GOD!
the worst of the siren wasnt even heard, 🥁👁🗨
Awful. Just awful. War is awful. It's hard to believe a good nation like Saudi Arabia suffers through awful wars like the Gulf War. Saudi Arabia is my number one fave nation in the Middle East. I hope this never happens again. Love from America.

Anyone know the horns and sirens that were used in these videos (Ie name, manufacture, model number)
Everyone found this footage. The Gulf War, where allies declared war on Iraq. This was recorded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Thank god I was born after that. Can't imagine how scary it was to many people
That is crazy how a man recorder this on a camcorder! This is a VERY rare footage!
This can't be real. Looks like a nightmare. The 90's and the early 2000's really used to be scary.
It is real
1:05 Scud Missile Alert
24:19 also
It’s way worst than the USA’s it’s terrifying
Eternal 85 I know
reminds me of ghostbusters
and i though Canada's alert system was terrifying
Even the sirens are more scarier than the missiles
The fact that this footage is such low resolution makes it even more terrifying to watch.
This is the most terrifying video during a war in 1991
My mom said: When the Golf War started we went to our farm because it's safer and me and my cousins were climbing the mountains there and before we go outside we should wear gas masks and take the backpack and inside that bag is small medical bag and binoculars. We use the binoculars to see the missiles.
It happened in an urban city mister.
What camera was this recorded with?
That's an old one
Its Unknown, sorry...
VHS camera.
30 years ago, February 25, 1991 or February 26, 1991 the day when the missile hits Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
What is the name of that wailing siren? Please I need to know
That’s Hesa Fredrik
That's a ACA screamer S2
@@mishplayz1288 No the one around 1:50
@@beefsalan It sounds close to a Hörmann ECN siren (sadly don't know the model name). But since the audio quality is bad it might be something else, That's just my guess.

I compare myself as a six year old back then with the children of Gaza today. It was fear versus carpet bombing now. The children of Gaza are Braveheart.
Hello Dear
Documented very well
This year is the date of birth in Riyadh
Days go quickly
Where the neighborhood you live in Riyadh?
Thank-you for the reply and the complement. I was a soldier with the Army and stationed in the Dhahran area during Operations Desert Storm/Shield. I received this tape from a soldier who worked with one of our units that was located in the Riyadh area. I apologize, but I do not know/remember the approximate location of the unit within the city and I do not know exactly where most of this footage was recorded in Riyadh. Be well.
@@Pillbowen Was this footage during Operation Desert Storm/Shield?
@@fernandolomas6635 Yes, this was during Operations Desert Shield/Storm.
@@Pillbowen My dad served in Operation Desert Storm/Shield.
@@Pillbowen I’m sorry that your vacation was a disaster from that year
Thank you Will! Did you like your residence in the Kingdom? You are always welcome anytime soon

That is absolutely terrifying.

Holy shit i feel bad for the people that were killed by the attack but that siren is creepy i think i going to have nightmares....
have u ever seen the channel Horror Stories? I've seen some shit
Wow this is scary I can’t imagine how my parents felt during this
Hi how did you upload the video
That's the best question so far, I always wonder how do people upload VHS to TH-cam.
Maybe this will help m.th-cam.com/video/udwPo6vLfSU/w-d-xo.html
DVD/VHS recorder - then transferred the DVD video file to my computer ... then uploaded to TH-cam (after making a file conversion).
@@PillbowenI was 2 or 3 some how I like the siren I think my ear used too it iam saudi😂
what is the siren model at 0:10 and 2:36
“Whoa! Fireworks!” Got me! Lol
Ok i don't remember this because i was born in Scotland but Holy shit this is scary
Yep
The horns sound like the one’s in Sweden
Hi there, what were you doing at 4-5 AM? Were you guys driving away from Riyadh to escape?
Thank you William Bowen
You're welcome. Be well.
Hey@@Pillbowen, do you remember seeing anything on the TV about the attacks, or did you just heard the siren from outside?
@@ZeroClki often would hear a siren or the Patriot battery - never had time to watch tv
Oh okay@@Pillbowen.
Imagine hearing this will give you goosebumps
The moment the EAS boys have been all waiting for: 24:42
Any chance of a higher quality rip upscaled to 720p60?
Bro, it's 1991, hardly
@@Niercle You have no idea what you're talking about, STFU. Look at VWestlife's camcorder rips, alongside many other 720p60 or 1080p60 analog video rips on TH-cam (before AI upscaling and frame doubling was a widely used thing) or just look at VHS/Video8/Hi8 video on real hardware yourself.
Contexto:fue cuando IRAK lanzó misiles a la capital de Arabia Saudí desde fondo se escuchó misiles y gritos creo espero que este dato les sirva
The screams were actually some type of air raid siren i think
i was 9 years old and I was shocked and i was crying for help and i was screaming like "HELP ME" but then at dawn i stopped crying so pray for me 😔
HOLY SH*T THIS IS SCARY LIKE SOMEONE SCREAMING AND IT SOUNDS LIKE NORWAY
Those sirens made me terrified for life still love the EAS alarms
20:21 listen closely
Do you hear Denmark?
@@daulatbhatt1980No, It is call to prayer not denmark eas alarm.
I never existed that time but my family were, they saw everything, at the moment they heard the missile incoming there were in a complete fear, my family were so scared that traveled from baquyq to Jeddah 12 hours straight, they heard one of the missile will hit there city, till this day, my family will never forget this horrifying moment they heard and saw
If you where a Saudi citizen you will always here it cuz it was played in 1991 due to the 2nd Gulf war
There is no such thing as The Second Gulf war in 1991. It was just called Gulf War.
23:00 wait, this siren Sounds familiar
Fun fact: the sirens used in Saudi Arabia were made from the US, however the EOWS 1212 that they possibly used were modified.
sounded like Lebanese Siren
Nope the 1212 is original except the controls lol
I hear that siren in so many eas scenarios
@SCOTTISHCOYOTE 120C*
Acha cyclone
The name of the siren in 0:25
Kockum Sonics/Kockums Tyfon.
Made in Sweden.
Marine ODS veteran- I was just trying to remember the sound of the alarms- The audio on the first one actually triggered my hind brain and my reaction to a particularly bad impact. I had to shut it off immediately. Some things do not need to be remembered. I hate to think of all the children living in Ukraine that have to endure this almost daily for literally years. Their entire lives will almost certainly be negatively effected.
This is, like, the scariest video ever on TH-cam😕 or at least the creepiest. Creepiest collection of siren sounds. Whole thing looks like a scary nightmare you’re trying to recap. Cannot believe this was a reality for the people of Riyadh at the time. Even the radio on the thumbnail looks like a bunch of eyes staring at you. So sorry to y’all who now can’t unsee it🥲
Man I pissed my self when I heard the sirens and all those booms, never the less those gas masks are uncomfortable .
there were people in mosques using gas masks, it was a historical photo.
Это сирена звучала в 1991 году во время ядерная атака в столице Эр-Рияде.
this is something out of a horror movie
I’m from riyadh but I’m not in 1991 I was born in 2015 my mom was born in 1977 my mom survived
Reason: Saudi Arabia were in a gulf war and there was a nuclear attack in riyadh and It has this warning
@@Zeyad_Green are SCUDs nuclear weapons since they are ballistic missiles or are ballistic weapons not nuclear weapons
