Braille is a series of raised dots that blind people use to 'read' with. Brail also means a series of small ropes, or pullies! Quail is a bird! Inscribed means etched, engraved or scratched. We're in 2023 which is the 21st century. The writing on the wall definitely looks Latin to me. That church looks really peaceful to me.

Great first investigation inside a church. That one was amazing, I love old churches derelict or not, so much history, and well worth investigating, asso much emotion connected to them from funerals, christenings, and marriages. Aswell as a meeting place back when that one was built, they were used for village meetings, . Could be worth going back to that one once the flys have gone, and investigate near the well.stay safe see you next time.🎃👻🖤🎃👻🖤

Matt, I lived in East Sussex for a several years in a very old cottage right next to a church and graveyard. I saw something holding onto my bottom bannister. He was dressed in a long night dress, holding a candle, I did nt see his face. My cat was nervous often looking on the stairs. It was close to Burling Gap, East Dean. I still start to shake when I recall it❤❤

Our local church is 1600 s and has medieval wall drawings. Thomas a becket preached there. It’s fantastic to keep and look after these magnificent buildings

The music in your intros is always spot on for the ambience of wherever you are. They used to whitewash over text and paintings to hide them when religion changed to stop the churches getting smashed etc and people being killed .

Awesome footage guys! Very brave! It would be nice to hear interesting conversations. Maybe you guys can write a list of questions about history who they were maybe think about their eras ask what year they were born and learn about their history almost like interviewing a famous person. Like What questions would you ask if you got to interview your role model still living or passed on. Or some kind of dialogue so it’s not so repetitive. They move on to the next subject faster. I'm exactly the same! I'm not religious, but I absolutely love looking around old churches more so for the history and the architecture ❤ it was a little spooky but I think it was more the location and with it being night time, but the church definitely felt peaceful 😊

Hello Dead City Paranormal. You are asking what Braille means. Braille is for people who are blind, so that they can read. They use their fingers to read on a thick paper that has a series of bumps.

Braille is a type of writing in raised characters that the blind can feel with their fingers so can read it .
One bench (at the front of the north chapel) still bears the initials R.O.B., this being the Reverend Owen Bulkeley, a former rector, who died in 1737. A church inventory of 1742 records a particular bench which was used by women only.
When the 'necro' answered 'me' to the question you asked "who wrote this?" I wouldn't trust that as an answer...old as that place is, surely if they had written it their answer would be more like "I" . Don't believe the word "me" was ever used 🤔
What interested me was the skull and cross bones underneath the writing on the wall.I did some research and found out that during Latin times it means... What you are we once were,what we are you will be,thought provoking that's for sure.

This is also the first video I have watched from you. I guess perhaps you have struck out on your own. I am an American who have Dutch Irish ancient, or perhaps Scott Irish decents. I am always very interested in your world and the architecture. I would love to see more such as this beautiful church. I think I noticed what appeared to be a skull and cross bones on the wall behind your head. If i was wrong could you please let me know. I have become a subscriber here tonight but however I am not superstitious. I don't understand why all paranormal investigators always seem to say "we mean you no harm. " If they are truly dead and are spirits, what can be done to them to hurt them? If they are truly spirits, or ghosts, or maybe even demons. Seems to me you all should be worried about what they can do to you. Anyway I enjoyed this and look forward to your next one.
We say "we don't mean you any harm" try to and get them to communicate with us, incase they see us as threats.. just being polite more than anything with whoever I'm trying to contact 😊 and that is correct! It is a skull and cross bones, they discovered the writing during restoration works in the 80s I believe, I think the writing is Latin or maybe old English.
