Silas is the big boy at these auctions, he don’t mess around he gets thing bought up.
ILL GIVE YOU A FUN FACT.... SILAS AND I GOT INTO IT ON FACEBOOK A FEW YEARS BACK WHEN THERE WAS A DISCUSSION ABOUT BUYING IMPOUND/ AUCTION CARS... HE CLAIMED " NO ONE BIDS MORE THAN I DO AT THE IMPOUND AUCTIONS" .. I ASKED HIM IF HE EVER WENT TO THE WICHITA P.D. IMPOUND AUCTIONS, HE SAID YES HE BUYS EVERY CAR THERE, NO ONE BIDS MORE..... FUNNY, IVE BEEN TO EVERY IMPOUND AUCTION SINCE 20 YEARS AGO WHEN THEY STILL DID THEM LIVE ONSITE.....I KNOW ALL THR REGULAR BIDDERS AND HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM AT ONE, MUCH LESS " BUYING ALL THE CARS".... I ASKED HIM ABOUT WHY IVE NEVER SEEN HIM THERE IF HE IS SUCH A BIG PLAYER..... HE THEN BLOCKED ME WITHOUT ANSWERING.... HE KNEW HE LIED AND GOT CAUGHT... IVE SEEN HIM AT FARM AUCTIONS SINCE AND HE NEVER SAYS A WORD.... 😊 THERES YOUR " HEAVY HITTER" ...
LOL..
That Pioneer radio was pretty much top of the line in its time. The gas station project sounds cool.
Beautiful back ground music provided by the Western Meadow Lark. Million thanks. St.Paul,Minnesota.
Thumbs up,thanks for bringing us along, blue sky,and sunshine, they used what they had back in the day
That Plymouth Reliant was a stick shift because it was a base model. If you know about these cars like i do, the front fenders had either nothing(like this car which denotes a base model; or SE which was mid trim; or LE which was top of the line trim.) I would say that 95% of all the stick shifts came on the base model cars. What makes this car even more rare is that it's a 2 door with a stick shift. Not many 2 doors were made in comparison to the much more popular 4 doors and wagons. I would love to restore that car just because it's a manual. Great video.
My neighbour had a voyager with a stick shift. Another rarity
@@MrGlenferd Yes! Those are basically Unicorns since so very very few were produced. I'm guessing it was a base model Voyager? They also had SE and LE trim levels like the Reliant.
The K-body LeBaron was also available with a stick shift. Another rarity.
!989 Last year for Reliant & Aries
@@ernielaw I'm not sure that statement is true. I have NEVER seen a Lebaron with a stick shift in my whole life. I'm pretty sure that the 3 speed auto was standard on the more upscale Lebaron. Now if you're talking about the Lebaron GTS, then yes. That car was a totally different model and was offered with a standard 5 speed.
Very cool!!! 🤜🤛
Hope you Feel Better, Kidney Stones Suck, Been There !
Graham plow looked to be a type of chisel plow.AL B.
There were hundreds of old GH in dry land country
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩👀☕️😎👍. Love your field trip very informative & interesting ! Thank you to see the middle of the country ! 🍎✏️📓🎓👍👍
Thanks for taking the time to show us the Ranchero. I could see it sitting off by itself and I thought it looked like a 1964 El camino.
that was a good video Mr. Goodpliers, I really enjoyed it 👍
Back around 1975, my soon to be ex-girlfriend bought an identical ’67 Mustang. Same color, V8 stick. One of the last things I did for her was installing a cassette player. We drove around listening to “Man On The Silver Mountain” by Rainbow afterwards. The car would haunt me later. I’d see it parked down the street of my new GF’s house
Thank you for the video
Sorry to hear about the past month Mr. Goodpliers, glad you are on the mend! 👍
love your videos, thank you. praying for your health, i've had the stones...OUCH
Oh wow, another great video thank you !
I never use that word ‘junk’ though ! 🤣👍👍
Lots of cool old iron!.🙂

Great stuff Tim !! Thank you for sharing your journey !! Glad you are on the mends !! Take it easy and God bless you my friend!!!! Eddy
The Ranchero had been restyled for 1966 along with the Falcon and Fairlane. You are right about 1966 being the last year for the Ranchero having a Falcon front end, but this was also the beginning of Falcon and Fairlane mostly sharing the same sheet metal. For 1967 the Ranchero was given a Fairlane clip, & bore the Fairlane Ranchero name for '67 only. Aside from that the '66 & '67 Ranchero shared the same sheet metal.
A "Silas sighting" at 18:03, to the right of the feller wearing the orange hi-vis beanie.
Excellent mr pliers o boy reliant understand excitement ok car simple became caravan cleaner up clear cote cheers 🥂 😊
We had those Cushman trucksters in our city in the 1970’s for the meter maids.
O my God reliant oh my lol I have alot of memories work on a ton of these k cars back in the day 😊
Damn..so front-wheel drive, transverse engine econoboxes are classic cars now?...What's the world coming to?.....
@@dyer2cycle apparently so go figure lol 😂
I feel you on the kidney stones. Mine was 8mm diameter, not so funny part is it was big enough to block the two smaller ones behind it in the hospital images. Needless to say it was the most pain I experienced and I have had some pretty serious injuries.
The Rustang is a treasure. You should build Ray and Erwin's gas station from the show it's a mad mad mad mad world.
