Nice vid! Appreciated the drive and info, and having that little gps map showing at the bottom right as you drove through in the first part of the video gave me a great view of the positioning. I guess I'm more visual! Lol. Thanks anyways. I plan to visit there soon.

Another great video. Aside from the beautiful views, i really enjoy just listening to the tires roll across the gravel. Stay safe, looking forward to the next one.

So incredibly beautiful! Thank you for filming this. We have reservations at Molas Lake Campground for the beginning of August, and I can’t wait! Have you ever filmed that campground? From what I’ve seen through online pics & video, it looks amazing as well. It does have a few more amenities, but this campground looks even more quiet & private. I’ll definitely check it out when I’m out there. Thanks again!

Molas Lake Campground is only a couple of miles from this one. Very similar views. You will enjoy it!

I forgot how bad all the smoke from the forest fires was last summer. Hopefully its not like that this year

Agree! We don’t want to repeat last year.

Question if we went got there on a Sunday afternoon and stayed like until Wednesday or Thursday do you think these campgrounds would not be full? I know going on a Thursday or Friday night it is hard to get a campground...so I was curious if we switched our days if that would help.

Showing up on a Sunday or Monday increases your chances of getting a site. This one is close to the highway, so don't arrive too late.

I know a lot of these are in areas that are closed off for the winter. Do you know of any Colorado dispersed camping areas open on Dec/Jan? Thanks in advance.

Try the San Luis Valley. Alamosa Campground, Penitente, Zapata Falls are a few that might be open with a little snow

I need some help finding a campground, I'm from PA & just moved to CO & looking for a campground with tons of trees that'd remind me of PA forest. I tent camp, any info would be great.
