    Your channel has rapidly become my go to whenever I go on TH-cam, love the videos, so many fascinating places you visit and they've been an inspiration for my next trip to Snowdonia, on that note, what's the headroom like in these tunnels and adits, Rhosydd adit 9 in particular? It's difficult to tell from your videos but they look quite low, I'm hoping to visit Maenofferen, Rhosydd and Conglog, I'm able bodied but my back doesn't fare well if I have to bend over for an extended length of time and I'm 6'3". Keep up the great work Chris and thank you.

      Rhosydd no9 is quite high, more or less walk straight, same as most the tunnels, just every now and then you might have a lower head height due to waste on floor

    Those signs make me giggle, Crossing a busy road has a danger of death as does riding a bicycle and many many more everyday things.
    Carry on Chris its great viewing and really interesting.

      You mean inclines? It's only these mines around here you get them underground due to the angle of the slate, they're impressive when you stand at top looking down

    My friend and I scaled the peak of the spoils in the opening at 1.10 minutes into the video, but never saw any passage ways so didn't explore. Wish we had done now!

      Nice one, I don't mind making feature length videos 😂, but lots prefer 20 minute videos, trouble is, most mines are so big, you won't fit anything in 20 minutes

    • @photobillyexplores
      @photobillyexplores 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shonkytours2039 that's it absolutely, problem is if people struggle past 20min videos it's becouse there probably not that interested in the first place... Keep up the good work 🙌

    Hi Chris, that wall is beyond comprehension as to how many man hours it took to create.

    Hi Christopher, is the Eimco a 12B? it looks quite small. That wall is astonishing. It's looks to be 120' at least, do you have a height for it. Thank you for taking us on your trip. God bless

    • @shonkytours2039
      @shonkytours2039  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It spans a floor and a half so definitely 100 feet, I'll have to look at old photo of eimco I've got saved somewhere, I've photographed the maker plate, should say on that

      @@shonkytours2039 I've never seen a wall on anything like that scale underground. I'm interested in the Eimco because I have used a 12B and several LM56 rocker shovels underground. Great fun to operate as long as you keep your head out of the way. Great tour again and looking forward to seeing drop the man way and explore further. God bless

    Oh the dreaded TG-6 camera shakes, i suspect you are using a TG camera. I have a TG-3 and i hate the shakes it creates. otherwise a wonderful camera. You know Patterdale, ok, yeah he uses the TG-6, they shake a bit.

    • @shonkytours2039
      @shonkytours2039  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I just use my huawei p30 Pro phone. The camera is awesome. If I use a phone stabiliser (gimbal) the video is very smooth, but some times I need my hands free and can't use it, that's when I get camera shake, plus I walk fast without realising and film at same time. I'm trying to slow down a bit iff nott using gimbal
