Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald who played two of the teachers in this are famous for being part of a Canadian sketch comedy troop called 'Kids in the Hall'. If you want to see more of them I highly recommend the 1996 comedy film "Brain Candy", which also stars all the other actors involved in Kids in the Hall and they all play multiple roles. Since KITH was an all male comedy troop they would always play female characters themselves.
I truly adore this flick. It has an incredible cast and is complete fun. Bruce Cambell was in Escape from LA with Kurt Russell as well. Completely love your reaction.
I would think he's best known for being a member of the Kids in the Hall, arguably the second greatest comedy troupe of all time, next to Monty Python.
This movie is so much better than it has any right to be. I saw this one in the theater when it came out, and have loved it ever since. What really sets it apart for me is the cast. Kurt Russel and Bruce Campbell are the obvious two, but there were so many more. Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim), Danielle Panabaker (The Flash TV series), Kelly Preston (perhaps best known as Travolta's wife, but for movies Twins was probably her biggest), Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman), Kevin McDonald and Dave Foley (Kids in the Hall), Patrick Warburton (Kronk)... such a loaded cast.
The main villian who was played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, also plays Hera Syndulla in Ahsoka, and she has many notable roles in mant goos movies. In real life she's married to Ewan MacGregor, (Obi Wan Kenobi).
This is one of my favorite Disney movies. When I was young I used to watch it every time I got depressed. It's so good to see it again and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Take care and be well
"Why are these fight sequences actually going hard?" Because they have an amazing stunt team behind them. One of the assistant stunt coordinators was literally David Carradine's stunt double in both Kill Bill movies. And most of the stunt crew has gone on to major film and TV projects, including Burn Notice, S.W.A.T, The Hunger Games movies, Marvel Movies, etc.
Both All-American Boy (Dave Foley) and the mad scientist (Kevin McDonald) played in the hilarious and long-running Canadian sketch comedy show, "The Kids In The Hall". Highly recommend.
The only thing I remember about "The Kids in the Hall" is the guy that would pinch his fingers together and say "I'm crushing your head!" while looking at people. Had no clue Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald or whoever else were in that show since I never really watched it on a regular basis back then.

So many people are talking about Lynda Carter (the prinicipal) being Wonder Woman, but the nurse was the actress that played her mother! (In the 70s) I always found her sister Wonder Girl more attractive, but Wonder Woman was definitely iconic. The 70s had a lot of superhero tv shows in live action. Wonder Woman, Shazam, the Hulk, Spiderman, and more!
Two Kids In The Hall (Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald), the original Wonder Woman, Ash, and pre-Community Dean Pelton. Amazing cast of supporting adults.

4:21 (The Lion King, Frozen, Bambi, Big Hero 6, Brother Bear) I think Disney would. 6:54 The Principal of the School also played Wonder Woman in the 1976 Wonder Woman series
Walt Disney's last words were supposedly to write Kurt Russell's name on a piece of paper. Even he doesn't know why, best guess it's some film idea he thought Russell would be perfect for.
It’s a good story, but it’s not true. They found a piece of paper in his office that had Kurt Russel’s name on it and some notes abut a project. Walt Disney’s actual last word was “Rosebud.”
Personally, I find Royal Pain a rather inspiring role model of a supervillain. She just has the right mix of flare, style, flash, panache, appearance and presentation. I mean, what’s the point of being evil if you don’t get to look cool. Plus, that disguised voice by Patrick Warburton really works for her. How else would anyone take you serious with just how you look? It’s also about how you sound and what you say that matters most if you expect to be seen and heard.
