I agree, though not with football, basketball is more helpful, if you are point guard and work on dribbling and intricacy of passing and movement. If you can control every part of you body in basketball, the in boxing, inside fighting ability will increase. If your an outside boxer, a sport like football at be easier though.
Kane -Sports link to one another due to the skills you pick up, certain sports increasing certain skills more than others. Football and basketball works on foot work and control, needed for a good boxer. Practicing foot work ONLY with boxing is harder, much harder. Think more logically and in-depth, it will go a long way.

Best of luck, work harder than the best [layers on your football team and stay coachable. That's not a sound bite. It'll take a team to help you understand the difference between fighting and being in the sport of Boxing with many rules you must learn. t's more than throwing punches and skills. You literally have to learn a dictionary of terms and vocabulary. It's No different than going to school to become a DOCTOR. That's what most won't tell you before beginning. Best of luck.

Hello Coach Bradley I'm 19 years old and have been boxing on and off for the past three years due to constant moving between different cities. A few months ago i was diagnosed with a brain deformity and had to undergo brain decompression surgery. I have been getting constant checkups with doctors to make sure that everything is healing properly. My doctors have given me permission to return to sparring as soon as i'm fully recovered however they did mention that i would be at higher risk of injury than your everyday boxer. If i did decide to return to the ring would my past medical issues prohibit me from competing in amateurs or even the professional rankings. And if you were in my position and really loved the sport would you compete knowing that you're at higher risk than everyone else? Thank you and God bless
im 27 ive been obsessed with boxing my whole life all me and my pops watched when i was a kid was boxing. ive been training at home watching freddie roach videos for years. my question is, can i make it anywhere in competition at my age if i go balls to the wall with training?
You absolutely can, if you are good enough. You have to give 100% though. That means not just working harder but working smarter. Boxing is a full time job you must be training and then resting not training then working.
I’m 13 and I’m nearly the strongest in my year I really want to be a boxer I will start training putting my time into it and following a strifes diet I will also work out really hard so I can reach the top of my health and strength so I can qualify into heavy weight champion ships and maybe get a scholar ship

I'm 19. I have been boxing for almost two years. but I've had about 6 months off. I've had one white collar boxing match and that's it. No official amateur fights. I am thinking about going straight to pro. Because I do know how to box. And tbh some of the wet wiped pro boxers I've seen I'd fit right in
Pro heavyweight boxer first or pro heavyweight mma fighter first. Right now my situation. I’m not able to go to a coaching facility. But that’s my goals probably going to be an early 40 year old starter. Wish me luck. Mainly selfie taught
I'm 38 and homeless. Had a life of mental hospitals and jail when I was younger. I was abused as a child. Boxing gives me something to occupy my time and makes me feel confident. I don't care that I am older, I am learning and am healthier than I ever was. Right now I pray to God I can find a team. I emailed Mayweather years ago when I wasn't ready. I want the Mayweather's in my corner and if I can be competitive, I want Al Hamen. I see myself as being successful and being a champion. I don't really think I could have worked so hard as a young man. If I could do something else I might try, but I was meant to be a boxer. I think I will be a champion and keep going at an old age. I will inspire people. I hope to be without question the best boxer there ever was.
I have not given up when people told me I was too old or would get hurt. My failures gave me things to work on. I am still gaining momentum and I haven't reached my prime yet. If you hear me Flyod Mayweather, thank you for your example. I study your moves and training. I am not build like you but I have advantages in my own way. I'm tall, I am tough, and my relatives on my Mom's side were athletes. It's in my blood. I live to learn. When I get it figured out, I hope to meet Flyod Mayweather.
I’m 24 and I just started boxing cause I need a way to take care of my kids, I loss my job cause of COVID and I been training and I’m looking forward to fight as an amateur and to go pro one day, I have no choice but to take this shit serious
It takes a long time to make money in boxing. There’s so much outsiders don’t know about our sport. If your decision is based upon money, My advice you should find a skill and create your own hustle. Find something you are good at, then start building customers. If you love boxing and have a freakish ability, it’s your purgative to follow your dreams. It simply sounds like this isn’t a dream, but more of a reach for cash. This is 2021 1/2, there are more ways to feed your kids champ. Best of luck. 🙏

If you’re a pro, it takes more research because of what’s on the line. FYI. Go chat with them in person about your aspirations. Then you’ll know from their response if they’re a good fit For you.

