Seriously thinking about this car. I could finish a late shift at work. Sleep unnoticed in the carpark and be up and ready for work next day. No commute. Shower at work. Brilliant.

Used mine a couple of times with and without the tent, firstly, the bed is great for one person without the tent, you need to swing in from the side so with 2 people using it you will struggle. The tent is better, it isn't a perfect fit and takes a bit of jigging around until you get used to putting it up, the instructions are useless but it does the job once sussed. The main downside is there are no groundsheets so when you get out of the bed you are straight onto the grass, also the seal around the tailgate can bellow in wind. I used it in the lake district in moderate rain and the whole lot was fine, we slept with the tail gate open and were plenty warm enough, no issues from midges either. If you drop the tailgate you will need to tighten the straps onto the car. ***I used pipe insulation on the corners of the tailgate to protect the tent as when it is set up with the tail gate open there is a lot of strain from the corners of the tailgate on the tent fabric. The blackout blinds are great and the mattress is comfortable though probably not for people who like them soft. There is 200ltrs of storage in the box so you need to be organised, you can store more kit behind the front and middle seats, obviously with the tent up you have lots more room. The box shelf is big enough for a gas burner. Is it worth £2200? time will tell, I like having the option to park up and pitch up short term pretty much anywhere.
You should be able to plug it to the electricity net on the camp side. So that you don’t have to use the battery at all. You can use airco/heating, open windows, charge phone etc. Even put a little fridge in it somewhere. Also a great addition would be if it had a roof-window that can open. Look at the starts and some fresh air
Wow i made one for my berlingo and bought car tent £150 and toilet £20 toilet tent £20 gas cooker £9 plus the car £1500 still cheaper wood for box and mattress £50
Great video. If you drive the jogger away for a day trip; how does the front and rear of the tent secure. I'm assuming it's a tent peg job, could you do a video of the whole park, setup, day out trip please. I'm hoping my local dealer get a sleep pack in so I can try it out. Stealth camping
from what i know you can detach the bottom and lift them up against the front seats to form a wall between the driving compartment and the rest of the car
Nice. But the storage room is really not much, if you have camping gear (chair, oven, gas canister, clothes, table) and maybe an SUP without roof box not really usable
I like the idea, however, the total length of the tent and car will far exceed the majority, if not all camping pitches. Secondly you don't want to be walking through your sleeping area to get in or out of the tent. Does it have side zipped door next to the rear of the car? Finally, it seems well thought out, if expensive. Dacia, should manufacture this type of set up for other makes of car..

The tent > not many places will let you park a car on a camping pitch, and not many would accept or fit a tent that length. Also - no ground sheet in the tent next to the car? Honestly Dacia can't have asked anyone who has ever been camping to design that. Wasted opportunity.
Don't see the point - if you want to drive off to go somewhere it's even more complicated than a rooftop tent. And if you are going to have a tent may swell just have a tent seperate from the car so you can, well, drive away

That is absolutely fantastic, I've seen so many Joggers around Europe packed to the brim with bikes and roof boxes- a car really fit for a purpose

Does not make sense, just buy a big tent same effect and more room, also you can use your car without having to unzip it and reconfigure the seating.
Car camping is a major pastime in the UK. I've been doing it for decades and there are over 10000 car campers.
This configuration is for short time Camping. With some adjustments you get it more comfortable for a longer time.

Sleep pack costs about 1,5k€ if configured in new car, 1,7k€ if purchased afterwards.