Kurt Russell is no stranger to Disney movies. He was a child actor in the 1960s and early 70s and did many live-action Disney movies like The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. Even as an adult, he did another Disney film with Miracle about the US Olympic Hockey Team at Lake Placid in 1980...I still believe he should have been nominated for an Oscar for that performance as Herb Brooks, the coach of the Miracle team. Jetstream/Josie Stronghold is the late Kelly Preston, wife of John Travolta. She passed due to cancer in 2020. She did a lot of movies like Mischief, Jerry Maguire, Twins, and For Love Of the Game. Lynda Carter, who plays the principal of Sky High, was Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the 1970s Wonder Woman TV series. Warren Peace is played by Steven Strait, best known for playing Jim Holden on The Expanse. Dave Foley (Mr. Boy) and Kevin McDonald (Dr. Medulla) were both members of the Canadian comedy group Kids in the Hall. Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays Gwen Grayson. She was also Ramona in Scott Pilgrim and General Hera Syndulla in Star Wars Ahsoka, her role making Star Wars a family affair. Her husband in real life is Ewan McGregor, good ole Obi-Wan Kenobi himself. Danielle Panabaker (Layla) finished another superhero job just last year. She played Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost on the CW show The Flash for the whole series run of ten seasons and was in the crossover shows for Arrow, Supergirl, and DC's Legends Of Tomorrow. She also directed several episodes of The Flash.

34:45 That's Kevin McDonald probably best known for voicing Pleakley in Lilo and Stitch. He's also one of the Tallests in Invader Zim.
Bruce Campbell as the gym teacher is genius casting!
The cameos in this movie is incredible
"but its a Disney movie, so they won't die" WAIT... have you not seen Bambi?
Do you know how many Disney princesses have both parents?
@@Travis_D_Travesty almost none...
I'm not sure if you noticed or not, Viki, but Gwen, the villain, is played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, AKA Ramona Flowers from Scott pilgrim
Were you watching the reaction? She said exactly that.
@oscardiggs246 I posted the comment at the second time she said "who is she, she looks familiar" 😂🤣. I was too lazy to delete my comment
The main villian who was played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, also plays Hera Syndulla in Ahsoka, and she has many notable roles in mant goos movies. In real life she's married to Ewan MacGregor, (Obi Wan Kenobi).
I found this several years ago. And to this day it remains a Guilty Pleasure. Sky High is absolutely adorable!
Vikki! How did you not recognize the bus driver!? You have seen Super Troopers!!!
21:41 - "She's a senior, she's predatory!" As someone who has seen this movie before, well, I was wondering how VKunia would react to the big reveal later...
A certified classic, I'm glad you got to react to this
Love this film. Always said it came out just a tad too early to catch the superhero excitement.
Killer snow so cute here😻😻
Two Kids In The Hall (Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald), the original Wonder Woman, Ash, and pre-Community Dean Pelton. Amazing cast of supporting adults.
4:24 “I don’t think the parents are going to die” 👀
Literally almost anyone in a Disney movie: yeah, my whole story is about how my parents died……
12:16 also, just as an fyi, I think she has problems making lemons because lemons actually aren’t natural. They’re a cross breed. Thus, life never gave anyone lemons.
34:47 omfg I completely forgot about that “puberty twice” line… probably the most relatable line for me 😅🏳️⚧️
@@RavenRose91 Then it would have made more sense for the tree to give her a bitter orange.
Childhood CLASSIC right here!
Wow. I'm old! (I love this movie too, but I was already in my 30s when it came out)
18 years prior to the canteen brawl between Will Stronghold and Warren Peace, their uncles Jerry Mitchell and Buddy Revell had a conventional fight at the car park in 3 o’clock High (1987)
Her face when you show her the secret sanctum 😮
33:45 Yes, that is Tom Kenny, the voice of Spongebob. I loved his short cameo. XD
Also, fun fact, Mrs. Timmerman is played by his IRL wife and co-actor Jill Talley who is the voice of Karen in Spongebob too.
On top of the castmembers you spotted there's also Principal Powers' actress Lynda Carter, who was Wonder Woman on the old tv series
Lets not forget the coach basically physically harassed his "child" doppelgänger😵
They don’t make movies like Sky High anymore.
Catchy music, great scenes, interesting characters, useful life lessons…. Very educational for youngsters.
Kurt Russell got his first starring roles in Disney movies, back in the 60s/early70s. The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes; Now You See Him, Now You Don't; The Barefoot Executive. All Disney movies starring a young Kurt Russell.
I absolutely love this movie. This is one of my favorite super hero movies of all time. A perfect blend of acting, comedy, story telling, action, romance, casting and character developing.
