    I bought mine a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it. Anneals each case in less than 5 seconds.

    What a great little machine. I must look into the price of it plus shipping to Australia.

    With this type of machine you don't have to worry about melting rotating drums when you're doing short brass like 300 blackout or 221 fireball but the drawback is you have to load each one manually. I am going to make one.

    Did you ever look into the marker holder again? Not that I need it but I’d like to know!

      I did not. Mainly because it wasn’t of much value to what my needs are.

      Yep, still unsure what that's for unless it's to mark the cases that are annealed?

    Have you played with the two burner setup yet?

    • @stricklyreloading8494
      @stricklyreloading8494  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have not as of yet. It’s so fast with a single flame that I’m not sure it’s worth the trouble! Haha

    With this machine can you annealing the 416 Barrett Brass?

    • @stricklyreloading8494

      I’m not familiar with that round, but if the case head is not bigger than .610”, it should fit when you have no inserts installed.

      now there is a version that can accept 416

    Does not come with a power adapter?

    • @stricklyreloading8494
      @stricklyreloading8494  ปีที่แล้ว

      correct. you do have to purchase your own 12v 1a power adapter

    • @awengel82
      @awengel82 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stricklyreloading8494 actually it's a 12v, 2A DC adapter - not 1A.

    • @stricklyreloading8494
      @stricklyreloading8494  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@awengel82 who told you this, because I spoke directly with the maker of the annealer on the phone and he said 1A?

    • @GavinM161
      @GavinM161 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does say "12V DC 2A with 5.5mm x 2.1mm jack" on the AGS web site but since all it has to do is turn a couple of motors 1A will probably work.

    I will be ordering one, not sure I need the V3 as the biggest cartridge I use is .308 althought they do a riser for it as well if needed, the original knob would work fine but I guess the digital display combined with the speed controller electronics make it more consistent... seems like a great guy as well so would like to put business his way, nice honest review bud... I would think you want the flame in the middle of the shoulder rather then bottom.

    I have one of the earlier versions and absolutely love it, so well made of stainless steel and works a treat and didn’t break the bank like some other brands! 🇺🇸🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

    I just got this version, but on research I found a flaw in the video. In a clarification video it stated "You do not want the flame to turn orange as this is metal burning off of your case". I see lots of videos on annealing but none clarify the correct judgement of when you have done it correct (Most just say it is done at this point).

    It’s stainless steel and aluminum.
    You don’t need to run them again to put a sharpie mark on your brass. Just use the bottom hole and mark them (mainly for people who want to make sure they get their fire formed brass back) and do it while you’re annealing. If you’re hearing them to where the glow or heat gets as low as the bottom sharpie hole, you’re hearing your brass way too much. lol

    Since when do you need to buy a power adapter you pay enough for the unit it doesn’t come with a power adapter really power adapters are cheap enough c’mon ppl 21st century

    • @agscustomparts
      @agscustomparts ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If I can clarify the thing about power adapters - I can supply you with the power adapter thats used in Europe. Then you would need an adapter from EU to US plug, which ranges $6-$10. US power adapter that can be obtained almost everywhere (I even saw them at Walgreens lol) are $5-$10 - that is why I opted not to provide one with the unit. I even searched for a supplier of the ones that are universal, but those cost well over 15 bucks in wholesale, and that would add up to the price. Just wanted to keep it affordable. But I am open to suggestions.
