Because this and edge of spirit are the only 2 good tracks in this game. They blew their loads on the 2nd game's soundtrack and just focused more on gameplay improvements for this one I think. There's a lot of good fights in story mode this theme plays in, but the fight between 8 and 16 is always the first to come to mind. Something about 8's oldschool brute force vs 16's state of the art tech made it such a fulfilling fight without relying on little Goku's downfall to power him up.

The interesting thing, when I got to that part, I was really mad at Napa for what he did, I punching him with all my might! This is for Piccolo, THIS IS TIEN, THIS IS FOR... and I'm like YEAAAAA BICH!!!! take that!!! This is the only game that captured that moment of Goku's anger and was able to rely the same emotion to the player!!! Great game!
I had this game on thr Wii and man did I have a blast. I whooped tons of ass. God pissed on some story missions where I lost to an OP character. But for certain attacks like say the Kamehameha actually having to hold your hands in the position or raising your hands for the spirit bomb. I'll never forget it
