When ppf and vpf can give you tax free returns of 7-8% and debt mutual funds give avg 8% returns with 20% tax with indexation, isn't it better to start with ppf and vpf first for the debt component?

I have a doubt - Is it fine to invest in so many mutual funds as shown? In this example, there are 10+ MFs listed. Do this diversification cause any bottleneck/ lack of profit in long run ?

I had this one doubt always Sharique bro. When the time comes, where you need money and all the funds are allocated in Equities, Debt and Gold, How do you redeem them? I have heard SWP for mutual funds, when it comes to Equities and Gold are we supposed to sell the stocks or Gold in SGB we were holding for a long time for capital appreciation.?
And another doubt is how do we dynamically allocate the funds we invested, we redeem them and invest them to a new fund? Like as the age progresses, I sell a 100 shares of xyz company and invest that money in a debt or similar kind of securities?
When we reduce our portfolio risk as we age, should the future sip portfolio alone move to low risk or already invested funds at high risk portfolio should also be moved to low risk portfolio???

It is very important to remember in stock market that PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT THE INDICATION OF FUTURE RESULTS.
If not, how can we know growth and depreciation?
Not only the stock market but even real estate returns are not fixed.
Rightly said about FD. But what about NPS? Also for some people its a mandatory part too. So it would have been better of NPS also considered in calculation. Great guidance

Long term investment in any funds or ETFs that reflect the stock market will definitely give you manifold returns.. Because the economy keeps growing each year . You can check how indices have grown over the years. You don't really have to know much about stock market or fundamental analysis or technical analysis...Just keep investing consistently for say 20+ years and you will end up with really great returns..

Nippon India Small cap fund. I did an SIP in it (Rs. 1000 per month) starting from March 2018. Continued it for 35 months. (Therefore total 35000 Rs invested till date), and then stopped further investment in it. As of now, its value is 85,000 Rs. I.e.. CAGR of 26% per year.
