Hi again, the bench which is on the middle rails and moves up to extend the bed is brilliant. Can I ask how is it supported at the ends. Are the ends using the old seat rails too? Or are they on rollers?
Love how there’s lots of space and plenty of storage however, I live in my car ft. I couldn’t think of anything more painful than having to have all doors open to organise a feed, especially in the rain
@@paulbarrington-heaven4759I read your other comment and not once did I bring up “cooking” on rainy days. If you read my comment properly, I said organise a feed. Something as simple as a sandwich requires all doors to be open. Was just a simple observation
Still love this van. Can I ask how high the benches are without the cushions. Mine look way lower than them but maybe it’s the photography. Yours definitely looks like loads of room in the drawers etc. Is there a plan of the interior online, or can one buy the plan.
Love this. Forget comments on cooking outside in the cold, I’ve never understood re the cooking inside a small campervan, the smell the damp from stem etc. Great set up. We just get takeaways in the winter. Ours is for short summer holidays. I would like to know the length of the bed when all put together please.
Kiaora Vern, you still build the best vans ever, fab ingenuity in all vids.
Thanks Suzie

It uses both main runner is the existing, and guide rollers under each end.
Great design and layout
Awesome builds you do 🎉 well done 👏

@@jdpoki1844 And if you read my comment properly, I did not once mention your name! So why presume the comment was you if you didn’t mention cooking??

Hi Vern,I Like your Simple Layout for the Elgrand.I have a 2003 Elgrand and wanting to enquire about the Conversion.
Cheers
awesome
Wow, well nice
Not a fan of having to go outside the van to assess things like food or clothing or water! The basics. But it does look nice.
They seem to have plenty of storage inside.
Well done Vern!
Cheers mate
Did you do this conversion? I have just bought an Elgrand and looking for quotes to convert it
