Wow, this lady has been served well with excellent fishing guide & cameraman. what a beautiful river , fishing for steelhead over there : there is nothing better than that. Nice video, Thanks u guys.
+changmin chi You're welcome, thanks for watching! Make sure you check out "The Hunt for Egg Hunters" on this channel as well, which is a follow-up episode to this one.
+bizarrobaker For this steelhead fishery, our main line is usually 15lb test Maxima Ultragreen mono and we use 10 or 12lb test Maxima Ultragreen mono. Because the water is pretty swift in the stretch where we fished in this video, slightly heavier line is needed. Sometimes I will go down to 6 or 8lb test for leader in slower water where you have room to play the fish a little bit.
Thanks Syd! While I enjoy catching fish, I find that my true passion is actually to capture the action from behind the camera. I usually don't react to anything while filming so I can get the best shots, the excitement comes after the camera is turned off. :)
Roger Aye That's a Technium actually. I don't remember the model but I believe it is rated 12 to 20lb. I use the Clarus for steelhead as well, both are good choices.
You guys' videos are really nice but it seems like you like to focus on the person more so than the water, the area or even the fish itself. You only show the fish at the very last, while during the cast you just focus on the person. Wish it was more fish n less of people.. glean video, nice edits n wonderful place uve got.
We're always adjusting the style so thanks for the feedbacks. :) I think every video is a little different. Some video's focus is more on the people, than the fish, etc. Every aspect in fishing is special and we'd like to feature them all. :)
Really wish you’d quit naming rivers. Just puts more pressure on them. Guys like myself don’t like combat fishing. It’s nice to spend day on river without crowds.
that guide seems like tonne of fun to fish with.

I don’t agree. I think there’s a good mix of fish and people. Especially when the people involved are Kitty and Kevin.
