- So many of you probably know this already, but Kenji Yamamoto (not the Nintendo one), the composer of this track, plagiarized various songs throughout his career, this being one of them. If you're interested in hearing the original this heavily takes from, I'd advise looking up "Hunting High and Low" by Stratovarius. It's a pretty good band in general.
A spur of the moment thing I did in a couple minutes. I've always thought of making extended versions of tracks I really enjoy listening to. Even though I'm fairly sure this track has at least one or multiple extended versions on TH-cam already.

Planet Namek was always my favorite stage in every DBZ game.

Plagiarism is bad. Nobody would argue that. However, if it means we keep getting stuff like THIS... I'm willing to let it slide once in a while. Have you guys heard the mashup of this and Hunting High and Low? Sounds even better than either of them alone.

I wouldn't call this soundtrack plagerised at all, its just small snippits of the track that sound like other songs. In my opinion there's nothing wrong with that, but thats just me.

I remeber judging so roughly the dragon ball world. Not knowing anything about it. And then my dad bought me budokai 1. And i refused to play. Then i beat all my other games and i was left with one i wouldnt play. At the end i got curious and played it. I had just dove into a world full of adventures, excitement and pure emotion. I remember playing the namek levels and listening to this song. It was a roller coaster ride for me as a kid. And now I'm so glad i hitched a ride for the adventure. Cause its been worth it.

OG budokai trilogy was soooooooooooooo good. The gameplay was great, fair amount of characters with somewhat Canon power levels (you were up to have a bad time fighting kid buu as yamcha for example), great story modes and neat customization.
Yes the music was plagiarized but still part of the games a huge part of them actually, just look the HD remaster... The music got changed and the games while still good just don't feel as satisfying to play as they were back in the day.
Budokai 3/Infinite world will forever remain as the best dragon ball game for me. FighterZ looks great but it's just not the same, also dlc. Fuck this era of gaming seriously.

When he got caught midway into DBZ Kai, Toei sacked him and replaced the music in all future DB releases. That said, this is one instance of plagiarism that I consider worth it.