How's about an aspiration to combine the Peek-A-Boo style+Dempsey Roll with Taekwondo, BJJ and other for MMA? Of course it depends on how the fight goes, but I am interested in both MMA and Boxing competitions.
I need some advice. I am 17 been boxing for a year now but the problem is i trained boxing in a boxing gym for 4 months and then it shut down because the guy had no money to continue but listen, i then dwitched to train ina gym whre they teach wresteling mma and kick boxing and they only compete in wresteling but i have learned a lot from the gys there . But the problem is i cant have any amateur foghts becaude there is not a registered boxing club here. What should i do i realy want to fight
HT Pranks All you'll need to do to become an amateur boxer, is to go out to USABOXING.COM and fill out a boxer athlete form and pay the fees. This will give you the green light to start boxing inside of a boxing gym. Just a footnote, you can't learn boxing at home, everything you learn there, you'll have to unlearn and be taught the proper way with a coach accompanying you. Let us know how your journey goes . Good stuff👍🏼
I'm 22 - almost 23, always been a good fighter but never stepped foot in a boxing gym. I want to become a professional boxer, always thought about it my whole life and always will. I am strong, hard hitter but my stamina is seriously bad. Takes me 34 minutes to run 5km. What shall i do to get myself into the boxing scene?
Jake Jake First you must find a local gym. Try it out for a short while or as long as it takes to identify what it feels like to train like a fighter. It's not what it appears from the outside. Once you've done this, reach back out to me, this will be like college. It's harder than it appears, but if you do the right things, it'll pay off big time. Keep me posted buddy. Thanks again for checkin in.
Jake Jake Locate your local gyms, go take time out with the coach's. This may take several visits, let them know what you desire. They will usually look at you like you have two heads, because boxing is much harder than people think. It's not street fighting. Once you show up enough weeks, months, they will take you more serious. Until then, don't expect any special treatment. Coach's don't waist time with dreamers, they spend time with doers Keep me posted as to how you're coming along. Thanks again and hope this helped out. Maybe onte day you'll be a Champion.

Fienddademon Malicious Mafia Boxing is a sport the same as the NFL. Loving to fight and loving to Box are two totally different things. Fighting doesn’t consist of not being in control of your daily life anymore. It’s merely about scrapping with another foe off of impulse. Boxing isn’t anything like that. It takes the discipline to stop eating the foods you love at the time of cutting weight and literally dehydrating yourself beyond the point of sickness. The 5am runs are what really make it yummy when you’re fast asleep and the alarm goes off. You’ll have to make many decisions that people who love to fight won’t. So before jumping into a career that’s sport oriented, simply learn more about the call of duty and if there are you strong suits. If not, you’ll find that boxing has layering to the positions offered. Tier one is opponents. ( the guys who will never be champions) Tier two are Journeymen, guys who will always try to make their own rules and never follow process. They will also never be champions Tier three: prospect: A guy who has a team, some talent but it’s yet to be known if he can truly follow through, stay consistent for years and overcome a series of adversity’s. Tier 4, the contender, the guy who has the team in tact, the ability, the hunger and the following to build a business from their talent but has the discipline to follow through. Last but not least is the CHAMPION, he’s a breed and needs no description, his talent and dedication not only speak for itself, but brings success to all of those who surround him. Well I hope you were able to digest all of this my good man. Boxing will soon bring out which one of these individuals you truly are. The only thing left to do is to stop talking and go find a coach, interview them and start a life of discipline if you ever want to become a champion fighter . Best of luck 👍🏾👍🏾
Fienddademon Malicious Mafia Remember, saying it is one thing, going through the steps to do it are required. If you’re serious, you’ll right down every single step you’ll need to make, look over it and begin the process of the planning. Just giving you that nugget. Be blessed and best of luck🤛🏾
Hi, I’m 20 years old, 6’1”, 270 lbs, and lately I’ve been thinking about becoming a boxer. Is 20 years old too old to start boxing? Cause I know a lot of guys start training when they’re young, so I was just wondering is it too late to get into boxing, or should I go ahead and shoot my shot?
No anyone can become a boxer and learn to fight. Is it to late to become heavy weight champ? Also no, however you must work harder than everyone else because you have a disadvantage

