Halsey is open about having had multiple miscarriages because of her endometriosis, open about her bisexuality, bipolar disorder and she’s also biracial (but white passing obviously) Halsey is also very open politically. I saw her live on tour last year for her most recent tour- she sounds exactly like the track. And during this song nightmare, she had a break where the instrumental played while statistics of abortions played on the screens. This was last summer when the reversal of Roe v wade protections was overturned and some states banned abortions. Halsey made them listen to this song twice. And later painted while performing and later auctioned those off for national abortion funds charity.
im not sure if either of you like nine inch nails but she made an album with trent and atticus and it is PHENOMINAL. I really think you guys would like it, even just if on personal time.
I'm looking forward to more Halsey reactions!! I'd recommend "Graveyard", "Without Me", "You should be sad", "Colors" and the whole "If I can't have love, I want power" album that would be better if listened all the way through at once

Halsey is my fav artist ❤❤ she’s an amazing person and so talented! She writes every word she sings, has a poetry book, gives back a lot. Every album she has aside from Manic are concept albums. For example, the album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom is based on baz luhrmann’s romeo and Juliet, but it’s her relationship with one ex dramatized to be in a romeo and Juliet world. Her most recent album, if I can’t have love, I want power she describes as a body horror album surrounding pregnancy and the scary and dark side of pregnancy and loss and pain, since the media just shows us the beautiful side usually. Halsey also has so many different sounds! she loves trying something from every genre. She even has a song where she screams/metal. She grew up listening to punk rock and pop punk. ❤
The comment about the "doctor"? Halsey is one of the few famous people (in any country) who has helped to bring awareness to some unusual diseases (even doctors don´t know much about them) like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, and POTS, and also endometriosis. Talking as someone diagnosed with most of those too I can totally relate (you feel more like in the mood to punch someone or setting the world on fire/cry like a baby for a month) and I´m really gratefull to her for going public with this (specially people with Ehler Danlos strugle a lot to get a diagnostic). It´s hell. Then add all the chovinistic stuff she has to deal with (like most female artists). Her live performances are really, really good.

Halsey live at Magnum is awesome. I saw her last year she is awesome live both voice and stage presence.
