You wouldn't find a better lecture on networking than this. This teacher is beyond the best. The way he uses real world examples is amazing. I'm so grateful coming across this channel. Thank you Nick
WOW. I just want to say your lectures are so simple and easy to understand. I'm learning so much by your videos, other youtubers make everything so complicated and not fun at all. Best.
Thanks for sharing your lectures Nicholas. Your method of explanation is very simple and the examples you use to show analogy between networking concepts and how we interact everyday is really good.
Thank you so much Nicholas. You are talented to make the complicated topics simply to understand. I wish my teach at IT school could explain this as well as you.
Thank you for posting these vidoes online. You lectures are very easy to follow and I'm able to internalize the concepts and apply them. You are a very good teacher.
37:52 - 37:56 "What's the ps there? And it's not PostScript." Picturing myself being the humorous type of almost saying the latter even though I knew the answer (Per Second) but the instructor beats you to it.🤭 51:16 - 52:05 I think I might know someone.😅 We can also use a comma to separate the two - indicating the last name first, then the first name.😜😉
Hi Nicholas, You are doing a great job.... i like all your videos and all are just fantastic the way you are teaching. Can you please share some more videos regarding ccna ie RIP,OSPF working and all...will appreciate your response
Hey first off, thanks for all these great videos. I love your teaching style. Ive been arudying IT now for a little while now and I'm just wondering if videos like these are all still relevant with how fast technology moves. Is a lot of this stuff outdated or is a lot of it still in alignment conceptually with the tech world today? Thanks!
Sir why talks about CSMA/CD with network protocols...becuase media access controlled by MAC and network should be more concerned with IP right?...please explain this sir thak you

first of all thanks alot for lecture. its very good. and i have a question. On the video while your talking about about LAN. there is a switch which all pc's are connected they have ip adress. right?.right. what about switch it self. shouldnt it has an ip adress as well?
You're great! But man tell him to stop moving that camera It's driving me crazy! Every time he moves it, it takes time for the camera to focus. You are a great help to my career so far... :)
Man u are taking me to be interested for networking. Now this is the basic or there's more??? Plz help me I want to go on networking I like it 😊 thanks for this video and I wish if u can update me for more videos for beginners like me 😊
Ahmad Sos You should think about geting certified in CompTIA Network+. CompTIA just came out with a new exam for it called N10-006. The old one N10-005 will go away at the end of August 2015. Then there is CCNA certification from Cisco. Google for prepping for those exams.
Someone recommended this video to me by sending me the link to it but then I got here and I see it's a lecture given by some guy who has two first names. How can I trust someone who has two first names? I could never do that. I can't do it. I'll have find another video now.
+Senethys The OSI is generally a reference model in this context. The TCP/IP protocol has only 4 layers because the "Network Interface" response is the Data link and Physical Device (NIC) combined, then the Network layer of the OSI model is the "Internet", the Transport layers are the same, then the "Application" reposnse layer in the TCPIP protocol combines the Session, presentaton and Application" layers of the OSI model. The TCP/IP protocol stack is kind of like programming in C, whereas a guy who programs in assembler is the guy who has to use all 7 layers of the OSI because he is programming in assembly... Does that help..?
mmmh.. who made the subtitles please? obviously someone that hasn't got a clue what the teacher was talking about.. O even by someone that doesn't speak english?

How I wish this guy was my lecturer....
Same here! Amazing i can actually follow along and he's passionate
Thanks for sharing your lectures Nicholas. Your method of explanation is very simple and the examples you use to show analogy between networking concepts and how we interact everyday is really good.
man your lectures very straight forward, thanks for the simplicity
Thanks Nicholas Andre for posting this content. It's very thorough, and understandable.

Excellent lecture! Explains networking in a very clear and simple way. Thank you.
Thank you Nicholas. Your lectures really helped me understand the OSI and TCP/IP models.
Great great great lecture Mr Andre ; thank you for all the knowledge....
He knows how to make an entrance 😂❤❤
Great Lecture, thank you for sharing
Great explanation of networking, thank you!
good lecture
thank you for sharing your lectures, they are amazing
Mr. Andre, your method is amazing; thank you.
Thank you for sharing Lecture.
thanks for amazing explanation of networking...
impressive!
Thank you for posting your lectures, +Nicholas Andre
May God blessed you... Thank you
thanks Nicholas for the nice presentations i love it
brilliant nicholas ..great teacher......
He is God! Huge thanks to you, sir!
Absolutely loved the video. Excellent teacher & courser. Hope to find more videos from Andre
there are two forms of topologies; physical and logical
no two devices on the same network can have the same ip address
Perfect lecture! Thanks
i have to say you are much better teacher than my profs.
Nick can u please share a video on OSPF and redundancy protocols thanks.I will really appreciate it

wonderful method, thank you sir...

I like what i'm watching
What do you need for a network? At first a good teacher. Thank you Nicholas. I wish mine would explain the things as good as you.
That ending was incredible
Excellent Lecture
Time flies i watched this lecture 9 years ago...

Hello Nick Andre, thanks for these. Please post new content.
it's impressed!
Please Do Not Throw Salami Pizza Away - Awesome Lectures!
I wish my instructor made it this simple for me when I was in school
great instructor, still, you could start your lecture with a "Hello/Good Morning" ;)
good lesson i have ever lnd
Where do you teach? I wanna get enrolled!!
Is it possible to make ICND 1 playlist?? Really wants to learn Networking from you..
What is the name of all the courses he gives? computer programing? network? operating system?
thanks for the lesson a great help
I LOVE YOU MAN YOU ARE A SICK TEACHER!
So what if node 2 has the token but node 3 wants to send a message to node 1. Does it need to get the token from node 2 first?
I wish I had this guy as my teacher :)
first of all thanks alot for lecture. its very good. and i have a question. On the video while your talking about about LAN. there is a switch which all pc's are connected they have ip adress. right?.right. what about switch it self. shouldnt it has an ip adress as well?
Hacı ŞENEL
In some type of networking we assign an IP address to one the switch's vlans, but normally switch uses MAC address.

If OSI has 7 layers, why do we get 4 responses? (Which is what TCP/IP has).

+Tleilaxu Ghola No
He shouldn't be at a community college. I mean that in a good way.
Does anyone know where he teaches? What school?
Thank you.
thanks
In networking when there is a collision, we call that a Dip Shi*.
Do you still teach?
Which grade is he teaching?
Great lecture, but for the love of god, find and remove whatever is beeping in the background; third video you can hear it in.
First half = Clear / Second half = oh lord.
mmmh.. who made the subtitles please? obviously someone that hasn't got a clue what the teacher was talking about.. O even by someone that doesn't speak english?
OH MY GOD! The fucking camera work... AHHHHHHHH!!!
It's so annoying that cam focus!!!
Terrific lecturer! Terrible cameraman, or recording system, which is a shame
the camera is irritating why don't you keep it a bit far that covers the whole screen / whiteboard
He’s using a device that tracks him to be centered. The microphone around his neck
You have a whistling feed back on your audio, like a hearing aid hum.
Appreciate the lecture but i stopped watching because of the camera.
please ! get rid of who ever is operating the camera !!!!
Great Lecture
good lesson i have ever lnd
Thank you.
thanks
