thank you, thank you, thank you! Our son lives in Johnstown and we have been to all the spots on these two videos numerous times, the 3 way meet was phenomenaI! Our new favorite videos of all time!
WOW! What a fantastic day of rail fanning you guys had Rowan. Although your day started out raining the sun soon came out to reveal some of the best action I have ever seen. That area of PA. is sure great for trains. The rarest of rare "Triple Meet" oh wow! Plus those 'Clean' RJ Corman engines. Absolutely fantastic video that I'll probably watch over & over again. Thanx for taking me along . . . & looking forward to what's to come.
Nice catches.. too bad we didn't have the camera capabilities back in the 50's when I grew up in Iowa.. the steam locomotives prevailed, but were being taken over by the more modern diesel electric engines. Had the good fortune to seeing the smoke/steam billowing back over the train as it moved along. And as well, chance to board at the invitation of the engineers onto the steam engine pulling a passenger train going East out of Waterloo, IA for a few blocks. Had made friends with the engineers who were always oiling up separated from the passenger cars.. brother and I asked enough questions always on our way home from Boy Scout meetings to get invited aboard. Thrilling.. times. Thanks for the videos
Gotta love those train meets, but I prefer train races are the next best thing. You sure can sniff out where a lot of trains are at where you go to and I think that's the talent that you were born to have, Rowan. Awesome stuff, man!!!!!!!!!
Another awesome video from Rail Fan Rowan. Have never seen so many consists with Pull / Push power before. The highlights for me were the Bluestone tunnels and the 3 trains passing in one location. Well done guys, great 2 days of trains 🚂
Railfan Rowan I also left a comment on one of his. Great trains, but the scenery of snow covered mountains and snow beside the tracks was for me fantastic to see. Have a great Sunday Rowan.
Hah! in my town! (Johnstown) That Jtown rail bridge is infamous for the death toll in the 1889 flood, when the pileup of debris caught fire. That's an old bridge!...I am lovin how excited you are with all our rail action. ;-)
Hey you forgot to mention that our Incline plane also assisted in rescue efforts from the flood back in 1977 , we have two very famous structures that were involved in the floods that destroyed the city.
Another great place to view and watch trains roll on by is in a little burrow called Duncannon, PA. In Duncannon there used to be a train station but it is now a local business called "Blue Ridge" and is located at 1 Water Way, Duncannon, PA. The double line track passes right next to the building then continues down the line until it crosses over the Susquehanna river on a very long rail bridge called Rockville Bridge. It's a great way to see Amtrak and other trains come through the area. Thanks for the video!
Hi guys 😄 Great video with fantastic locations and commentary 👍🏻 Being from England 🏴 it’s important knowing what’s happening instead of just watching trains wiz by 🙄 It’s on my wish list to visit the US in 2023 when I retire with my wife. So videos like your making is fantastic as we can plan our trip based on what your showing 😄 FT.Madison is also on our list too visit as I watch it most days on VRrailfan camera. Keep safe god bless thanks Stevie 😎🏴
Wow so cool that you traveled all the way here to Johnstown to visit our NFS line and our famous Stone trestle Bridge and you got to see our World famous Vehicular Incline Plane , too bad you couldn't ride it because it's not only fun but the view from the top is amazing although you could have went up by car by use of our side road going up to Westmont. It is awfully busy here day and night and pretty noisy sometimes in the evening late night hours , I can always hear when the trains go over the stone Bridge.
Dude first time I seen your channel. I subscribed based on your shirt. I love Toby Mac. I stayed because you have great content and im looking forward to seeing more from your channel. I also know that i don't have to worry about what you will broadcast around my 14yrs old daughter. Keep it up dude and hope to meet you out on the high iron one day.
Great video! Right before my wife and I moved out of Central PA at the end of May I took some time to make a video of the area you shot in this video. I finally got around to posting it on my channel. Watching trains in the Allegheny Mountains is amazing! I'm definitely going to miss it.
Woah that meet! That was perfect I’ve never seen a meet even though I’m a few blocks away from lengthy double track. Maybe CN just doesn’t like meets! Cool video Rowan!
Nice I been up there but my triple train meet happened in Dorval Quebec Canada when there was a CN train behind me then I turn around and here comes a CPKC and VIA rail amazing when stuff like that happens
Very high-quality videos. Nice Job. I live in Altoona. You should add where you are taking your videos. Another good vantage point is behind The Station Medical Center in Altoona.
@@RailfanRowan No Problem there are great Video's both of them I can't pick but I really liked the close up of the horseshoe curve . I watch the 2nd one 1st . Both were great Keep Up the Good Work Young Man. Live your dream .

The grain train at 16:00 goes to Clearfield, Pa. They usually send two of their units down from Clearfield, hook up to it and take it up, then afterwards, the two two NS will take the same track back to cresson. I have a video of a Rj Corman grain train on my channel if you wanna check it out
Wow the 3 trains at once that was pretty cool! keep up the good content!

Viewing these double-stack trains makes me realize how efficient they are compared to moving all those containers by truck!

One of your best videos. Loved all the meets. Thanks for talking enough to be informative but not talking all the time. God bless you too!
I think in Horse Racing they call it a Trifecta. In the Train World, they call it a Triple Meet. WOW!👍
It was sick!
@Ken S.: In the Cattle World, would it be called a Triple Meat?

But if it comes with good practice, but radio communication with the manned helpers yes, single lever action for unmanned
Thank you!
