PEP is a GENIUS manager
Can you imagine Maresca playing a false 9 with players out of position with midfielders at centre back and being totally slaughtered by pundits and experts who still believe football of 30 years ago should not be tampered with.
what a shock Danny Murphy shows no respect to Leicester...
He's such a cretin. Maresca is right, obviously Leicester will be the biggest scalp. Recent PL, FA Cup and community shield winners. Been in Europe several times in the last few years and generally at the top end of the table. Nobody's had a quicker fall from grace than this so Leicester will very much be the scalp people want.
Leeds are a massive club historically, really well supported but they've spent most of the past 20 years outside the PL and circling the drain when they were in it.
Enzos just helped man city win the treble. Why wouldn't he copy pep he's the best manager this moment in time. Plus who says it's all peps tactics. yes peps in charge but as a group of coaches they work together and take ideas from each other.

We are the only team thats successfully avoided relegation after being bottom at Christmas, the next year we won the PL, the year after that we managed to get to the QF of the champions league at the first attempt....add ti that two 5th place finishes, a charity shield and an FA Cup win.
Teams in the championship will definitely be looking forward to playing us and the Atmos at the King power is fantastic...Danny Murphy needs to take a break i think.
As for us playing "the pep way", thats impossible because there is no set Pep way, he constantly evolves his tactics. He is an absolute tactical genius. Id ve happy for us to have an actual tactical plan and identity this season, last season was a disaster and the blame lies squarely on Brendan Rodgers, he should have shown some spine and left when he realised he didn't have the fight anymore.
He thinks he's got Arteta's minerals to even be in Peps locker room.
City plays differently season by season. No team can follow them at this moment. How will they play next year we will see.
lets update murphy.... we are smashing the championship 30 games in and 72 points and with maresca at the helm was a superb appointment from the club that was seen as a gamble when arrived with very little managerial experience but what a gem its turned out to be, as enzo is undoubtedly a football genius and has the lads playing intelligent quality football

@@flyoverfredusa Can't make a man a women. Can't make a spade a club. Hart served his role well while a stuard. Club legend. But he was not Pep's guy, pep system wouldn't work with Joe. Pep is superb at player development...he recognized Joe wasn't the guy and didn't beat around the bush. He had the support of the club and we moved on. Imagine the Glazers got United Onanna for the upcoming season. United might stay in the top 4 in the end. I don't see them finishing top 4 the way their transfer window has gone so far.

I think more teams now play the Klopp way, with the high press high energy. Peps way you neec exceptional players, which needs lots of money, Klopps way you need good players with exceptional fitness, which most players can obtain.

Great. Let us see Pep do this with Burnley or Leeds. With coaching, not coaching top class players you bought. City have produced Foden. All those coaches, all those brains. The project. The philosophy. The culture. Do it with also rans like Coughie did. Rejects. The bench at City is full of players who would get in the second, third and fourth best teams. You can play any way.