4:21 (The Lion King, Frozen, Bambi, Big Hero 6, Brother Bear) I think Disney would. 6:54 The Principal of the School also played Wonder Woman in the 1976 Wonder Woman series
If you check out Kurt Russell's early work, you'll find he was a Disney kid.
Kurt Russell had also voiced adult Copper in the animated film, The Fox and the Hound as well.
Michael (Will) also played great role in Lords of Dogtown... and another fun cheesy movie The Forbidden Kingdom
I remember loving this as a kid and I still love it as an adult. I've watched a couple other reactions to this movie and I always enjoy re-watching this. Also, I found out that the actress who played Layla, Danielle Panabaker, played as Caitlin Snow in The Flash TV show.
*In the end, my girlfriend became my arch enemy, my arch enemy became my best friend, and my best friend became my girlfriend*
The quote will be forever in my head
Fun Facts: The reason Layla can't make lemons is because lemons are man made
In the end with the high school falling that couple screaming, that guy is the voice of sponge bob and his actual wife who does the voice of Karen ( Plankton's computer wife)
Long before I discovered Marvel and DC, this and The Incredibles were the only superhero films I ever watched and I LOVED them!!
Kelly Preston has played Marney in Twins, and was married in real life to John Travolta. She appeared in Maroon 5 "She will be loved" aside from a slew of television appearances, and B part movie roles
I only graduated in 2018, and since then the ending of this movie has brought tears to my eyes through nostalgia, just wanting to stay forever young and in love.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2: "Well about that..."
You keep saying "Disney channel movie" probably cause that is where you first encountered the movie, but this was a theatrical release from the summer of '05. I remember seeing it in the local cinema. Thanks for the fun remembrance.
This movie is super underrated, totally better than so many other Disney originals.
Sky High is basically MHA. Ice Girl is Rei Todoroki, while Warren Peace is Endeavor.
I love that Linda Carter, the original Wonder Woman, played the principal in this one. Brilliant casting!
Your hatred for the goblin henchman got funnier and funnier as the video went on 😂😭
Super random, but if you plan to watch any Christmas movies for December. I want to suggest "Christmas Chronicles" (Part 1 & 2), it's really good. Another is "The Santa Clause" if you haven't seen it yet.
Another underrated Superhero film is ZOOM, stars Tim Allen (Home Improvement and Last Man Standing) Courtney Cox (Friends) Chevy Chase (SNL and the “Vacation” movies) Rip Torn (Men In Black 1 & 2)
*Linda Carter, the Principal, is the original live action Wonder Woman. And Kurt Russell has starred in Disney movies since he was a kid.* 😁
Funny you mentioned Wonder Woman since the lady playing the principal is Lynda Carter who played Wonder Woman on tv in the 70's.
I know him, but not sure from what. If you have ever seen Super troopers or any other broken lizard production, that's most likely it.
It's her being surprised that Kurt Russell was in a Disney film that flabbergasted me.
girl Kurt Russel stated in Disney films the computer wore tennis shoes, the strongest man in the world, the barefoot executive and many others.
I remember first seeing Kelly Preston (Will's mom) on the movie Space Camp. I've seen her in several movies since then, one of which was Twins, with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito. Sadly, she's passed away.
By the way, she was married to John Travolta.
My brother, my Dad, and I saw this in theaters in Jerusalem, Israel. One thing I didn’t see a thousand miles away was Will’s dad getting him an Xbox! That was the funniest moment! 😄
I love the movie so friggin much. Was a big part of my childhood.
"Are the parents going to die?
But this is a Disney movie..."
Me: looks at lion king, UP, Bambi, Finding Nemo....ETC.
Kurt Russell actually did a lot of Disney Films when he was younger.
"The Barefoot Executive"
"Now You See Him, Now You Don't"
"The Strongest Man in the World"
"The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes"
Those are the ones I've seen. There are other Disney movies Kurt Russell has been in that I can't think of now.
This is a guilty pleasure genre its so much fun
This movie is so underrated its a crime that it never got a sequel
