Honestly F1 has some of the ballsiest photographers I've ever seen... So many of these mad lads won't even flinch when cars crash at nearly 300 kmph right next to them, in their search for the perfect shot. Kudos to them!

I don't know man, I was live at F1 race and at WRC gravel rally and let me tell you, getting close to action at rally, when they are sideways on loose surface, got my adrenalin levels much higher. At F1 it's pretty safe behind the barrier.

During Olympics the photographers have wifi modules on the cameras and wifi infrastructure all over the Olympic Park. The photos get uploaded immediately to a processing room where a whole squad of editors pick the best moments, edit and posprocess them and immediately send them to the respective agencies. I suppose the workflow here is similar.

I normally photograph touring cars and GT cars, so it's comforting to hear a pro say his hit rate is low for panning. I usually pan at the exit of a corner, entry is too difficult to pan because you don't know exactly when the driver will brake and by how much. Accelerating is much easier to pan

Absolutely awesome! I'm an avid photographer and a very visual person. Love this type of stuff. Formula 1/ Liberty Media, I give you tonnes of credit for all the various forms of quality content you are providing and the same goes for the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 site...awesome content. Keep it up; this stuff rocks! Thank you!
