I once saw a review of this fan where the person said that it protected them by blocking a gunshot from coming through the window and possibly injuring them. We live in a safe and quiet neighborhood but last night some neighbors got into a domestic dispute. Someone pulled a gun and it went off. It went through their window and into our bedroom window. The bullet came about 2 feet from my head. It hit the metal front of the fan and then hit the hard plastic blades. The blades caused the bullet to ricochet in the opposite direction of me. There was no damage to our house at all other than window and the fan. I truly believe the metal case of the fan is what saved this from being much worse. Thank you so much for making such quality products. I'm a costumer for life.
Fans, boomboxes, and more I saw that. It is a very well built fan. The blades are pretty strong on these fans so it had to be a bad blow to break the blade.
I ordered a 5 blade Holmes pedestal from Best Buy last week since they’re on sale for $23. I’m interested to see how it is. You may want to check them out, it looks like something you might be interested in.
I can get behind it being plastic and cheap, however not with it being weak. This fan moves a great breeze for what it is and does so VERY quietly. I had this one borrowed along with another lasko 16” pedestal fan and I’ve already accepted I’m probably not getting either back. :)

I don’t have that one but I have used that one! It’s a good fan, but I missed when they had them as the 5 speed version.

How do you turn it on?
Um ok so when the last time i used this fan it worked nice and kept me cold. Now it’s making a very annoying noise. Does anyone have a fix for this

How to adjust the height..?!
If you twist the gray knob near the silver pole and black stand you can pull up the silver pole or push it into the fan’s base.

This fan is straight garbage. 3 tiny blades hardly make any wind. Cheap and it sucks

Fans Galore, LLC I took it back and got the similar Lasko fan at Costco. Same price and soooooo much better.
Laskos are good as well. I do notice they are a bit cheaper than these ones are. The bases are solid on these. But I get where you’re coming from.
