This video is a sample from our upcoming CLCOR (350-801) Video Training Series, which is being released February 2021.
Specifically, we'll consider the math behind bandwidth calculations, and discuss the theory surrounding the Regions and Locations features available on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
Regions allows us to "influence" (but not force) the selection of a CODEC (COder DECoder) within sites and between sites, while Locations is a Call Admission Control (CAC) mechanism that will limit the amount of bandwidth being used on the IP WAN to prevent an oversubscription of bandwidth.
    Enjoy!
