- Here is a collection of action caught in the small yard below the NRG Homer City Generating Station. The B&P hauls in the coal and then takes back the empties.
I saw a few of these empty moves, as well as the plant switchers lugging a cut of cars up the steep branch to the plant.

Did they subscribe? Did they 'thumbs up'? NO, wait. They don't have thumbs. Great video.
Those are some nice looking locos! Great shots too Rob. Watch out for the cows. At least they don't have horns. The cows where I work all (bulls and cows) have horns. Cheers, Dan
Always a great day to see the B&P at HCGS. I remember walking across the bridge just below the yard in this video - twice - while it was partially washed out. A foolish thrill of my youth :). About 5 years ago I saw at least a dozen hopper cars - the tall white kind that might hold plastics - at the yard in the video. Would anyone know what might have been in these?
just remember two words when the cows give you that look- medium well lol
The tallest of the four smokestacks in the background is actually the tallest smokestack in the United States as well as the third tallest in the world. 🙂
Rob..Nice Shooting.....Mark S.F. Ca.......( Otto...Rare and Seared...!!!!...)
