    Those of us who watched him play at Purdue saw the steady improvement of his game over the course of his college career. He is incredibly athletic for a 7'4", 300lbs man. He is a throwback and comparable to the great big men who played in years past. If he stays healthy, he will be an all-star player for his entire career.

      You didn't have to go to Purdue to watch him play. I said it two years ago that we will have a role in the NBA. He protects the rim, rebournds, great footwork and scores in the post, can shoot FT's and he's a smart player. To see him shoot the 3, which doesn't surprise me, is cake icing. Good for him.

      I was obligated to not like Zack when he was in college because, well, he was the only monster in college who could push around our monster Kofi Cockburn lol! But all kidding aside I'm rooting for him and hope he sees all the success he deserves for his hard work.

    Just like he was in college, Zach will continue to get better and better as he understands his role and responsibilities in the NBA. This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Edey and as his career progresses he's going to get much better (barring injuries which is the only thing that may limit his play).

    Good video man. I'd like to add....Edey broke NBA records December 26th 2024 vs the Raptors! With 21 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks, Edey became just the second rookie in NBA history to tally that line in 30 minutes or fewer. He played only 26 minutes! Arvydas Sabonis achieved that stat but took him 30 minutes!

    Edey's problem in college was that when he was posting up and dribbling backwards to the hoop, the ball has a long way to go down, and a long way to get back to his hand. He was stripped a lot. But this Boilermaker is loving his play this year.

      You wont see much, they play different positions. Eddie is a traditional center. Even though he is considered a project center his post game fundamentals and foot work are already miles ahead of Wemby. Wemby is a extremely tall shooting guard who cant guard the post, he relies on swatting at shots from behind. Wemby is to light and lacks the strength to guard most centers. He gets rag dolled by anyone who is a serviceable center or PF. Wemby has never developed the foot work to have a elite post game. Eddie would chew Wemby up in the post and Wemby would outplay Eddie on the perimeter.

  • @Anthonydu01630
    @Anthonydu01630 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +7

    I think he could be a 7’4 Brook Lopez with better passing in his prime, so a DPOY and ALL STAR level player, he might never win DPOY just because Wemby exist but he can be a Top 5 defender in the league imo, and if he get bigger like Shaq who was 300pounds as a rookie just like him and then reached 340 in his prime, and even more after, it will be almost impossible to stop him from backing you down in the post, so i think he could become dominant
