This is an awesome setup! Do you share your tasks database with clients? I've had trouble figuring out a setup because it's basically an all-or-nothing with how notion handles it so far. So either I let them see everything or have a separate database for every client which obviously would be a giant pain. I'd love to know how you manage this!

I'm very new to Notion and i just purchased your CRM Tracker template for our events and content creation startup in Nigeria. Please I have just two questions : - We organize a lot of events would like to have all of our clients and guests in one database. Is it possible to use the client database in your CRM Tracker as a registration tool for our guests at entry, in a way that those who are in our database will have their information come up automatically and those who aren't can be registered immediately? To avoid duplicates. - Secondly, we couldn't find our Nigerian currency (Naira) in the numbers format. Is it possible to create a new number format for our currency? If it isn't possible, we'd appreciate if you could advice us on the best approach to achieving this, maybe over a call. Thank you. Template looks great, one question. Quite often clients will need one off jobs doing, like change website images or even just change phone number, but it's not a project, at present in ClickUp I have both client projects and client tasks. So can tasks be added to clients and not linked to a project?
Good question: at the moment N4A is setup so that the client projects are the home for all engagements with the client. So you would have one client project for all projects and tasks (including one off tasks) within that project page. However, you can definitely tweak the template so that you have a client dashboard that contains inside it client projects and client tasks. Looks great, In the proposal template, don't you think it's important the client to see all the components that he will get in this project in order to set expecations? I mean that in the proposal template the client will see a details list of the work and what he will get, so he can make sure that all cover and the cost for the project makes sense
Yeah that's a great point! The proposal template is definitely bare bones and supposed to be adapted for your particular use case. If you need a greater price breakdown you could create a simple table in the template and add the information in there. Alternatively you can add pricing information inside the page body of each deliverable!

Yeah great question! There’s a couple reasons: 1. With a relation, we’re able to use the self-referential filter trick for the personal dashboards. This means personal dashboards can be setup automatically + managers can click into their direct reports personal dashboards and see their tasks 2. With a relation you can use roll ups in some use cases which is helpful. It’s absolutely a choice, and there’s advantages and disadvantages with both methods.
Hello there, great tool you've built! Quick question here, when I share the portal and I visit it in Incognito mode, none of the informations I shared appear, like the kanban view of tasks or the timeline, although I set them to be shared with the portal. Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks in advance.

Can someone please help me?? I can't see USD currency (only the value) in the board view of the sum of the estimated value, knowing that the estimated value is a Rollup field type
Hey there! To update the currency you should go to the "Services & Offer" page and change the "Price" property to USD. This will then update the roll-up and formula over on the CRM. Hope this helps!
There’s only internal KPIs in the template at the moment. You could try duplicating the database and integrating it into the client projects & portal. If you would like a hand tweaking the template I do offer consulting services at notionupgrades.com

Unfortunately not. You’d have to translate the template material yourself. If you use Notion AI, you can ask it to translate the pages!
