i have had more success on the salmon using Feather jigs, both float fish jigs and twitching jigs. My Chum Salmon jigs, the Dog Pounder, Pink sparkler and Rockstar are really all you will need for Chum, but tipping them with prawn will always get you even more fish, for the record, i dont tip my jigs for Chum and still slam them good. For Coho, they will eat float fished jigs well to, I have caught them on many colors. Tipping will help with them too, you can even tip with a small roe bag.
awesome stuff, Rod! i am going to grab a box of beads before the salmon season starts.
Thabks for the share. Do you mind sharing the setup(rod, line, reel etc)? Saw thats a clarus casting rod.
why don't you use a centrepin like all the cool kids?
5:08 prawn + pink worm; does that work well for coho/chum/chinook in the fall?

I prefer feather jigs for salmon, or beads or twitching jigs and spinners
