I do love this theory. My theory as a kid was actually similar to the first one. I always thought she left or died during chilbirth and to keep his kids for being raised without a mother which could be emotionally scarring. The father made a puppet to look like her. This gave the kids a mom and gave him a coping method. It would explain why the kids acted the way they did, and why the younger Robinsons believed she was real, they were raised with her portrayed as a real person from birth or when they were really young. The older Robinsons saw that this gave him comfort and helped his kids so in time they accepted her as real.
One thing that I do know then is that she was both physically and verbally abusive to her husband, which makes it disturbing and not just strange anymore.
I love when The Theorizer finds a random character with 2 minutes of screentime and deducts that they are actually an evil mastermind and also reincarnation of cthulu who will bring the end to the multiverse
Wow, I love how your theories always have that one mind blowing moment, and no matter how crazy it seems, I always end up thinking "wow... that actually makes sense".
I like how with this theory in mind cornelius is essentially the good version of william afton, trying to do good with his electronics instead of harming people but one of them happens to become a mastermind and decides to manipulate people for a sinister plan. Cornelius saving someone's life with a puppet would be the polar opposite of what happened to Charlie who's life was not able to be saved by the puppet.
@@randomindividual948 Doris is technically like the fazbear frights story Lonely Freddy which was a story where a little freddy bodyswaps with a child to steal his identity only here the brain was put into doris to restore her identity
It is interesting that you start your theory with pointing out the hair colour, even as a child, I had always thought it was weird that they share the same hair colour even though she was a puppet, so I wondered what had happened to their real mother.
I love the theory, but there's one teenie tiny thing that I'd like to unnecessarily fix: When Petunia goes for a drive, Bud says that she always took the Harley, so she really died via car crash. This would support the 1st theory since Fritz looks away when she drives off, as anyone would if they see their one true love's death once again, but that's just my little tweak.
I dont think iv herd anyone say it was bad, Iv never watched it but been told allot that i should check it out. I see why iv been suggested it after watching this vid, great looking animation and really interesting looking premis.
Here is a question how can Doris logistically control the whole planet by herself. Sure she is a super advanced but alone she can't controll billions of people and all the tech. At the very least she needs multiple beings on her technological level. And the puppet just happens to not be physical there in the bad future almost like the host has left it to do something else
Why is this one of the first theories from this channel i've seen that actually cohesively makes sense? (I agree with most of them they are just ridiculous)
You know the mort DreamWorks theories are great and are to me pretty much the highlight videos of this channel, but is nice to see Mr Theorizer making videos touching mysteries from popular movies and show he and some of us enjoy again, reminds me of older times.
Here's an idea: What if Doris isn't a hat, but a bunch of nanobots set to come apart when the disengagement words are said (those words being "I'll never make you") so that not only can time loop smoothly, but this also means Goob is in on the plan. It makes sense, because why would he look so lonely and disgusting even after being adopted because that's what inevitably happens? I belive his backstory is made up, the gross appearance is some sort of illusion, and that Goob and Cornelius are actually good friends in the future. EDIT: I'm saying future Goob looks like that due to some hologram illusion, not because of some messed up genetics.
I think his gross appearance is due to him being physically disheveled. He stopped being active and just laid about in an orphanage so old and moldy that it most likely really hurt his health. He wasn't adopted initially, remember he fell asleep during the game and got so hateful he made it a nightmare for any parents who wanted him. So when he gets adopted, and it's in the good timeline, that Goob would fade from reality, and a proper, healthier Goob would take his place. Once he won the game, got proper rest, etcetera, he most likely would look different in the future.
Theorizer is kinda like the Tommy Wisaeu of theory making, but in a good way. A guy who is outside the system and makes bizare content that completly goes against the mainstream and dosen't play anything safe. You never know what you will get with the Theorizer and that is awesome
Another day, another Theorizer video! I'm not sure if this will be related to his first, revised Meet The Robinsons theory, but I'll rewatch that video in preparation for this one anyway.
I love this theory. I always had questions about these situations like the mom missing etc and Dolores being way smarter for a budding a.i. and it makes a lot of sense how you put it haha😂
Your theory made me think about when you mentioned that it's possible he went back and caused her death by trying to stop it and felt guilty around 6:40. What if that's how he found out it's not a good idea to travel back in time and fiddle with the past BECAUSE he did that first, maybe even as a test run to try and go back to see his mom? Like yeah in our universe we might think that's common sense because we have so many pop culture references (and now I also want to say I haven't seen the movie in a while) but if their's didn't really have many references to time travel or maybe even due to Cornelius being a poor orphan and just not being able to see all the references, then is it a far stretch that him previously attempting to save her was sort of his first attempt to test his time travel machine? Like that was how he realized that messing with time isn't a good idea?
As someone who lost a wife, i atcually feel like this is really well done. From the get go, i totally understood what you were going to say. Iv never seen meet the robinsons btw. I was on bord with this theory from minute one. I could see myself acting the same way in his shoes.

Always makes my day to see your theories! Also I FUCKING KNEW there was something up with the Robinson family. Wholesome acceptance always comes at the cost of some weird and dark things
Okay, so, if Petunia's human brain is inside Doris, then what happens in the alternative timeline? At the end of the movie, Lewis says, "I am never going to invent you." What does that mean for Petunia?
Oh my gosh, this video gave me chills, very very well done I am looking forward to seeing your videos. Your video is always have surprises which keep me coming back
Welp, no better way to start December than a Theorizer video on how the puppet from Meet the Robinsons is an intelligent robot possessed by the spirit of her original self, while another part of her spirit resides in DOR-15.
Hey theorizer I LOVE your videos, and I love the lengths you take to make your theories as believable as possible. My Only thing that I can think of this being debunked is A.I. Hey I was half right. The puppet was controlling him in a way
Which is quite poetic and ironic as she was a very controlling person before she died, judging by how skittish her husband is
Feels like a classic theorizer vid, love it!
Basically just a sequal of his old meet the Robbins theories would really love to see more theories on this film because it's really interesting
