giving the drawers a good wipe out whilst decluttering too! Thanks Steph!
Ooh a good reminder. My bathroom has a cabinet that is bursting at the seams and I just haven't taken the time to organize it. Off to the bathroom I go! 🏃♀️
We’ve been following along and decluttering our whole house. We took a van full of things this weekend to the thrift. Our house feels so wonderful now. Yesterday my 8 yr old daughter had a little extra time and she told me she was going to tidy her clothes. It’s been so awesome to see the kids getting into it too. Thx!
Today I cleaned behind the dryer. There were a lot of dust and spider web. And I found my little dogs coat. She turned 14 years old, and past away in 2017. My bathroom is ok organised, because I decluttered some time ago. ❤️
Since the start of the pandemic I pretty much stopped using all makeup except occasional eyeliner and mascara. This video inspires me to want to at least remove the extra makeup from the bathroom (that I would still put on if we did family pictures or maybe a night out) and put it somewhere else so I have easier access to the few things I use.
I had to clean out under the bathroom sink this weekend following a visit from the plumber. I found a bottle of conditioner that had to be at least 7 years old and made a move with us...ugh! Found some super old sunblock as well.
So I have been super time poor with work and volunteer work during this challenge...so I broke the rules and spent the last 3 days watching and completing Junk Drawer, Books, Linens, Outerwear, Shoes, Emails, Fridge, Freezer, Paperwork, Clothing, Hobbies, Decor, Wallet/Purse and Toys. Partial Kitchen and closet...these might be my BIG THING. I'll get to my cords, pantry and cleaning products during the whole kitchen and closet. I was able to complete the challenge pretty easily as I have followed you for sometime so declutter quite regularly, however always find more to purge. Feels great.
This is the best-organized area in my house. I bought clear acrylic bins and everything has a “home”. If it doesn’t fit, I don’t keep it. Maybe not perfect, but perfect for me!
You could try popping your skin care container next to your makeup bag in the cupboard, then you just just pull the whole container out when it’s time to do your face. Thanks for more great motivation!
So thankful for your simple videos that are giving me motivation to clean, and declutter and maybe even share my own journey. Your videos are a fresh air to my youtube feed. ☺️
For me it’s all the little girls’ stuff. All the hair stuff, especially. But bins are my best friend. I utilized bins to categorize items to keep them separate and make them easy to pull out.
I love how you think out loud so that we can understand the thought process and how to process and decide what to declutter and keep.
For real!
Decluttered and cleaned my freezers. Thanks for motivation.
I love how real and practical this declutter series has been. You’re keeping it simple and not so over the top.
I like how your house looks like a home people actually live on and not a “display home” like other videos. Plus your clothes alway look so cute and comfy ❤
Love : “Doing what I can with the time and energy I have.” Great reminder for a perfectionist like me.
Enjoy all your ideas and especially “declutter your own stuff”. Other household members will catch on in time. ☺️
So nice of you to be so considerate of your husband’shis feelings about
Love your channel! Lost my husband in January and need some inspiration to get my life moving again. THANK YOU!
I love that you always wipe out each drawer! That may be biggest takeaway from this month honestly
Bathrooms always seem to accumulate stuff without you realising it. It’s so refreshing once it’s cleared out and organised. It was definitely a space that needed it today! Thank you.
It’s so satisfying to see another person decluttering!
It’s refreshing to watch a Canadian channel and recognizing brands of products🙂
I have been feeling so inspired by these! I recently went through my bathroom and decluttered everything! I've been slowly going through each category in my house. Recently did my books, then the pantry and doing the baking pantry this week. I am loving all of these videos, thank you!!!
A great reminder to go through spaces again even if we've done them in the recent past. Clutter and products we don't use accumulates very quickly!
You're always so cheerful! I appreciate that! Good job getting through your house, too.
It's amazing how much we can accumulate in our homes without realizing it. I'm starting my bathrooms now. Thank you Steph! 😊
Steph, you are making this decluttering sooo doable and you are so darling to watch! Thanks for all your help! 💖
Thanks, Steph. You've proved that no matter how well we keep our spaces decluttered, we can always find something else that needs to go!
I have enjoyed clearing up the clutter.

