Hi Tony you mentioned that you had Warriors previously. I'm tentatively looking at Arvor's 215AS and 230AS for next year. We have had a Warrior 165 and now fish from a late 170. Obviously the 'paper' speed is greater on the Warriors but do you find that real world speed is much different? I would be interested in your thoughts. Regards Steve.
Hi Steve I have had seven Warriors over 15 years or so and they are great boats. But not a patch on the Arvor 230as . I love going down on the Friday night sleeping on the boat then getting an early start on the Saturday. You can drink an open cup of tea going out to the mark very hard to do that on a Warrior slamming all the time. So more versatile with the lockable cabin. I have just fitted a diesel heater which is so nice on a cold night when sleeping onboard But I expect it’s all about the money I would go for the 230 or the 215. Great boats 👍
Sorry Steve you asked about speed. The Warrior are much faster but very uncomfortable in bumpy seas. My Arvor top speed is 21 knots but I rarely do that I do about 16 knots. Fuel cost a bit dearer as well. Nice having a fuel tank and not red fuel tanks. Hope that helps
@@SharkSmithAngling Cheers Tony appreciate the response. Give it this season on a mooring and i'll have a look about. Thanks for taking the time to put this stuff up.