I’m 13 55-65 ish kilograms keep shifting in between and I’m 162 cm tall hopefully one day I can be an actual pro because In the country I am right now it’s impossible because boxing is not know by 99% of the people there and there is no such thing as pro or a Amateur here and there has never been a boxer here to make it to Olympics so I want to be the first I want to pave the way for others mark my words I’m hungry and I will stay hungry till the day I can’t throw a punch anymore.
Saif Bastaki There was a Fighter for Great Britain in the 2004 Olympics who was the only one fighting for an entire country. You can be the first as well. My family was a part of that year of Global competition. The individual who I’m speaking who competed did his country well by going up against the greatest Olympic Boxer who had won gold metals in each of his visits to the Olympics. The young man didn’t win the Gold, but he learned from one of the greatest Olympic fighters to have ever laced them up. The Boxer who I’m speaking of who fought for his country all alone, was Amir Kahn. He won the Silver that year, but was the only British Boxer in the entire competition. So never allow fear to come into the equation, go for your Olympic dreams, even if you’re the only person in your country to strive for greatness young man. Best of luck and be blessed 🙏🏾 #MasterBoxingAcademy

Yes, keep training everyday. Remember, this is a marathon. Most think Boxing's a sprint. Prove yourself and eventually help will support your mission.Do not expect anyone to stop their lives to help you until you've proven you're different and 1000% committed. Work time.
Once he’s fought enough amateur to understand the 35 attribute necessary to move into pro ranks. Get ranked at least in the top 20 of amateurs and learn how to win at major tournaments. Never before any of these accomplishments have been met. At the age of 23 years old you should have enough reps to become a pro. Your body is growing into its man stages and you’re becoming mature by 25. Hope this helps
No.. how many NFL football players have you heard of starting in the league at 33? Name one. Learning boxing and becoming an actual professional fighter is two different things. The sport is saturated with guys who will never make money, m The reason for this is they wanted to fight by their own rules and never grew up in the sport. Please put some respect on Boxing’s name. You can only become an opponent starting that late. Nobodies going to invest in a person who’s old enough to retire. If you’re not pro by 24, find another career path. Just FYI .
@@MasterBoxingLLC ok but could you become a top Amateur at a older ages then if you could beat all of them older why not become pro? If beating all the top amateurs

If it’s meant for you to do, you will do just that. Pray and let the answers come to you. Having ability doesn’t always mean that’s what we’re here to do. Fighters fight, thinkers think about it. Find what wakes you up and go after it. 👍🏽👍🏽

I’ve been boxing for 2 years and I wake up everyday at 5 to train boxing

i was training my whole life teakwando .kick boxing . muay thai.but what i did wrong is last 3 years i focused only on bodybuilding i become slow and i lost my skills .i'm gonna switch to boxing i guess it's a great idea .may allah help y'all to achieve your goals.
Brother you should try mma because you have trained different types of martial arts. May Allah help you brudda.
Can you become a professional boxer if you’re working a full time job?? I can’t quit my job either cuz I have to paid rent but I would love to be a boxer but worry my job is stopping me from that dream
LA PICHAS sacrifice comes with boxing.....ect.
To achieve your dream, you must have to sacrifice everything you love.
All the time your not at work train
Let go of all the other distractions, as soon as you leave work you go train
Eat sleep work train
That's it
Get a part time job and focus on boxing.
Hoodrixh Jay exactly I’m going to do that thanks
I’m 16 and I’ve been training for around 2 years now I still don’t have amateur fights because of COVID. I stopped working out but I started agin around 2 weeks ago i need to get fit again but I want to go pro I’m not very tall but there are short fighters.