I think that car was a good buy I never seen 5 speed before.
Really cool you, Silas, and crazy D at the same sale. 👍
😊😊😊
Nice scores. Love those loadstars
Those Ford tractors are for the birds in my opinion. I tried to plow with those back in the 1950s but the front end kept popping up whenever I plowed. I went back to my Farmall.
Yes sir. Those Ford tractors were popular but they killed or seriously injured many a farmer back in the day.
Good finds! Prayers for good plumbing!
great video thanks
Thank you for showing the tractors and farm equipment...I wish someone would do a dedicated channel using the
"barn finds and abandoned collections/farms", salvage yard, auctions, etc. format just for old tractors....
I would get that little reliant going and daily that dude! Such a cool little car!!
Kidney Stones! Been there and still doing that. It will be a life long battle. My first ones were in the late '80s and I've been passing them ever since. Good luck only those who have had them know the true pain. I just drink a lot of water now to make sure I don't form them. You spend a lot of time outside in the heat and don't drink enough and you form them. I better see you carrying your water now and chugging it down all the time. It is better to pee a lot that pass a stone! You can quote me on that.
I have experienced more than two dozen stones passed in the past 25 years. The first few times the pain is terrible and you think you are going die.
I drove long-haul trucks for many years and would sometimes end up clear across the country when I had an attack. More than once, skeptical E.R.
doctors were hesitant to give me pain meds....and I would be a crying mess - curled up in agony. As the years go by - your own insides get scared
from each passing stone and the pain seems less and less severe.....but still terrible !
Really cool video thanks for sharing. Need more flee market videos.
Nice Picks Sir Stay Well
Great video and happy that the kidney stones are in the rear view. Definitely stay hydrated to a fault. Always interesting vehicles and equally at the sales you attend and as a square body fan and owner the star was that 84 cowboy stretch limo. A bargain price IMHO. Keep getting better, it’s going to be a great year!
Do a will it run video on the Plymouth.
thumbs up 👍
Yes that car is cool Peace out
Those International Loadstar cabs/front ends are getting popular to rechassis and make hot rods out of.
Dually guy got a deal
Auctioneer has a unique chant .lol
there is one n series to look out for you are around a lot of tractors. it is a 1938 9n 700 i thank had aluminum hood and front painted carry a magnet. if it pretty straight it cab be polished. it would be a high dollar find . just saying
That’s a grahm home ! It’s pronounced grahm “hay-me ! He was a great inventor
My mom had a gray 4 door Reliant that was a stick shift when I was a kid. I remember shifting gears in it pretending I was racing other cars.
Thought we'd see Silas there.
i put a lot of miles on a Kcar with an adapted pinto carb on it .
Was that sialas that popped in lol😊
The year model of the AD Chevy trucks can be narrowed down a bit by knowing that the vent window was added in 1951 and the push button door handle in 1952. There are other details but that is as much as I can remember.
So true, and the one shown here would be pre-1951 because it didn't have vent windows.
😊
300 Six....First Year 1967, Same year as the Truck
Looks like Silas hanging out with ya?
You ever watch Merlin's Old School Garage? Does a lot of model A and T rebuilds/modifications
K car with 5sp. I get it 👍
International tires expensive that does look desirable being diesel 😊
i bought a brand new labaron 2 door 5 speed orderd it
What is that gadget added to the brake pedal of the C30 Dually at 14:45?
Had to laugh when adventures made from junk came up to you.
You keep calling it junk. It isn't junk. It's INVENTORY! 😂
BIG JOE AND TRACTOR DAVE CAMEO APPEARANCES..... 😮
Glad you're feeling better. For whatever reason I find myself rooting against orange spray paint scrap dude at all the auctions. *shrug*
If I had a hundred dollars...
I'd buy you a K car..
manual K car kind of rare . K car was it the 2.2 ? or one the engine that they put in it always end up burning up the head gasket . The other thing is the pick up under the Distributor had a habit of going bad . The car would run and then not run when it got hot. If it was running it would make an ok first car or daily driver for someone . If you dont have cash and have time on your hands I could see someone cleaning it up . Hell you might even get 2 grand for in now vs 1600 in 1993 .
The only way to get a 5sp Aries or Reliant was to get the 2.2. All 2.6 were autos.
Hey I need that 1962 Virginia license plate you have at end of this video how do I go buy getting it from you and we appreciate what you and Joe do
The Graham Hoeme was quite popular in western Kansas, and further north and south. I have at least three of them, good, well built machines. BTW the name is pronounced Graham Hay Me, why, I have no idea. I've got to wonder about the red shirted auction helper wearing the sidearm, he must be pretty insecure or have a lot of people who don't like him...
Was 😊
Guy with a sidearm, what's he expecting trouble at a Kansas junk auction??
Open carry culture open carry because why not
24:19..no way, Hosea, that's NOT a '65..it's a '67 Ford truck...different body styles even..these auctioneers must be completely clueless about what they are selling...that "Ford Ferguson" tractor was a Ferguson TO-20 or TO-30 also..no "Ford" to it.....
No parts car take your time and fix it it be worth good money some day
27:01 Bidenmobile ?
You mean that manure spreader.
I just want to be Joeys goul
Ha, "made from scrap"
Ferguson not Massy
There's always one douche bag at every auction that loves to get in front of your camera.
Love those old International Loadstar trucks.
