Hi Elena, I’d love to help you scale your social media and TH-cam channel to unprecedented heights by crafting a unique editing style that others will rush to imitate. I’m confident in delivering results that will set you apart,so much so that if we don’t exceed your expectations, you can end our partnership immediately, no questions asked!
Hi I was able to successfully join the program. I used my tik tok and only have about 200 followers, but one of my videos has gotten over 400k views. Hope this helps! Now need to post videos and hope I can start earning
Just subscribed! I'm from the Philippines and came back recently from a cruise ship job. I've been wanting to shift in earning money online so I can stay with my family. Very lucky to stumble upon your videos. I will continue to learn and if you need Virtual Assistants, I'm willing to work as an intern. God bless!
You don’t need to buy the product off Amazon. It’s literally anything you have or your family and friends got. Reviews will definitely be better if you actually use them of course.
Hi Elena - I’m new to your channel and a big fan! You are proof that really anything is possible if you put your mind and effort into it. From what I can tell you have four major jobs/income streams. I’ll list them below in the order that I think that they provide the most income in your pocket. Please correct me if I got the order wrong or if I missed some of your jobs 😂… 1) Software Engineer 2) Amazon e-commerce 3) Amazon Influencer 4) TH-cam/IG/social media influencer At some point I’m guessing software engineer job will take too much time from your other income streams and the side hustles will be your main hustle 😊 Keep it going! - With ❤ Rikki
Hi Rikki, thank you for stopping by! You are right for the most part. Right now, my full-time is table and bringing in the most in income. My side hustles are starting to pick up more speed literally in the last few months. I do have other side hustles I am starting but they are still baby projects and not bringing in anything yet. I will be talking more about these different income streams and documenting my journey to growing them in the next few months!
Just doing some basic math: At 300 videos per $1000 earned, assuming it takes about 1 hour in total to produce each video, you’re essentially making $3.33 per hour. If you can squeeze the production time down to 30 minutes per video, that’s still only $6.67 per hour. I suppose that truly does put being an Amazon Influencer deep into the “side hustle” category. However, is that return worth the amount of time and effort you’ll need to put into just being accepted into the program? Not to mention, putting your likeness out into the public, which comes with its own set of risks. It feels like there are probably more lucrative side hustles out there, as you have featured on this channel. This comment isn’t meant to deter anyone but instead offer some insight into what it might look like compared to what it breaks down into an hourly rate.
@@ApprenticeDiary Right but are we reviewing the videos before we post them? If so, that's at least 60 seconds per video. Are we traveling somewhere to find products to review? A friend's house, family's house? If so, that travel time and cost is part of the equation. Are we recording separate voice-overs for any of the videos? If so, that time plus the time to edit that voice-over into the original video is part of equation. It becomes even more complicated when we're talking about creating a whole online social media presence just to get accepted into the program. The time to entry could take months. The effort required to create that presence is essentially unpaid. So that cost would need to be included into the equation in order to have a true assessment of cost of entry. Again, this isn't a deterrent or an attack. I love your videos. I find them so full of helpful information. I also feel like your videos are known and loved because of your transparency. Including this information, or at least an average for the true production cost, is probably pretty important. Especially since many people watching these videos are probably brand new to this and aren't experienced at making review videos. I realize that an hour per video is probably way off but it's important to have the conversation and to set proper expectations.
@@ragtop63Totally relevant questions, and yes the effort to get acceptance into it does seem to far outweigh the benefits, given we have to put so much time and energy to make something even substantial out of this. There's far more lucrative ideas than this.
@@ragtop63 the most appealing part about this whole thing is that the videos continue to pay her revenue each month. Not just one time. So yes it might seem like a lot upfront but those videos will continue to pay her whether she creates more or not. Yes, it’s more competitive and your video might not get the rotation on the carousel. Either way, if it’s a high ticket item, it’s worth doing. If under $40 then I will usually skip.
Hey im really interested how you make the youtube videos, what program do you use, is there website that you use for clips and music? Or do you outsource it? Also how did you find good assistance in asia?
I could make one about this topic later. I do everything myself right now. Use adobe premiere, and envato for everything else. I can add my affiliate link for envato once I have it.
Hi just came across your Channel and became an instant subscribe! I’m very interested in doing online arbitrage and eventually doing the influencer program. Do you by any chance know if you could combine the two? Have you ever reviewed products you were selling yourself? Is this possible?
@ ah that’s a shame but better to be safe then sorry. Thank you so much for the quick reply and for all the advice you’ve shared! Wishing you all the best and I look forward to seeing your business continue to grow!
Hello Elena, if I understand correctly, if I have a social media account with a certain number of followers, then I can sign up for the influencer program? If I don’t have any social media accounts, it won’t work, right?"
You do need some sort of social media and ppl have gotten around by buying existing ones but not sure if it’s legit or if there is any issues since they are changing the rules of the program on a monthly basis. You will have to look into it by asking questions in groups like the fb group I mentioned in my description or any other that addresses this program.
I'm in the middle of the video so far, and if I don't have a social media following anywhere, does this side hustle need a following? Or which ones do not need one?
You need to have some sort of social media account with good size following as mentioned in the video. I have seen ppl do other strategies to get the following but not sure if they are valid. You can check the fb group I mentioned in the description and post there. Ppl are applying every day and those who got accepted recently could tell you better info as they change the rules literally every month.
your video popped up on my Home feed…good info for beginners! i’d like to add that unless selection requirements have changed, you don’t need a large following. i used my TH-cam channel when i had less than 400 subs and got approved. reading the FAQs provides details on things that could prevent your first three videos from being approved. wishing you continued success!!
Thank you!!! Yes, they seem to change requirements and placements literally every week. When I applied, I only had 600 followers on Instagram and that didn’t work. I also applied with another TH-cam channel with 9k subs and also didn’t work because of engagement as I haven’t posted on that channel for a while. I heard from a few ppl who just watched this videos that they applied with their Instagram and got accepted into the program already but they seem like they are all influencers with a couple of thousands followers already. Thanks for stopping by my channel!
Hey Elena, just happened to come across your video in TH-cam and im so glad that i watched it, it's amazing! Im from Malaysia and am also a full time worker but in the midst of confusion to earn extra income to pay my bills but dunno where to start. Do you think this Amazon influencer program or the amazon online arbitrage can apply for Asia countries like Malaysia? We don't really use Amazon at here though, online shopping platforms that we use are often Shopee / Lazada. Appreciate your opinion! 🙏
Yes, many ppl tap into the US market even when they arent in the USA. You can always apply for the Amazon Influencer program and see if you get accepted with your social media. That's definitely way riskier and easier to do. I bet many products you find in Asia might actually be sold on Amazon too. You will need to check by scanning the barcode or taking an image of the product and checking on the amazon shopping app.
Sorry it wasn’t very in-depth. I cannot screen capture the dashboard and go over the step by step as the program especially states we cannot do that. I gave enough info on how to get started and many ppl messaged me that they were able to join the program. You can search more about it on TH-cam.
For me, 30-45s of recording the product, 1min to use chatgpt or just ramble about why I like the product or what it is about. 1min voiceover Download from app and upload to my Mac and then upload to my Amazon storefront write a quick title for the review Search and tag the product on Amazon Hit publish. All in all, probably 10min max per video. Easier to just batch upload them all instead of doing one by one.