It’s always so crazy how frequently I have to declutter the bathrooms. They truly do catch a lot during every day life.
My master bathroom definitely needs a little TLC! We custom-built our house eight years ago. My master bathroom is a beautiful room. I have a large linen closet that goes from floor to ceiling. I have some makeup I need to replace before I get rid of it. Once again, feeling inspired, but still sick....one of these days I'll feel better. :)

Bathroom done! I can't believe how good it looks when I open the drawers and cabinets now!! Every time I go in there I smile...
This Spring Declutter series has been great. With four bathrooms, I had plenty to do with today's tasks. Thanks Steph. Glad you keep it simple.
I love the idea of doing just one space or drawer if that’s all there is time for. Eventually it all gets done.
I declutter the bath room often….. it’s pretty minimal already but my teenage boys tend to take things out and then put them away in all kinds of strange places. So it always feels good to put things back where they go. 🤗

Ugh, bathroom cabinets are the bane of my existence. It’s the one place where everything seems to accumulate without any effort on my part. Thanks for the inspiration to get this done.
I find Q-tips difficult to keep sanitary after opening the container. I put them in a covered glass jar and they stay in one place as well.
Me too, I use cleaned out candle jars.
I use a sm square glass jar and fill it up as needed. It doesn’t have a lid but is inside the cabinet. I have a matching jar to house all the hair rings and clips. The jars are rather heavy at bottom and don’t slide around. 😃

Loving the de-clutter challenge!
I like that your so honestly real life. Function over form. So glad you’re not buying stuff to succeed and keeping it inspirational for most people
I pulled everything out of both bathrooms so that I could get a gander on just how much stuff we actually had!
"Everything else can say goodbye..."
Love it! Good reminder Steph, thank you.
You are so right! Decluttering Even one drawer or cabinet helps! It save so much time in the morning when I can find all of my stuff I need 😅
I am amazed at how you can keep coming up with different categories to declutter. This one is the one that feels the most overwhelming for me, but we'll get there little by little.
And just like that, you found a container! Its going to feel so nice to have such a high traffic space cleared out. Nice job!
Ty Steph for all your hard work, you are such an inspiration. Another good place to declutter by using up! Last bits of product, forgotten face masks and bath bombs... I'm getting so pampered this week! 🤩
YIKES. Every bath/shower is a special occasion! Absolutely true.

I appreciated the reminder that every bath is special and to use the fun stuff! I also plan to divide my “use every day” makeup from other makeup-type items.
The clutter just sneaks up on me despite trying to keep to a minimum.
Thanks for the motivation.
Yes!!! Use the pretty lotions, the fun bath bombs, etc. We ARE special and deserve this ME time!!!! Thank you for the reminder!!!
Now I know what I’m doing tomorrow.decluttering my 2 bathrooms. I love the idea of donating to a womens shelter. Since the Pandemic started ,I almost never wear makeup,I just do my skin care. Btw,that shade of pink really pops on you!

Oh man. Bathrooms. There's always stuff hiding in cabinets! Thanks for the motivation to work on this today.
One of the few places where I can almost call myself a minimalist. I don't bring a lot new in this category, only to replace what is finish. Only one or two little things sometimes needs to be decluttered.
What a good day to do this, I always try to clean up my drawers when it's bath night for kiddo, two birds, one stone!
I only decluttered one thing, after decluttering all of my bathroom stuff in February and only brining new toothpaste, toothbrush, a brush and soap in - I actually voluntarily threw away the old brush before I unpacked the new one! I’m so proud I did that.

I need to start using the special bath things all the time. As a mom of 3 any bath is special me time. 😊
Thx!
It is always amazing how fast stuff accumulates.
Purged and treated myself with some hanging acrylic organizers for the side of the drawers ❤️ I’m
In love!!
Decluttering bathrooms and medicine cabinets. It's amazing how many half used products I have that I will never use and that are old!
The ✂️thing is so me! I always find them everywhere when I'm decluttering.
LOL, your husband's clippers crack me up!!! Now that's resourceful!!!
I love how you make things so doable and realistic!
