  • Video explains everything. A really good fan if you want something very power but not terribly noisy.

    *I like how quiet it is, how well it works and **Fastly.Cool** , This was perfect to help air out a guest room and to use instead of AC when I only want one room kept cool. Works great!*

    Oh neat! I used to have a Pelonis 18 inch stand fan with the same style of blades, but white. It had the 4-button speed controls, with white for off, grey for low, dark grey for medium, and black for high speed. It's good to see an old design still in use today. That proves that Midea did it right from the start.

      Yup! I remember those. The design is not much different at all. If anything, this is the electronic version. This design has been around for years and I really doubt its changing. They managed to get it right from the start.

    FYI, they make Toshiba microwaves, and are top-rated in their price category.

    Mine says put rear grill on motor housing then it says make sure the holes on the rear grill fit into the pegs on the motor housing. I see two little round pegs I guess sticking out and one flat little metal piece. I cannot figure out how to put the back grill on.

    Midea makes them for Walmart too. Midea is made better than by LASCO.

    Never thought I'd be looking for sounds of fans on TH-cam, but I guess here we are....
    Thanks so much for taking the time. This made my decision much easier. I'm going with this one, for the sound.

    Doesn't seem too loud which is what I'm looking for. Looks like a good value fan. Does the pole shake? Does it tilt downwards and upwards?

    Which dc motor pedestal fan would you say is your favorite?

    • @fansgalorellc621
      @fansgalorellc621  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I gotta say. The 28 speed Pelonis DC pedestal fan is my absolute favorite. It’s such a great fan.

    How does this fan compare to the Lasko 18inch Cyclone pedestal fan ?

  • @peregrintook9

    I am having trouble understanding how the motor attaches to the pole. Any help? The instructions say something about a tighten knob but I can’t seem to find that piece!

    • @fansgalorellc621
      @fansgalorellc621  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That part also confused me. The actual tightening knob has been replaced with a Phillips head screw, and that takes care of the actual tightening knob. Just unscrew, slide the fan on the pole, retighten, and you’re all set!

      @@fansgalorellc621 Hi. Old post, I know but I was hoping you had a suggestion. The Phillips head screw that is supposed to be the "tighten knob" on the fan I just bought is too small. Just slides right in the hole, won't tighten. Did you have an issue with yours, Thx

    4:26. Wow, that was a 20 second spin-down time! Impressive. The highest spin-down time I get from a basic Lasko box fan is around 16 or 17 seconds, no matter how much I try to clean and oil and re-align the bearings.

    I have a model similar to this but with a different design but with the same grills and blades but branded NOMA. NOMA is only sold here in Canada and I was just wondering on what you thought of me getting another portable fan for my collection and if I should get a curtain brand or something

    I’m thinking about buying the Pelonis FZ10-19JR 36 inch tower fan 🤔 any thoughts on that one?

    • @fansgalorellc621
      @fansgalorellc621  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I really can’t recommend tower fans because they are difficult to clean. With that said though, it’s not a bad option for a fan. You probably can get into it to clean it anyways knowing that Pelonis doesn’t use security screws yet. :)

    • @nathanielaranda8407
      @nathanielaranda8407 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fans Galore, LLC I have a love/ hate relationship with tower fans. I’m only considering a tower fan because I have limited space 🙂

    • @fansgalorellc621
      @fansgalorellc621  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s totally understandable! Not a bad fan. It’s decently priced, and does seem to move great air without being very noisy at all. I don’t think you can go wrong with that one.

    Can we turn it on without the remote control ? We had that but we lost our remote and we tried pressing the button on the fan but doesn’t work .

    • @fansgalorellc621
      @fansgalorellc621  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can. On the older models I believe the on/speed powered it up. And the new models like the one in the video just have a standalone button.
