If Maximus told the Brotherhood that Titus died on his watch, then they would've held him responsible for Titus's death and most likely would've killed him for it. At least that's what Titus said would happen before he died.
I just figured Titus was bullying because he needed the stimpack. In Fallout 4 I don't remember the brotherhood being so strict about killing the Squires. But it's been a long time since I've played so it's possible I just forgot.
@@MACReactI think it’s because there are different chapters of the brotherhood and some are more strict than others, I think the ones shown here are the eastern chapter and are far more strict then their west coast counterparts in fallout 4.
@@MACReact Yes, but Titus also threatened Maximus at the same time, telling him what would happen to Maximus for failing his duties as a squire. That fool(Titus) shouldn't have done that, otherwise he'd still be alive. I can barely remember Fallout 4. I only saw a game movie of it on "Gamer's Little Playground" channel years ago. I feel like the squires were treated as expendable/replaceable assets from the live action show after what that guy on the radio said to Maximus.
To be fair his squire knows more then him, and Titus was angry, humiliated, so his frustration landed on Maximus. But Max's words also true: you are not worthy to wear that armor, he didn't acted like a Knight.
This isn't only a name, they are expected to be brave, etc.
@@MACReactthe brotherhood has been evolving into a more brutal, more fascist group since fallout 3, if you notice in each game the Brotherhood gets a little more evil, especially in fallout 4. I think that evolution has continued to trend in that direction as we see here in the show.
I love how becoming a squire was seen as this big thing amongst the aspirants. Everyone gathered around to celebrate Dane getting anointed, the whole 9 yards. Only for this guy at 4:55 to say "We've got plenty of squires." like they're nothing. Really hammering home to Maximus how disposable he was seen as.
yes only the best of and luckiest of squires ever become knights. if they follow the games knights can become paladins... old experienced paladins become elders who can get voted very high up to become clerics.
there's a separate branch for non fighters who become scribes then scholars then elders

Suddenly, the foreshadowing of that "Don't lose your head" poster they kept showing us in Ep.1 becomes very apparent in Ep.3
Carrying a severed head openly through the wasteland is pretty on point for the Fallout universe..
I've seen several reactors question why she doesn't put the head in her backpack, but to be fair its clear she keeps her food and belongings in that backpack. Putting a rotting head in there probably is a bad idea.
One or two usually end up in my inventory somehow

I mean yeah NV had you take cook cook and the other fiends heads as mission for the NCR but not cold fusion capsules stored in the brain this series is hella on point to the game I love it!😂
Yes, it's also the Water Chip in Fallout 1 that breaks setting into motion the events of the first game. They really used all the little references to their advantage in this series, it wasn't just a throw-away Easter Egg, it was a key moment showing how Reg and Woody have no idea what they're actually doing.
If Fallout’s third episode is mostly about moving pieces around the board then it’s mostly interesting for where it leaves Lucy

The destroyed water chip is a call to fallout 1. In Fallout 1 it's the primary 1st mission. It's like 154 days to find a water chip. The first time I played the game way back in 1998 it took me almost all the 154 day's but now know where to go to get it within 30-40 day's
Looks like the Ghoul has some hate towards Vault-tec since he wasted valuable ammo to blow the face off the billboard. Lucy is getting some harsh lessons on how the real world is. More to come I'm sure

I finished binging this show and immediately started playing fallout 4 for the first time. It’s funny, when I got to the part of the game where the gulpers show up, I was like “….that’s it?” They’re sooo much better in the show, haha. Just another random monster in the game
Yes some elements are deeper in the serie, but some are more detailed in the games.

Didn't play much 4, so I never saw em there... But I saw one in 76 recently, and steered clear of the sucker out of fear from the show! Funny to hear the show hyped em up hahaha. Now Yao Guai on the other hand...

Props to the cgi department because the look of terror on the baby deer's face as it gets dragged into the bushes... If Disney had animated The Lion King remake that well people might've actually liked it.

Not many people get the water chip reference. I myself have yet to play FO1 but I know the synopsis.
Also the Ghoul did mention the wasteland golden rule and noted gulpers digest slowly. He's on a side quest now
don't worry power armor blows my mind too
so many people I've seen react to this ask the same thing "is it smart to leave it there?" the power core is broken so he can't move it. it's too heavy to lift and carry around, he has to go away from the suit to get the power core fixed. what is he supposed to do with the suit?
She didn't play the games she don't know how the suit works
@@MACReact oh me either. I guess I just looked at it like a car that breaks down or gets stuck in the mud. If you’re on your own, and can’t wait you can’t exactly bring the car with you. You gotta risk leaving it and coming back.
We should assume not all Wastelanders know how power armor works, they look at it and think it just works so they could try to wear it without the power core, or scavenge it for parts
@@pabloc8808 I wasn’t assuming that anyone knew how it worked. What I’m saying is that it wasn’t working and there’s no way that he’d be able to move it or bring it anywhere and had no choice but to leave it.
One minor thing just because I like to over-analyze details: it's not the power core that was broken. A damaged fusion core usually explodes (I've done it in game, it's funny as hell). And the fusion core goes into the back, not the helmet. And the suit still had *power* after the Ghoul damaged it (otherwise the rockets would have stopped working), it just became impossible for Maximus to control it properly. I think it's more likely some component that was necessary to maintain coordination, like a gyroscope or something similar necessary to maintain balance or possibly something connected to the suit's HUD. Once it was down in a prone position it was probably pretty impossible to get up from that position.
So Cooper was the Vault Boy for the posters, ADs first! Thumbs up! THIS is the real reason he didn't wanted to do thumbs up for the photos later, not the bomb reference.
Also in the first episode Cooper had almost lost all, going to kid birthday parties. And he was called communists. Something went bad with him and Vault Tec.
Prisoners: don't forget most Vault dwellers thought with bare hands so only incapacitated some, and of course Lucy shot his tranquiliser darts into at least 5.

Maximus trolling his squire was kind of funny.
The Ghoul didn’t give Lucy his water bc it was irradiated water... he knew she should not drink it. When she did drink the nasty water it was her choice. He wanted her to learn.
The Ghoul is still Cooper Howard, there is humanity within him... he just doesn’t realize he’s showing it.
I’d argue The Ghoul ISN’T Cooper. Yes they have the same body but it feels like most of Cooper died a long time ago. Where it seems that Cooper was a decent guy, The Ghoul’s personality is as ugly as his exterior. I could see Cooper potentially “resurrecting” in some capacity but for now, he is monstrous.
