The monster bash one got me. I wanted to be that kid growing up! I lost my apogee collection CD years ago and never found it I'm so pissed! They only have like 3 of these on steam.
Seems to be missing the Raptor: Call of The Shadows intro, and it's hidden one (iirc plays on the birthday of Bobby Prince, March 12th. Set your DosBox time to that to force it).
"1) On certain dates of the year (Raptor game developers' birthdays) the then standard Apogee theme song with what can be referred to as a "drunk version" of the Apogee theme song. At the end of this version of the theme, a voice says "You boys just don't get it, do ya?" - That is the voice of legendary music composer Bobby Prince. Additionally, when you exit the game, you get to hear the member of Cygnus whose birthday it is give an impersonation of a monkey. This might consist of hooting or screeching sounds, or simply an eloquent rendering of the word "monkey." (The raucous sound you hear when monkeys appear during the game are all the monkey impersonations playing together at random.) @@maxlefou Thankyou, was looking everywhere trying to find this, its like trying to explain flat earth to a normal person, it doesn't make sense, and you have no-way of proving it :) Except this actually exists.
@@terrytexas8257 The current Apogee isn't the same as the original Apogee which is who the video is about. And though 3D Realms doesn't share the original affiliation with the Apogee brand it's a ridiculous statement to say the two have ''nothing'' to do with each other. The franchise and original Rise of the Triad game was created and published by 3D Realms so there's a glaringly obvious connection there. By your logic, Apogee Software has nothing to do with the 2013 Rise of the Triad because it was published under ''Apogee Games''
Oh god... The nostalgia...
Today marks the day a new Apogee intro/logo has been introduced! This video needs updating.
Wacky Wheels throwing in the Mode-7-esque graphics in the intro there.
Muito interessante a evolução do logo!
Math Rescue one is my favorite.
The Duke nukem II one was my favorite
Apogee was absorbed into 3D Realms in 1996, but was reinstated in 2008.

Apogee is the greatest game company to have ever existed. I loved every one of their games.
The Stargunner intro sounds like it'd fit in a Sonic Adventure game
Thanks a lot.. How to bet find just the complete collection of Apogee ; ))
The 3D realms one though 🔥🔥🔥
ARGH! MY CHILDHOOD IN FAST FOWARD!

Apogee means ACTION...
...in which language?
The 2020 version from Crystal Caves is a downgrade. I didn't realize it was Andrew Hulshult, either.
OHHH SHE'S A LADY
why they changed it to 3d realms, why, it was just stupid
For 3d stuff and staying away from 2d stuff, like 2d platformers, that's why

The final one has nothing to do with 3D Realms.
It does, it was used for the 2013 Rise of the Triad, officially published by Apogee Software meaning 3D realms.
@@大黒天-y5c Well I'm the owner of Apogee Software and Rise of the Triad, and 3D Realms has nothing to do with us.
