I just saw your sign " I turn wine into quilts" love it & now quite aware of the wine to quilt project ratio I have!🤔 Learning so much....thank you for the encouragement & instruction.
Thanks Angela. Damn corona but I finally got my pack today so I can make it up and start quilting soon. Thankfully it’s not the end of the challenge yet.
I can't wait for Taj to arrive! I tried quilting the arcs section with Elvira and did okay on the first (big) round of the flower....not so great after. (lots of laughs). I'd love an arc ruler but I really don't have that in my budget. I'm waiting for Taj to finish the arcs (I think that should work--right???) and to have fun getting "caught up" and having more laughs at myself! Thanks, Angela!
I debated about buying Taj, but so glad I did! I quilted with him on a different quilt and everything looked great! I can't wait to try the pointy part!. Thanks Angela for all your time to put these videos together. It has given me more confidence in my ruler work!
I agree. I'm having fun with varied results. However I am proud of many of my designs - even if I copied someone else. I probably should have started with the first challenge and worked my way up!
First, thank you Angela for all your amazing tutorials and for sharing your experience. I have a question & can't find today's chat to ask. I'm relatively new to quilting & purchased a sit down longarm, it doesn't have a stitch regulator and I'm having a terrible time trying to get even stitching, do you recommend the add on stitch regulator for these situations? It's really getting disheartening and I'm too much of a perfectionist to tolerate it. I'm wondering if it just suddenly clicks and stitches start looking nice. UGH!!!
This is so fun! I’m a first-time FMQ, not to mention first time with rulers. I’m having trouble with the repositioning. When I start to sew again and the needle pulls up after the reposition, the quilt jumps away from the needle a little and I get a jagged bobble. Any tips? Or is it just practice, practice, practice?
Is the TAJ only for short shank machines?? I have a baby lock destiny and it has a long shank. I have a different brand of rulers and the packaging all says long shank. I like the TAJ however I don't want to add one more ruler that I can't use. I really enjoy your work!
I love your videos. This is off this topic, but I'm hoping for your help. Could you help me to get the pattern and material amounts needed for your Modern fence rail quilt. It was a great video on Midnight Quilter. The link doesn't work any more. I really wanted to try this pattern.
Hi Linda! If you go to Craftsy.com and do a search for midnight quilt show. Look for season 1. At the bottom of that page is a “Bonus” section. The pattern is located there. I checked and it is there. Good luck!
How would you quilt a 9” border. Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I always learn so much.
Thanks!
Wow! Great video. Can't wait to be able to sit down and try points!
I also debated about Taj, but now I will invest in him. Thanks for ALL you do!
Thanks YOU for all your support!
I love motifs
They are one of my favorites too!!
If you use the cutout center of Taj to make the flower motif, what size square does it fit into?

Do we use the same sort of offset for Chevy? At the point?
Yes! It works exactly the same way. I filmed that but I didn't have enough time to include it....I'll address it during my love chat on Thursday
I found those smaller petals on the center motif quite challenging. The quilt just wanted to go an different direction,LOL.
HAHAHA! Me too! I practice on a small sandwich first and success - the the drag of the quilt gets me every time!
