@@thatconman751 I personally never had that problem, in fact I kept undershooting the wall jumps without the badge (thus needing more jumps to climb and more precious time wasted)
Today I finally completed this level and want to share my amazing story of beating it! The thing to start with is that I'm playing with Ryujinx on my dead PC. The game goes at 15 FPS, and all music levels don't work properly - the music goes faster than all the stuff and ends earlier. And the colour blocks are tied to music in this level. You may already guess, what is wrong... The "wave" of four blocks goes too fast, so that you can't catch up. I tried to use different badges to save time, but no Crouching High Jump/Double Jump/Floaty High Jump helped. The Safety Bounce could not help also, because lava stops rising at at 0:37 near under this two-blocks high green wall. The problem is that even with Jet Run equipped I couldn't keep up to the blocks - they switched off under my feet, that at some point I had to pass at least one "wave" and get on the next. And the farthest point I could reach with Jet Run is shown at 0:50 - the four cubes (light blue, green, yellow, orange). As soon as music had ended already, only the blocks of mentioned colours remained switched on. So I figured out that I need something else. I needed to climb a wall. Two things could help me: Grappling Vine/Boosting Spin Jump. I remapped my buttons in that way, that spinjump button could be pressed alongside direction, jump and shoot buttons. (For me worked "6","+","-" on the numpad and "A","S"; for some reason, they can receive the input at the same time) I got myself a pair of Bubble Flowers to save my time with bubble jump cuts and started nailing it. The most important moments were: at 0:17 jump from red and blow a bubble max high, jump on the bubble, use ability to grab the first Starcoin immediately, wall kick from that blue wall, jump medium high on light blue, blow a bubble (carefully to not accidentally pop it!), jump on it, wall kick from red platform, make my way to the top wall-kicking it, use ability to get on the light blue platform between vertical sections (0:29), wall kick from green, grab the second Starcoin. From this point Grappling Vine method started to give away malfunctions, as being too slow. Also it's very fiddly to get your wall kicks a right height to provide that finicky vine drag you on to the blue platform midway. ("Helicoptering" is a technique when you blow a bubble and spinjump on it, and this is repeated as like you ascend a staircase in the air). The best I got with vine is "helicoptering" to the final ground wall right after grabbing the third Starcoin and... Could not proceed. There are ledges, and I was not on time to make it past them right, and the Wonder had gone off, all the blocks disappeared and I got stranded on that wall under the big ledge (at 0:50). Vine method gave me more unsuccessful attempts for being more demanding and slow, it was rare times when I managed to get past the row of blocks at 0:34, I tried to pass a wave in the place at 0:32 by jumping and falling to the lower floor, "helicoptering" from the start of 0:34 row, but nothing really worked. So I left the vine and turned my attention to the Boosting Spin Jump. It worked pretty well as after collecting the second Starcoin I could Immediately skip to the purple platform at 0:34 from underneath. It was quite hard to get on it and immediately jump from the edge of it to the violet platform, sometimes I got left underneath, sometimes I ran off the edge (here the spinjump/special ability button can help, if you step on the purple platform but wasn't on time to jump, the ability got restored and you can jump out of the gap, and if you were on time, you'll just do a spinjump). I learned to get to the four blocks at 0:50 by "helicoptering" there from the orange cube at 0:45. I was bad at bubble ascend technique, especially after such hasty race against the time. So I found myself a "dojo" where I could practice climbing with bubbles safely. The good levels for this were the "Upshroom Downshroom" with its high stack of pumpkins and "Robbird Cove" with its place where you see Robbirds the second time. I sharpened my skill to jump on the bubble and immediately blow another and getting on it with boosting spin jump, and went to the level. ... After some more attempts I finally did it, but climbing the last wall took me too much time and the Wonder gone off. I bubble-jumped my way to the end, registered my three collected starcoins touching the top of the flagpole, but the Wonder Seed still remained a challenge to get. As I didn't need to visit every Star coin from now on, I decided to continue experimenting with the Grappling Vine, thinking it will help me to climb faster in the end but... It still was too slow and fiddly. *Then I invented my super-technique of fast bubble wall climbing:* Bubble Flower and Boosting Spin Jump badge needed (When wall is on your right) 1) Stand against a wall facing off of it (left) 2) Jump high in the place and blow a bubble (left) 3) Jump onto that bubble using boosting spin jump 4) Immediately as you are about to pop it, blow a bubble to the wall (right) 5) Get onto that bubble, and at the highest point of the jump blow a bubble off of the wall (left) 6) Immediately kick off the wall to your bubble (you may use boosting spin jump) 7) Immediately as you are about to pop it, blow a bubble to the wall (right) Hold jump when doing bubble jumps all the time! You need to learn how mid-air turn works and when you are able to blow a bubble - this is impossible during the action of boosting spin jump, so test it and get used to it, feel it. Then you may repeat it as many times as you need. I applied this technique when got to the last orange cube at 0:51. And jumping on that bubble I blew in point 7) was enough for my purpose - I finally scaled that wall on time and got my Wonder Seed, even with more than about five seconds remaining (cause I saved up some time not hunting for the already collected Starcoin №3 and passed just one wave at 0:45, after what immediately started "helicoptering" from the red platform at 0:45) I am so happy I fully finished this level today! Do I need to explain that it took me a week or more and 1000+ attempts, a good half of which were failed because of PC freezes? This level became a much more than 5 star difficult to me. But arrr! I saw it beatable, I like the challenges and didn't give up!
If this powerup comes back in a future game, it'll probably get nerfed so you can only jump on a few bubbles at a time before having to touch the ground.
Probably not. This isn't a use that most people can get out of the Bubble Flower. You have to go out of your way to learn this and most casual players won't, so I don't see Nintendo having an issue with it.
"Climb to the beat without using the Wonder Flower" 1. You immediately activated the Wonder Flower so you did use it. 2. There was a splice halfway through the video making it unclear if this is 1 attempt or 2 attempts spliced together 3. You didn't even complete the level
1. I named it using the flower not getting. You have to grab the flower to start scrolling the screen. And I never use any of the blocks the flower spawns 2. This was 2 different attempts. I don't have a capture card so I'm limited to the 30s recording time on the switch. 3. Same reason as 2. I'm limited to 30s videos. As soon as I landed I needed to record to fit most of the run in the 30s

I was able to grab the wonder seed at the end by using the Spring Feet badge as it’s extra height on each bubble bounce let’s you climb faster