I have no experience in boxing at all but I feel so natural to it when I throw punches or shadow box. I payed baseball and football in high school for 2 years I’m 20 years old now and I’m gonna become a boxer
I’ve been always wanting to start my boxing career abs I love the sport and I’ve done training of my own and I need to fight but don’t don’t know where to go
The main thing that I want to find out is where do fights take place who decides the fights and who pays u
Thank you
Thank you. Sincerely, thank you
Appreciate the knowledge do you have more of these??

Thanks
I got given the the boxing gift of long ass arms , if I train like hell and learn to get the most use out my long arms I can do this shit
im 27 ive been obsessed with boxing my whole life all me and my pops watched when i was a kid was boxing. ive been training at home watching freddie roach videos for years. my question is, can i make it anywhere in competition at my age if i go balls to the wall with training?
Revelation illustration same here
Age is just a number Muhammad ali didnt retire intell he was like 40 same with floyd
You absolutely can, if you are good enough. You have to give 100% though. That means not just working harder but working smarter. Boxing is a full time job you must be training and then resting not training then working.
U look like ur in ur 30s no offense
Saif Bastaki welll he almost 30 that’s a stupid comment
I’m 13 and I’m nearly the strongest in my year I really want to be a boxer I will start training putting my time into it and following a strifes diet I will also work out really hard so I can reach the top of my health and strength so I can qualify into heavy weight champion ships and maybe get a scholar ship
I'm glad I saw this first before I actually started boxing

Good info

If your decision is based upon money,
My advice you should find a skill and create your own hustle.
im 14 and im a girl. ive had a passion for boxing for as long as i can remember. ive been training for years and recently started a class. but there teaching me things i already know and they dont push me as much as id like them to. My dream is to become a professional and to do a boxing apprenticeship. but i cant find any good clubs around my area and if i do find one its only for boys. But i wont give up no matter how much negativity i get. :)

Dude I'm the opposite I was never gifted in athletics at all I was the smart fat nerdy Asian kid while my sister was the popular athletic girl so I was never called strong but after some health issues I decided to workout with everything I had and I lost so much weight and got alot stronger then I became known as the fit nerdy guy so I was still kinda similar but I now have so much confidence and respect for all forms of exercise even cheerleading and Sumo Wrestling. I now workout at the gym, do calisthenics at home, do jump rope, and run alot more now because I want to become a boxer and I don't care what anyone says I wanna work towards this so I'm trying to get in contact with this guy at my highschool that apparently coaches pro boxers. Morgan Williams Look up your local gyms, then visit their website. If you’re an amateur you can see the list of coaches they have.
If you’re a pro, it takes more research because of what’s on the line. FYI. Go chat with them in person about your aspirations. Then you’ll know from their response if they’re a good fit For you.

Coach's don't waist time with dreamers, they spend time with doers
Keep me posted as to how you're coming along. Thanks again and hope this helped out. Maybe onte day you'll be a Champion.
Train train train
can you be a active fighter and a couch

My name is tyreik I’m 20 years old and I want to start a boxing career not for the money or anything like that but because I love to fight I’m willing to put in the hard work if anyone has any advice please let me know something I’m from Houston Texas also and I’m ready to fight.
( the guys who will never be champions)
Tier two are Journeymen, guys who will always try to make their own rules and never follow process. They will also never be champions
Tier three: prospect: A guy who has a team, some talent but it’s yet to be known if he can truly follow through, stay consistent for years and overcome a series of adversity’s.
Master Boxing thanks for the advice I’ll use everything you just told me to start a career and become a world champion one day.

Are you also up for coaching? For pro career
What age is the latest you can become professional and how many Amateur fights
Once he’s fought enough amateur to understand the 35 attribute necessary to move into pro ranks. Get ranked at least in the top 20 of amateurs and learn how to win at major tournaments. Never before any of these accomplishments have been met. At the age of 23 years old you should have enough reps to become a pro. Your body is growing into its man stages and you’re becoming mature by 25. Hope this helps
@@MasterBoxingLLC ok so can you be good starting from the ages of 28 could you become pro at 33?
No.. how many NFL football players have you heard of starting in the league at 33?
